Kristian brought readers an exclusive interview with Adam Green during the San Diego Comic Con and he recently had a chance to talk to Adam Green and Joe Lynch once again during their promotion of Holliston‘s Season 1 Blu-ray/DVD release. Not only did he learn about some of their favorite moments from the first season, but what we can expect from season 2. They also shared some interesting stories about encounters with crazy fans at horror events:

Chicago – Is Adam Green the next great horror director? There are many fans of the genre who love to make the case of the current-and-future importance of Green, pointing to films like “Frozen,” “Spiral,” and, most of all, “Hatchet” as their evidence. To some, including this horror junkie, the jury is still out. Watching Green’s breakthrough film, now available on Blu-ray, it’s easy to see what people adore about Green and what he still needs to work on.

Hatchet DVD PosterThe Blu-Ray special features for Adam Green's (Frozen) Hatchet have been revealed. The Blu-Ray moves to stores September 7th and many of the extras on the DVD of the film will be carried over to the Blu-Ray disc. The Blu-Ray will be available on Dolby True HD 5.1 Surround Sound and Green will give his thoughts on the shoot along with star Kane Hodder (Dead Noon, Horror). Some other highlights included are a making of featurette entitled "The Making of Hatchet" and a short clip called "Guts and Gore," which will show off some of the special effects from the production. Dread Central's Johnny Butane has described the film as "a very well done slasher film."
