Road House, starring Jake Gyllenhaal in the lead role, is a reboot of the 1989 Patrick Swayze film of the same name. Helmed by Doug Liman, the story has been written by Anthony Bagarozzi and Chuck Mondry.
Standout performances by Gyllenhaal, and Conor McGregor, the former UFC champion, and positive word of mouth have roused the interest of the audience. Additionally, the music and film score have also become one of the biggest talking points since the film was released recently.

The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Elwood Dalton, a former UFC champion. He easily sinks into the role that Patrick Swayze played in the original. Reboots can be a hit or a miss in most cases, but in this case, it lands firmly on the side of the former.

Fox will follow NBC in presenting its fall lineup tomorrow. But unlike the peacock network, which is overhauling its schedule with four nights of comedies, Fox is not expected to make drastic changes. The network would not comment, but I hear that it will stick to its plan to launch an all-comedy Tuesday night with Raising Hope, Ben & Kate, New Girl and Mindy Kaling’s It’s Messy. Glee, which anchored the Tuesday comedy block for the last two years, is rumored to be relocating to Thursday after X Factor. In its sophomore season, Kiefer Sutherland’s Touch may join Fringe on Fridays for a sci-fi-themed night, while new medical drama The Mob Doc drama looks Monday-bound, inheriting the night of Fox’s veteran medical drama House and possibly airing with Bones. As expected, given its 15-episode-a-season order, I hear Fox is holding back its highest-profile new series, the Kevin Bacon...

Because "The X Factor" takes up so much time on Fox's fall schedule, and because the Sunday animation block doesn't really change from year to year, the network doesn't have a ton of room to place new shows or otherwise make over its lineup. But we have a feeling the network is going to do just that this year.
Throughout pilot season, we've heard talk about how Fox wants to expand its live-action comedy roster, with Tuesday nights -- already home to "New Girl" and "Raising Hope" -- being the most likely place for a full night of half-hour shows. Our proposed schedule reflects that, pairing the two returning shows with a pair of newbies.
That means "Glee" could be headed for a new night, and in the world where we run Fox, a new part of the season as well. A logical spot for it in the fall would...

Fox is shaping up its 2012-2013 TV season slate, and we now know, we'll get a Season 2 of "Touch" and saying goodbye to "Alcatraz" and "The Finder," which have both been canceled.
Fox has picked up "Touch" for a second season after the series, which centers on a father (Kiefer Sutherland) whose son can see events of the past, present, and future, but is completely mute, performed well in the ratings.
"Alcatraz" and "The Finder," on the other hand, didn't fare quite as well. While "Alcatraz" saw high ratings initially, the show about the San Francisco prison starring Sarah Jones and Jorge Garcia plummeted in viewership during its 10-week run.
The "Bones" spinoff "The Finder," starring Geoff Stults, didn't have much luck to begin with. The procedural had quite a bit of competition in its 9 p.m. time slot on Thursdays, going up against "Grey's Anatomy" and "The Office."
Fox has already greenlit "American Dad,...
