Spoiler Alert: This article contains details of tonight’s “Family” episode of The Walking Dead, the penultimate episode of the series.
“For the longest time, we were just fighting to survive,” declares Judith Grimes (Cailey Fleming) in a voiceover that kicks off tonight’s “Family,” the penultimate episode of The Walking Dead.
“Trying to get back what we lost,” the daughter of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) continues over a montage of zombie killings from the AMC’s series 11 seasons, and some throwback music from pivotal episodes. “My family, we would do anything to protect each other. And we’re fighting now for something else, something bigger. A new beginning.”
Penned by Magali Lozano & Erik Mountain & Kevin Deiboldt, and directed by Sharat Raju, this 176th episode of the zombie apocalypse show based on Robert Kirkman’s now concluded comics shows Twd still knows how to deliver an annihilating gut punch. As...

The Walking Dead Season 10 Episode 17
The Walking Dead is not a show that can be described as “free from issues.” Since the very first season, the series has made a habit of introducing a group, only for that group to self-destruct, disappear, or die, either on screen in the case of the prisoners from season three’s West Georgia Correctional Facility, or off-screen in the case of the eponymous Vatos from season one’s “Vatos.” A group shows up, and typically, they die in short order. Maggie’s group of hardened survivor pals is no different. A few will stick around, but for the most part, most of them are just waiting to go from their first appearance on screen.
Of course, as it usually it, it’s in service of a bigger, badder enemy. This one seems to have it out personally...

The Walking Dead Season 10 Episode 15
Here in the United States, I’ve been working from home for three weeks. I’ve gone to grocery stores and to pick up take-out meals, usually about once a week, but except for those few limited escapes and the occasional walk around my neighborhood (keeping appropriate social distance), I’ve been inside. I work, hang out, then I go to bed within the same four walls. Even for someone like me, who loves canceling plans and staying home, it’s getting to be a bit much, so I completely understand just why Princess (Paola Lazaro) makes such an immediate, aggressive attempt to make friends with Ezekiel, Eugene, and Yumiko. She’s lonely, she’s been talking to no one but the walkers she’s used to make dioramas, and humans are social creatures by default.
No one’s built for solitude.

[The following story contains spoilers for season 10, episode 15 of AMC's The Walking Dead, "The Tower."]
And that's a wrap on The Walking Dead season ten — for now, at least.
From director Laura Belsey and writers Kevin Deiboldt and Julia Ruchman, "The Tower" was originally (and technically still) designed to serve as the penultimate episode of the AMC zombie drama's tenth season. Instead, it's the last episode for the foreseeable future, as the global pandemic has made it impossible to complete post-production on the season finale in time.
The result: "The Tower,...

Copper's second season continues to layer storyline upon storyline. Here's Kylie's review of The Fine Ould Irish Gintleman...
This review contains spoilers.
2.10 The Fine Ould Irish Gintleman
All of Copper’s recent episodes have been a little bit Ad; they jump from one character and plot point to another without a clear unifying theme. This week, we’ve got sleazy Donovan shutting down Eva’s Paradise, Hattie learning the truth about her sons, Corcoran launching an investigation against sleazy Donovan, Elizabeth spiraling further into addiction, sleazy Donovan plotting the death of Theresa…. Okay, maybe sleazy Donovan is this week’s theme. The packed episode flies by, but it makes you wonder what it’s building up toward for the season conclusion. (I suppose it will involve sleazy Donovan.)
Some good news: somebody’s finally doing something about Donovan and his much-hinted-at depravity. Corcoran...
