- Based at Hermosa Beach, California Pennywise is a modern day Bob Dylan. They voice many causes and back many worthy charities. Consisting of vocalist Jim Lindberg, guitarist Fletcher Dragge, bassist Randy Bradbury and drummer Byron McMackin. Former bassist Jason Thirsk died in 1996 causing much tragedy in the scene and putting the bands future in question. But they persisted and have held their place as one of the worlds leading punk acts. Released the albums 'Word From The Wise/Wildcard' (1989), 'Pennywise' (1991), 'Unknown Road' (1993), 'About Time' (1995), 'Full Circle' (1997), 'Straight Ahead' (1999) 'Live at the Key' (2000), 'Land of the Free?'
