- Yehuda Bauer was born on April 6, 1926 in Prague, Czechoslovakia [now Prague, Czech Republic]. He is known for Partisans of Vilna (1986), Spell Your Name (2006) and Voices from the List (2004).
- Prof. Yehuda Bauer was a historical consultant for Shoah (1985). Director Claude Lanzmann interviewed him for his epic documentary, but didn't use it in the final cut. This interview and all the other outtakes of the film are now in the public domain and part of the 'Claude Lanzmann Shoah Collection' in the 'Steven Spielberg Film and Video Archive'.
