Rising British Actor, Samuel Hayes landed his first on-screen role at age 16, playing the lead role of "Toby" in the short film 'VIOLA GETS OUT' (2017). This was subsequently followed by a supporting role in the short film 'CURED' (2018).
After a short break in acting, he obtained a first class degree in biomedical sciences at the University of Manchester and subsequently rekindled his passion for acting, landing featured roles in 'THE TRAP' (2023), NETFLIX'S 'BODIES' (2023), and ITV'S 'THE LONG SHADOW' (2023).
Most recently, he played "Jonathan Jones" in PLATFORM 7 for ITV, taking on the supporting role of a young psychiatric nurse. He also appeared in the fourth series of ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL (2023) as the recurring co-star, Villager "TOM WHITACKER".
However, Samuel's acting journey initially began in the theatre with credits including 'Romeo' in ROMEO AND JULIET, 'Tom Wingfield' in THE GLASS MENAGARIE, and 'Link Larkin' in HAIRSPRAY.
He has since also delved into commercial work playing a "teaching assistant" in an online advert for 'Atkins Global', and the "bartender" in a TV advert for 'Epilepsy Action' that was subsequently screened on BBC News.
Samuel is currently filming for an undisclosed feature film in the lead role of "Alex".
