Sony’s unveiling of the first extended gameplay for Insomniac’s Spider-Man back in June saved what was an otherwise unremarkable showing for the PlayStation 4 at this year’s E3. Even taking into account that new footage for other exclusives like Naughty Dog’s Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and zombie survivor Days Gone squeezed cheers out of the audience, it was Marvel’s iconic web-slinger that stole the show.
The spandex-clad superhero swinging into view was a definite highlight of not just Sony’s show, but the entirety of E3, and we’ve been eagerly awaiting more details for Peter Parker’s next video game adventure ever since. Thankfully, Insomniac has seemingly heard our prayers, as a newly released featurette gives us just that.
Spider-Man art director Jacinda Chew and creative director Bryan Intihar are on-hand in the video to talk about their experiences with creating a believable world for Parker and his superpowered alter-ego,...

During Sony's PlayStation E3 presentation, Marvel showed off almost 9-minutes of gameplay footage from their new Spider-Man game and it's wicked awesome! This looks like the ultimate Spider-Man game that fans of the character are going to love!
The demo features Spider-Man reluctantly helping Wilson Fisk as he embarks on a mission saving members of Fisk's organization from a new deadly gang in town. It turns out that this new gang is run by Martin Li a.k.a. Mr. Negative and to make things worse for Spider-Man, Aunt May is employed by the villain.
This game looks like so much fun! The style, design, and graphics are all great and I especially love how fluid the gameplay is. I can't wait to play this thing!

From Sideshow Collectibles: “Developed and manufactured in partnership with Prime 1 Studio, we are proud to present Anti-Venom. Eddie Brock was debonded from the Venom symbiote, traces of it were left in his body. Later, suffering from cancer, Brock started working as a volunteer in the F.E.A.S.T. Center. Martin Li, the alter-ego of Mr. Negative, and founder of F.E.A.S.T. used his powers to cure Eddie’s cancer. In the process, he accidentally infused the remnants of the symbiote in Eddie’s bloodstream with his power and fused them to his white blood cells,...
