- (1988) Malik Jubal is the greatest Teddy Pendergrass Impersonator in the world and has performed as Pendergrass in The Legends of Soul theatrical tour.
- (1990) Malik Jubal was one of the audience warm-up comedians that performed for Nelson Mandela in Los Angeles at a sold-out rally for freedom at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The show included The Babylon Warriors, Ice T, Tone Loc, Kris Kristofferson.
- (2020) Malik Jubal portrayed Persuasions lead singer Jerry Lawson in the touring musical stage production of We Came To Play.
- (1987) Malik Jubal was recruited by Robert Fastblack Williams, to sing with the r&b soul group Benny Sharp and The Sharpees with two other original members, Stacy Johnson and Vernon Guy. They had 2 seminal hits "Do the 45, and " I Like It", the latter, written by Sharp ,Johnson. Williams was the first black performer to sing live in a Pepsi-Cola TV commercial, which stared NFL Green Bay Packers Quarterback Bart Starr.
