Steven Knight’s Peaky Blinders has captivated audiences worldwide with the tumultuous world of the Shelby family, as they navigated the treacherous landscape of gang warfare and political intrigue. Loosely based on the real-life urban youth gang of the same name, the series incorporates elements from historical figures and addresses prevalent themes such as anti-Irish sentiment.

In a world where Superhero Cartoons and Disney features dominated the TV scene, Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball Z helped anime to make it into the mainstream. While anime and manga were already introduced in the United States, and shows like Astro Boy or Voltron were already popular, it wasn’t until Toriyama’s Dragon Ball successor came about that anime became a staple part of popular culture and helped lay the foundation of the current anime frenzy.

CBS’ military police procedural giant NCIS isn’t going to slow down anytime soon: initially released back in 2003, the thriller show stays strong with its season 21’s finale coming up and the next season in the works.
Though the show has been prioritizing the characters’ career path all along, the latest season seemingly shifted its focus to more personal matters — and one particular character may get it all in both spheres during the season’s finale.
NCIS’ finale that is set to be aired on May 6 is preparing a “unique opportunity” for special agent Jessica Knight, according to the episode’s summary provided by CBS.
Given that the offer will be given by Leon Vance, NCIS director, fans may be officially reassured that the character is about to get some big promotion, but the nature of these big changes remain pretty much unclear.

We now have a shoot date for the long-awaited ‘end to this chapter’ of the beloved Birmingham-based crime saga, Peaky Blinders. September!
Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight has confirmed that the Peaky Blinders film will go into production in September. We’ve known since the beginning of this year that a 2024 shoot was the aim but given that Knight and the project’s star, Cillian Murphy are both rather busy people, nobody was exactly sure where they’d fit the project in.
We now have an answer to that question. Speaking with The NME, Knight has confirmed that “it’s gonna happen this September” and added that he’s doing final tweaks on the script. He also added: “We’re there. We’ve got everything sorted, we’ve got all the commitments we need, we are ready to go” which certainly sounds like a final confirmation to us.

Steven Knight has been round the block, and the British writer-creator of the iconic series “Peaky Blinders” knew when he was hired to adapt the novel “All the Light We Cannot See” as a four-part Netflix limited series that the primary challenge would essentially be to avoid trying to fix something that wasn’t broken. The 2014 book by author Anthony Doerr had not only been a runaway bestseller but also earned Doerr the Pulitzer Prize, and Knight had no intention of compromising its brilliance while writing the series. “It wasn’t ever a thought in my head to say, ‘Ok, I’m going to impose myself on this’,” he says. “It was actually quite the opposite. For me, as far as possible, it was more, ‘Let’s let this horse ride, let it run the way it is, where you feel as if you need to do something, then do something…...

Actress Drew Barrymore recalled spending the “most chaste” evening of her life with New Kids on the Block member Jordan Knight at the peak of his fame.
The actress reminisced about what she anticipated to be “every girl’s fantasy” as she found herself in the hotel room of the New Kids on the Block singer during his pop heyday. However, the pair simply played music until the early hours of the morning before Barrymore headed home.
Speaking on her self-titled talk show to Knight’s bandmate Donnie Wahlberg and his ‘Blue Bloods’ co-star Bridget Moynahan, Barrymore shared, “I thought about a night that I remember walking through a sea of girls at a hotel on the Sunset Strip.”
She added: “And it was in the late eighties, early nineties, and I got to go into Jordan Knight’s hotel room, and it was like, literally, I was getting to...

The Veil is another example of why we are in the golden age of brilliant female characters on screen. These strong, smart, and cunning female characters own the screen and set them ablaze. It just so happens that many can be found on FX. A network that celebrates edgy and innovative storytelling, with great female roles at the series center.
Often, these roles subvert female stereotypes. You have Anna Sawai’s brilliant performance in Shōgun, one of the greatest roles in television history, who gives a thoughtful, sumptuous, and cunning performance. Then, last year, in A Murder at the End of the World, Emma Corrin brought to life one of the most complex characters on television in recent memory.

We meet Elisabeth Moss’ Portia in the first scene of FX’s new Hulu drama The Veil, striding confidently through a busy international airport, stiletto heels precariously high, her mouth a gash of crimson lipstick. She’s meeting a shady businessman named Tomas, and they toast to a transaction successfully made. But several seconds later, Interpol rushes in and she chides Tomas for all the criminal details he spilled in the previous 37 days. She walks away, leaving him fuming and in custody.
Her name isn’t actually Portia. As she leaves, aspect and tone instantly changed, she’s already arranging her next destination — Istanbul — and her next identity, telling a person on the telephone, “I would like my name to be Imogen.” She will be Imogen for the rest of The Veil.
It’s here, two minutes into the show, that eagle-eyed viewers and English majors should already be putting together certain pieces.

New Kids on the Block band member Jonathan Knight knows how to work a stage, but he is also pretty handy. That’s been shown on his hit HGTV series Farmhouse Fixer in which he stars with designer Kristina Crestin. The duo is back for Season 3, which premieres April 23, where they’ll work together to renovate New England farmhouses, many of which are 200-300 years old. Knight and Crestin have built a solid foundation of satisfied clients with their show. So much so that Barbara and Chris, owners of the John Proctor house from Season 2, have called the pair to help again with their property connected with the Salem witch trials. After their bedroom and bathroom remodel project, they returned to find a pipe burst that caused costly damage in another area of the house and will require the removal of black mold. Oscar-winning actor Cillian Murphy is ready to don his razor blade hat again as the gang boss Tommy Shelby for a Peaky Blinders movie. The BBC/Netflix follow-up film is finally coming together, with plans to shoot in September, says Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight. Speaking with Birmingham World, Knight confirmed Murphy’s return for the anticipated project, saying cameras will roll later this year in Digbeth, England.
Peaky Blinders got its start on BBC Two before migrating to BBC One. With enough time, Netflix hosted the show on its streaming network, where fans worldwide wished to join Shelby’s crew. Peaky Blinders ran for six seasons from 2013 to 2022, with the story set in 1900s England, where a gang who sew razor blades into the peaks of their caps rule the streets. While one of Hollywood’s biggest names, Murphy remains loyal to Steven Knight and his beloved Peaky Blinders series.

Steven Knight’s hit series Peaky Blinders has reached the end of its televised run, but that doesn’t mean that there won’t be more of the series in the future. Namely, as we already know, the Peaky Blinders series will end with a proper movie, instead of a seventh season. Although Knight initially said that the movie would come out in 2024, this has not been confirmed, but he has confirmed two other important things.
The first, but somewhat less important one, is that filming should start in September 2024 in Digbeth: We’re shooting it in September just down the road in Digbeth.” Knight has been running the series from the start and while he has other upcoming projects as well, Peaky Blinders is still a priority for him and we’re happy to confirm that the film will indeed be shot this year. Everyone knows why Bruce Wayne became the Dark Knight. The story of Thomas and Martha Wayne has been played so much that it’s eye-rolling whenever those events are recalled. Interestingly enough, there’s never been a true intimate focus on Bruce Wayne’s psyche following the traumatic events of his parent’s death. Fox’s Gotham is the closest live-action series to document Bruce Wayne’s story after that moment, but the focus is never fully on him.
