God of War series is very popular and known for its amazing combat and iconic main protagonist, Kratos. Thus, when in God of War 3’s ending sequence, he impaled himself with the Blade of Olympus, fans were left with numerous questions.
After his relentless pursuit of vengeance against the gods of Olympus for 3 games, he finally achieved his goal of killing Zeus and ending his reign but that came at a cost of his own life. Players have been discussing this ever since.

On Thursday, Sony’s State of Play livestream teased out all the company’s gaming plans for the rest of 2024.
It was mostly a letdown.
Outside of a few updates on remakes like Silent Hill 2, remasters like Until Dawn, and a PC port of God of War: Ragnarök, there were only a handful of new games to show off, the biggest of which was Firewalk Studios’ Concord, a new multiplayer shooter whose CGI-only trailer failed to show players much gameplay, leaving audiences mostly confused as to what the game really is.

God of War Ragnarok was a sequel to the hit 2018 reboot. The game was launched for the PS4 and the PS5 in 2022. During Sony’s 2024 State of Play Showcase, the game has also been confirmed to launch on PC.
The showcase began with the announcement and a reveal of Concord, an upcoming live-service first-person hero shooter; neither title stood out in the showcase lineup. The clear winner in the lineup was Ballad of Antara, which certainly seems promising.
God of War Ragnarok’s PC Port Overshadowed by Ballad of Antara The game is being developed by Tipsworks Studio and will be published by Infold Games.
One of the announcements made during the State of Play 2024 broadcast was that Ragnarok was coming to PC in September. The showcase was mostly underwhelming for fans as they there weren’t any announcements made by Sony, probably because the PS5 is in the later stage of its lifecycle.

PlayStation’s State of Play has come and gone, and it has brought with it plenty of announcements to enjoy, one of which is the fact that God of War Ragnarok is coming to PCs. This isn’t the first game from PlayStation’s exclusive catalogue to make its way onto PCs, and from what we can see, it won’t be the last.
However, the last PC port that came from PlayStation sadly wasn’t received very well by the PC community, but now that Sony has learned from its errors, it is safe to say that this PC port is something to look forward to if you are a fan of the God of War franchise.

Thor’s portrayal in “God of War: Ragnarök” is one of a strong and complex enemy tied to the main plot of the game. His battles with Kratos are not just physical contests but also pivotal moments that drive the story forward and develop Kratos’ character.
The rematch they have at the climax of the story in the game changes how players perceive Kratos. Their second encounter highlights Kratos’ enduring strength, strategic mind, and capacity for mercy, which redefine his identity as the God of War.

The God of War franchise has established itself as one of Sony’s flagship series since its debut in the mid-2000s. The series allows players to embody Kratos, a Spartan warrior whose tragic past and unquenchable rage drive him to challenge the gods themselves.
From the PlayStation 2 to modern consoles, each installment offers a unique experience. The franchise has also had its share of highs and lows over the years. Let’s look at how each game in the series stacks up, from the least impressive to the pinnacle of Kratos’ adventures.

Cory Barlog remains a monumental figure for those who happen to be fans of the God of War video game series. As expected, the franchise’s lead director had a lot to experience from his time at Sony, and other sources as he once left the studio to go out and learn more out of his comfort zone.

Elden Ring‘s vast and treacherous world offers numerous challenges for players to overcome in return for glorious rewards. Among these is the bizarre Great Jar, a colossal stationary jar guarding a ruined castle in the poison-laced Caelid region.
This jar offers up a challenge where the player has to defeat three knights consecutively without leaving the area of backing out to a Site of Grace. It’s quite tough, but one player has figured out an ingenious loophole to “cheese” the challenge effortlessly.

PlayStation has massively grown its PC portfolio after committing to the platform in 2019, and while it did stumble along the way, like with the recent Helldivers 2 Psn debacle, the company has seen a great deal of success from its double-dip launches.
Back in 2022, PlayStation Studios boss Hermen Hulst confirmed that they will release live-service games day and date on PC, which is sensible, and big singleplayer titles will be spaced out to at least two years between their PS5 and PC launches. However, a recent rumor suggests this may have changed.

It’s a known fact that Santa Monica’s God of War Ragnarok, the sequel to the record-breaking reboot, God of War is one of the most praised games that has hit the shelves in the last couple of years. The title brings engaging gameplay, a compelling narrative, and memorable characters. The game earned so much appreciation that it was a contender for the 2022 Game of the Year award.
In the last couple of years, we’ve seen Sony making a habit of porting its biggest exclusive titles to PC. Elden Ring puts forth a lot of mysteries for players to deduce in FromSoftware’s typical cryptic storytelling fashion, and the colossal Fire Giant, who has an eye in his torso for some reason, is one of these mysteries. The Surtr-inspired boss is apparently the last of the giants after the war against them, but beyond this, their lineage isn’t expanded on much.
However, the game also hints at a far more ancient and somehow even larger breed of giants, with their remnants scattered chillingly across the Mountaintops of the Giants. The lore doesn’t explain how they ended up there, and we’ll likely never get to fight them, even in Shadow of the Erdtree.
The Giants Were Of Unbelievably Massive Stature

God of War is one of the oldest and most successful PlayStation first-party franchises. Gamers everywhere are pretty much aware of how legendary this franchise is, even if they haven’t played one of these games. This franchise spans eight mainline installments that were released on major consoles and one very small game that was launched on mobile devices.
Besides releasing on various console generations, these games have gone through a number of directors. The franchise started with its creator, David Jaffe, then was taken over by Stig Asmussen, who worked on Gow 3. Finally, the franchise went to Cory Barlog, who gave it a soft reboot with God of War 2018. But David Jaffe is not very happy with the latest game, God of War: Ragnarok.

The first God Of War game which came out in 2005, was unique from other action-adventure games of its time. It was the brainchild of David Jaffe, who focused on making the game stand out with its combat, story, and visuals. Since then, the game that came on the PS2 has been a fan favorite.

Modern machines like the PlayStation 5 thrive on the idea that modern-day gaming needs to look, feel, and transcend our understanding of gaming. Unfortunately, it’s all too often that video games today cannot even keep up with classics that were released decades ago.

The impact of Young Kratos from the God of War series sort of faded following the 2018 installment of the game. However, he didn’t just became famous in the GoW universe, but Mortal Kombat is responsible for making him popular as well. As feared as he is, and as much as the gods may want to kill him, they also respect him, as was seen during his first appearance in the franchise’ soft reboot.
The character has been praised by critics who have loved his attitude and the storyline of the God of War games. Although there has been very little information concerning the upcoming season, there have been several leaks, which indicate the direction of Fortnite. The theme of the coming update appears to be mythology, as reports have suggested that Chapter 5 Season 2 is codenamed Odyssey.
Even though nothing official has been announced, it is also believed that the next season will begin on March 8, 2024.

Elden Ring and God of War: Ragnarok are two vastly popular action video games that are great in their own way. One is a role-playing game with a massive open world to explore and hard-as-nails enemies to fight. The other is an action-adventure fantasy title with a very cinematic story. One tells its story through its environments and item descriptions, while the other employs the old-school way of letting the characters sing their song.
Both of these games have their own share of incredible bosses for gamers to face. Where God of War: Ragnarok has the likes of Odin, Heimdall, and Thor, Elden Ring has Morgott, Astrel, Radagon, Radahn, and, of course, Malenia. One must wonder: What happens if these bosses fight each other? Who would win? Well, someone seems to have found the answer to that.
Thor from God of War vs. Malenia from Elden Ring, who would win?...

God of War: Ragnarok is an incredibly well-made game. Its story surely leaves fans desiring more, but its gameplay, level design, visuals, and music make up for it. Something that brings this game to the top, though, is its characters and the actors playing them. From Kratos to Odin, every character in God of War is played with excellence.
The evidence lies in the fact that Christopher Judge, the incredible actor behind God of War, himself won the Best Actor award during the Game Awards ceremony. What’s even better is that he got this award from none other than Al Pacino. But it looks like he wasn’t always open about working on such a project before.
Christopher Judge would not have played Kratos in God of War if things were different
A still from God of War: Ragnarok
Every actor in Hollywood is looking for his or her chance.
