Sydney Sweeney has emerged as a familiar face on television thanks to her incredible performance as Cassie Howard in the hit HBO series Euphoria, for which she even got an Emmy nomination. With that said, it appears she left her Anyone But You co-star stuttering with one just simple word while filming the movie.

It does not take much time in the era of social media for a photo or a moment to get attention online. It is also bound to cause a stir worldwide when it features an alluring photo of such stunning stars. Recently, the renowned filmmaker Will Gluck blew everyone away when he shared a not-safe-for-work (Nsfw) picture of Anyone But You’s leading face, Glen Powell. Did we also mention that this snap was pretty sure to become an internet sensation?
Sydney Sweeney and Powell made significant contributions to the rom-com genre towards the end of last year. Audiences were eager to see how they heated up the screen after their 103-minute flick became one of the most talked-about movies of the year. Sony’s Anyone But You, which was co-written and directed by Gluck, is billed as a contemporary—and a very loose— adaptation of William Shakespeare’s comedy Much Ado About Nothing.

Freeform has made other plans for next summer. The cable channel has cancelled the Cruel Summer anthology series, so viewers shouldn't bother looking for a third season.
A teen thriller series, the Cruel Summer TV show stars Sadie Stanley, Lexi Underwood, Griffin Gluck, KaDee Strickland, Lisa Yamada, and Sean Blakemore, with Paul Adelstein recurring. Season two is set in an idyllic waterfront town in the Pacific Northwest and follows the rise and fall of an intense teenage friendship. Approaching the story from three different timelines in the 1990s leading up to Y2K, the story twists and turns as it tracks the early friendship between computer genius Megan (Stanley), mysterious foreign exchange student Isabella (Underwood), and Luke (Gluck), Megan’s best friend. A popular teen goes missing, and a seemingly unrelated girl transforms from a sweet and awkward outlier to...

“When I first heard about the project, I was very intrigued about it because I didn’t know anything about this historical figure,” shares Oliver Garcia about Joseph Bologne, the Black eighteenth-century composer at the center of the film “Chevalier.” Once the costume designer learned about Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, played by Kelvin Harrison Jr., he felt even more “excitement” about the film because it was “going to become the first time this incredibly inspiring character was going to be on a film.” Watch our exclusive video interview above.
Garcia has worked on period films as an assistant costume designer on “Anna Karenina,” “The Favourite,” and others. Unlike some of those films that center on either fictional characters or are only loosely based on historical figures, the aim of “Chevalier” was to “do a proper biopic” and “pay homage to the character and to the period that he lived in.

Cruel Summer’s unexpected Private Practice family reunion was “a very lucky accident,” according to new showrunner Elle Triedman.
The Freeform drama’s Season 2 premiere on Monday introduced viewers to a complicated teenage love triangle between Megan (played by Sadie Stanley), Isabella (Lexi Underwood) and Luke (Griffin Gluck). But it’s Luke’s relationship with two other costars that is full of history: Gluck’s Cruel Summer dad is portrayed by Paul Adelstein, who also played his character Mason’s father, Cooper Freedman, on ABC’s Private Practice. And Megan’s mom is none other than Private Practice vet KaDee Strickland,...

Honestly, it's kind of hard to believe that it's only been 25 years since the R-rated romantic comedy "There's Something About Mary" ranked among the top five-grossing films of 1998. If you're a millennial or older, that probably feels like an actual lifetime ago. Meanwhile, the vast majority of Gen-Zers weren't even alive to be scandalized by Ben Stiller's "hair gel" in the Farrelly brothers' massively popular raunchfest.
Recent movies like "Blockers," "Good Boys," and "Booksmart" have done a fine job of keeping that film's mix of sweetness and debauchery going. Thankfully, they've also moved away from the misogyny, homophobia, and dubious handling of consent that too often marred otherwise enjoyable older entries in the bawdy comedy tradition. However, compared to the heyday of R-rated rom-coms and comedies in general that came after "Mary" — when the likes of "The 40-Year-Old Virgin," "Wedding Crashers," and "Knocked Up" reigned triumphant at the box...

Everybody wants to be a cat, but not a ton of people want to direct cats. Count Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson in that rarefied latter group, because the Oscar winner behind “Summer of Soul” is making his narrative debut with a remake of the Disney animated feature “The Aristocats,” IndieWire has confirmed.
An individual with knowledge of the project told IndieWire that the film will be a “live-action hybrid reimagining” of the original film, a 1970 animated feature directed by Wolfgang Reitherman. In addition to directing, Questlove will oversee the music for the film. The script was penned by Will Gluck, director of the 2014 “Annie” and “Peter Rabbit,” and Keith Bunin, writer of the 2020 Pixar film “Onward.”
The project makes sense for Questlove in a way because the film’s most memorable moment is a jazz sequence, set to the song “Ev’rybody Wants to Be a Cat” — Quentin Tarantino claims the...
