Over the past few years, no show has been able to attract as many loyal viewers as Yellowstone. Fans of the Western genre have been happy to see the show go mainstream and continue to succeed with each new spin-off that Taylor Sheridan has created. At this point, Yellowstone is more than just a show, it is a brand.
To say that people were devastated to see the show go off the air due to a scheduling conflict with its star, Kevin Costner, would be an understatement. However, the prospect of getting another spin-off to continue the story has since calmed the majority of fans.
Especially now that the creators are teasing new beginnings for some of the familiar characters.

The romance of fan favorites Beth and Rip could continue beyond Yellowstone, actor Cole Hauser hints.
The final episodes of the Paramount Network hit are set to begin production sometime this year. But Hauser suggests the characters played by himself and Kelly Reilly might have a future beyond the show’s fifth season closer — presumably, in Paramount+’s planned Yellowstone spinoff 2024 (working title).
“I’m so focused on finishing Yellowstone the way it needs to be finished right now — well, just the show itself,” Hauser recently told Country Living. “We’ll see where that leads. But I know that there’s some stuff on the horizon when it comes to Taylor’s ideas for Kelly Reilly and myself, and some of the other cast. I’m excited to see where he goes creatively with that. But right now it’s just: Let’s finish strong; let’s do the best we can.

All the Yellowstone drama has turned Kevin Costner into some sort of anti-hero figure among fans. Costner’s issues have caused some serious damage to the reputation of the TV series that saw its biggest overnight launch for the fifth-season premiere in November 2022. The second part of the fifth season will start filming soon, probably without Costner to lead the show. Yellowstone co-stars have revealed his gentler side over the years which tells a different story from the current drama.
Kevin Costner’s exit may have caused some hatred against him among the Yellowstone cast & crew
Costner plays John Dutton, the patriarch of the Dutton family and the owner of the Yellowstone ranch. Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, and Luke Grimes play his three children, while Cole Hauser plays his ranch hand in the Paramount series.

RuPaul’s Drag Race named a new winner this past week, as Nymphia Wind, Plane Jane, and Sapphira Cristál competed for the throne.
Nymphia was named the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 16, taking home a nice $200,000 check for her hard work.
Nymphia also earned the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar.
“To those who feel like they don’t belong, just remember to live fearlessly and have courage to live your truth. And Taiwan, this is for you!” she told Entertainment Weekly.
It took 16 long episodes to lead to a winner, and some Drag Race fans feel the work and talent should yield a bigger prize.
One of those fans is Big Brother 24 winner Taylor Hale, who shared some thoughts on social media.

John Dutton is undoubtedly Kevin Costner’s most iconic role in his career. While he has starred in and directed some great films, his Yellowstone character remains his most popular among fans. The Dutton patriarch has been a protector of the Yellowstone ranch for over four and a half seasons, with the last half of season 5 yet to start shooting.

Kelly Reilly made a lot of heads turn and jaws drop as Beth Dutton on Yellowstone. The British actress really took the character written for her and made it her own. In doing so, Reilly managed to leave a lasting impression in the minds of fans, throughout the five seasons of the show.
Playing Dutton was no easy feat for the star. However, as an artist, she let another extremely popular character from a timeless classic inspire her: Shakespeare’s Lady Macbeth.

America and Jared were on the BB25 cast, but both came up short in their quest to win the $750,000.

America made it to the jury phase of the season but got evicted a bit before the final weeks happened. America then voted for Jag Bains to win on the finale night.

It’s no secret that Yellowstone is the biggest surprise to hit broadcast TV in ages.
The Dutton saga snagged viewers (if not critics) right out of the gate, and Yellowstone has been a cultural phenomenon and ratings juggernaut ever since.
With several prequels already and more in the future, now we look to the end of Yellowstone and what comes next with the modern setting of this captivating story.
What is Yellowstone About?
Yellowstone tells the tale of the Dutton family and their sprawling ranch in Montana.
The Duttons were early settlers to the area and amassed incredible acreage, becoming the envy of others, especially those who wished to tear it asunder to make way for more modern pursuits.

With Yellowstone set to conclude later this year, there have been countless questions about where some of the show’s most popular characters would go next.
Paramount Global has been aggressively expanding the franchise with spinoff after spinoff. Now, some of the most crucial elements of the next series could be eradicated before production even begins.
According to the industry newsletter Puck, Kelly Reilly (who plays Beth Dutton), Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler), and Luke Grimes (Kayce Dutton) are at an impasse with producers over particular demands.
When the follow-up to Yellowstone was confirmed when Paramount Network announced the original series would cease with the back half of Yellowstone Season 5, the trio weren’t initially attached.
The show was set to feature Matthew McConaughey as the star attraction as the universe recalibrated with many new characters.

Yellowstone‘s future continues to be uncertain as a new report surrounding the upcoming spinoff hints at trouble behind the scenes when it comes to salary and legacy stars Cole Hauser, Kelly Reilly, and Luke Grimes. In a newsletter from Puck, it’s being revealed that there’s been a months-long back-and-forth over whether the trio will return for the upcoming series when Yellowstone wraps its second half of Season 5 later this year. This salary debate comes on the heels of Yellowstone lead Kevin Costner‘s dispute with showrunner Taylor Sheridan, in which he complained that script delays were impeding on the production schedule of his two-part Western epic Horizon. (Credit: Paramount Network) Ultimately, Sheridan wrote Costner out of the second half of Yellowstone‘s fifth and final season. The behind-the-scenes drama continues for Yellowstone. So much so that it could make for its own interesting show. The hit-maker of Paramount+, Taylor Sheridan, has been dealing with a lot of controversy for this last season when his star, Kevin Costner, disputed the production schedules and made it difficult for filming when he opted not to return. As the old saying goes, “The show must go on.” So, the series would push forward with its final episodes without Costner. While Sheridan was disappointed by the series of events, he would look forward to working with his new name actor, Matthew McConaughey on a spin-off continuation of the modern stories featuring the Dutton family.

As we get ready to close out 2023, it’s time to look back at the films that entertained us and left a lasting impression. It was the year of Barbie vs. Oppenheimer (affectionately referred to as “Barbenheimer”) battling for the summer box office, and The Flash with Michael Keaton returning as the Caped Crusader in a film that fell short of reviving the DC movie franchise. A classic coming-of-age story from the 1970s finally found its way to the screen, and 2023 also served up yet another delightful adaptation of an Agatha Christie novel.
The following films represent my personal favorites of 2023. These films, from a wide range of genres, mesmerized me and reminded audiences of the magic of movies.

When it was released in 2007, the music biopic parody Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story was tragically overlooked, bombing at the box office. But, in the 16 years since then, the film — written by Judd Apatow and director Jake Kasdan — has evolved into a cult classic. John C. Reilly starred as the title character, a rock star who becomes a stylistic chameleon over the course of his 50-year career. All of those changes resulted in Reilly singing a wide variety of songs for the film and its soundtrack. Was it difficult for Reilly to adapt to all of those types of songs? When the film was released, Reilly told us it was what he was born to do. (Click on the media bar below to hear John C. Reilly) https://www.hollywoodoutbreak.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/John_C_Reilly_Walk_The_Line_.mp3

It's easy to forget that a lot of people have died during the five-and-a-half seasons of "Yellowstone." Most character deaths are reserved for the villains who dare to go toe-to-toe with the Dutton family. Dan Jenkins (Danny Huston) made the mistake of trying to build a casino near the ranch only to get dispatched by the Beck brothers, and Roarke Morris (Josh Holloway) dies horribly after Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) hurls a rattlesnake in his face. That's not exactly the ideal cowboy death that Emmet Walsh (Buck Taylor) receives leading up to the mid-series finale of season five.
It's no wonder, then, that the performers playing the lead characters were wondering how long they would last on Paramount Network's smash hit series. Granted, the actors on "Yellowstone" had a little more job security than every single cast member of "The Walking Dead," but not much.
Arguably, the ungovernable Beth...

It’s going to be a crawl to Thursday’s “Big Brother 25” finale because there isn’t much going on right now.
Part 2 of the final Hoh was not played Monday, which is probably not that surprising since Jag, Matt and Bowie didn’t get to bed until close to dawn. Jag and Bowie will likely face off Tuesday for the right to face Matt in Part 3 on Thursday.

"Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" usually tops lists of the best Will Ferrell movies, but for many, the silly, raucous classic that is "Step Brothers" is simply unbeatable. The tale of 40-year-old man-children Brennan Huff (Ferrell) and Dale Doback (John C. Reilly) struggling to get along after their parents marry and move in together solidified its two stars as the perfect pairing. Ferrell and Reilly had worked together on "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" but it was 2008's "Step Brothers" that truly tapped into their shared talent for sheer buffoonery.
There are other movies like "Step Brothers" but none quite manage the absolute stupidity of two 40-year-old men living with their parents and acting like spoiled 14-year-old brats. With Adam McKay directing and co-writing, the film was in good hands from the outset, especially since the man behind most of the best early-2000s comedies, Judd Apatow,...

Kenneth Branagh is back for this third — and by TheWrap’s account, best — appearance as Agatha Christie’s detective Hercule Poirot in “A Haunting in Venice.” He also directs the spooky mystery, which boasts a terrific lineup of murder suspects (and potential victims), including Michelle Yeoh, Tina Fey, Jamie Dornan and Kelly Reilly.
Here’s who plays which character in the film based on Christie’s 1969 novel “Hallowe’en Party” — and where you might have seen the less familiar names before.
“A Haunting in Venice” is now streaming on Disney+.

British actor Kenneth Branagh reprises his role as the fussy Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot, whom he previously played in the recent remakes “Murder on the Orient Express” and “Death on the Nile.” The film begins in 1947 with Poirot retired from sleuthing and leading a quiet life in Venice — until he’s dragged into a new case.

Will Ferrell reunited with his Step Brothers co-star John C. Reilly over the weekend to bring the 2008 comedy to life with an assist from Snoop Dogg. The three joined forces at Ferrell’s “Best Night of Your Life 2” benefit show on October 21st at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre to perform “Boats ‘N Hoes” from the movie and Snoop’s own classic “Gin and Juice.”
Ferrell and Reilly stepped back into their roles as Brennan Huff and Dale Doback, respectively, by donning matching white suits like the ones they wore in the music video for “Boats ‘N Hoes,” which their characters showed during a dinner party to pitch their entertainment company Prestige Worldwide. In the movie, the clip proves to be a temporary setback for the step brothers turned best friends, but on Saturday night, the performance was nothing but smiles.

It was a Step Brothers reunion over the weekend, as Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly joined Snoop Dogg on stage to sing the bonafide classic “Boats ‘n Hoes”, which was robbed of an Oscar nomination we tell ya!
To celebrate Snoop Dogg’s 52nd birthday at the Best Night of Your Life 2 benefit show, Ferrell and Reilly got on stage at Los Angeles’ Greek Theater in outfits similar to those they wore in the “Boats ‘n Hoes” video, prompting a major audience reaction, as can be seen in a video posted on TMZ. 52 isn’t normally a big-bash sort of birthday, but it’s Snoop Dogg, so every day is an occasion to party. And if you can bring back the team of Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly – who haven’t appeared in a movie together since 2018’s Holmes & Watson – all the better. Snoop Dogg even showed off his cake,...

"Yellowstone" season 5 will be the last we'll see of the Dutton family in its current form. The series, part of the prolific Taylor Sheridan's cowboy-verse that includes "1883," "1923," and the upcoming "Lawman: Bass Reeves," is coming to an end. That means fans will likely have to say goodbye to one of their favorite characters, Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly).
Beth Dutton is the daughter of John Dutton III (Kevin Costner), who runs the Yellowstone ranch in Montana. She had a rough time as a child, watching her difficult mother die in front of her. Now she's a financier, protector of her father, and in a relationship with ranch foreman Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser).
That on-again off-again romance between Beth and Rip was the backdrop to a scene in season 1, episode 2, "Kill the Messenger," which looked pretty scary to the audience and was especially intense for Reilly as well. The production...

This article contains plot recap and minor spoilers regarding Yellowstone.
Hard to believe that now, with the writer’s strike resolved, audiences are one step closer to the long-awaited final episodes of Yellowstone being produced. Five years ago, the success story which would give birth to the Taylor Sheridan TV empire hit audiences like a snake pouncing from a cooler.
The show has been a great juxtaposition of soap opera romances, betrayals, and family drama coupled with rugged, country-fried savagery. Yet now that the show is making its network debut on CBS, the uncensored violence and colorful bunkhouse language that is such a memorable part of the show has to be muted.
Yet, this writer would argue … that was never the strength of the show.
Many fans within the Yellowstone community feel as if a censored version of the show is a betrayal to the true flavor of the brand.

With the recent cancellation of “Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty” after just two seasons, HBO has left the Los Angeles Lakers off on a historic loss. “Winning Time” Season 1 ended with the Lakers’ 1980 NBA Championship; Season 2 zoomed through their 1982 win and ended (now awkwardly) with the team’s crushing ’84 loss to the Boston Celtics.
And that will be that for “Winning Time” — there will be no rematch with the Celtics in ’85, which is when the Lakers finally defeated their rivals in the NBA Finals. There will be no repeat result in ’87 (the Celts defeated the Houston Rockets to win again in 1986), when Magic Johnson won the rubber series against Larry Bird. And there will definitely be no coup de grace in 1988, which cemented the Lakers as the team of the ’80s.

It was a twist ending fans of “Winning Time” certainly didn’t appreciate.
While it was promoted as the season finale on social media, the HBO series about the Los Angeles Lakers’ ‘80s dynasty ended its run on Sunday night, with a final episode that detailed the Lakers’ crushing loss to the Boston Celtics in the 1984 NBA Finals and then featured an epilogue focused on all the future successes the show won’t dramatize for series television. Shortly after the finale ended, it was revealed HBO had canceled “Winning Time” after two seasons.
The epilogue, which noted that the Lakers defeated their archrival in 1985 and then again in 1987, was preceded by a scene featuring Dr. Jerry Buss (John C. Reilly) and his daughter, Jeannie Buss (Hadley Robinson), where the elder Buss consoled the youngster that everything would work out despite the finals defeat because, in part, “we fucking own this.

Murder mysteries, particularly those of the Agatha Christie variety, tend to be feasts for actors, affording them the chance to play colorful, eccentric, and often more than a little bit sleazy characters who may or may not like to dabble in homicide on the side. Such was the case with director Kenneth Branagh's first two films in his Hercule Poirot cinematic universe, "Murder on the Orient Express" and "Death on the Nile." For his third go at adapting Christie's super-sleuth for the big screen, "A Haunting in Venice," Branagh has once again surrounded himself (and his ginormous curly mustache) as Poirot with a cast that represents the cream of the crop when it comes to character actors working today.
"A Haunting in Venice" (you can read /Film's review here) adapts one of Christie's lesser-known Poirot novels, "Hallowe'en Party," in order to put something of a horror-tinged spin on your average Poirot adventure.
