Match #1: Fallon Henley def. Thea Hail The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Fallon Henley punched her ticket to Nxt Battleground by defeating her former friend Thea Hail, thanks to an unintentional assist from Chase U ally Ridge Holland. Hail had the upper hand and a frustrated Henley slid out of the ring and grabbed a chair, only to be thwarted by Holland. The Nxt official was unaware that it was Henley that introduced the weapon, and promptly ejected Holland as well as all of Chase U. Hail managed to rally without her teammates, but Henley managed to knock her around the ring before hitting a Shining Wizard to punctuate her win. After the match, Jacy Jayne’s friend Jazmyn Nyx attacked the helpless Hail.

Match #1: Wes Lee def. Josh Briggs The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The King of the West Side is back in Nxt as Wes Lee made his triumphant return to action against the big and bad Josh Briggs. Lee didn’t miss a beat in his return using his athleticism and his speed to disorient the much bigger Briggs, but he still took a couple of major hits from his bruising opponent. Briggs focused his attention on Lee’s back while Ivar made his way to commentary, but Lee dug deep and refused to give in. The former dominant North American Champion finally regained control before hitting a corkscrew moonsault and earning the win in his return.

The Nxt Women’s Championship remains with “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez as the champion retained her title in impressive fashion against both Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley in a Triple Threat Match. The bad blood between former friends Valkyria and Paxley sparked a major battle between the two to begin the match, all while the champion looked on and smiled. Once Perez entered the fray, the action became chaotic as all three Superstars threw caution to the wind, punctuated by the demented Paxley tossing both of her opponents hard to the ringside area.

Match #1: Kiana James & Izzi Dame def. Fallon Henley & Kelani Jordan The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Fallon Henley and Kelani Jordan paired up once again to take on the conniving Kiana James and Izzi Dame in tag team action after the four Superstars clashed at Stand & Deliver. Henley and Jordan rode that momentum from Saturday afternoon early on, but the size and strength of Dame flipped the script and allowed herself and Kiana to gain full control. Jordan ended up finding herself in the cross hairs of Dame, but Henley saved her from a big boot, however it allowed James to hit 401K to score the victory for her team.

The tough farm girl gave Stratton a fight, but the Blonde Bombshell targeted the already injured knee of Henley and delivered a Prettiest Moonsault Ever to secure the victory.
Match #1: Nxt Heritage Cup Championship – Noam Dar def. Akira Tozawa The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Nxt Heritage Cup remains with Noam Dar, but not before a five-round battle with Akira Tozawa. Tozawa pushed Dar to his limit, but the Meta-Four helped the champion retain his cup, punctuated by a Novaroller.

Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt, right here on Nerdly. This is week two of the Halloween Havoc special(s), so let’s get straight into it and see what went down in this episode…
Match #1: Tables, Ladders, and Scares Match – The Creed Brothers def. Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Julius and Brutus Creed put on a show for the Nxt Universe as they defeated Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo in a wacky and wild Tables, Ladders, and Scares Match. All four competitors wore the wounds of war all over their bodies, but in the end a Super Brutus Ball through two tables was enough to give The Creeds the victory.
My Score: 4 out of 5 Match #2: Tiffany Stratton vs. Fallon Henley The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

Welcome to this review of the very first episode of Nxt: Lvl Up, which is 205 Live’s replacement Without Vince and co. officially ending the run of the purple brand. with a short run time. Speaking of which, we haven’t reviewed an episode of 205 Live since May 2021, which was actually an early example of the Lvl Up concept – new talent wrestling vets in matches that make them “level up” their skills… Makes sense. Let’s see how long WWE stick to it!
Match #1: Harland def. Javier Bernal The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Javier Bernal and Harland had the distinct honor of competing in the first match in Nxt Level Up history, but not before Joe Gacy proclaimed himself an “Agent of Change,” vowed that everyone will be welcome on WWE’s newest brand and promised that the ring would be used to resolve any conflict. Welcome to this weeeks review of Aew DarK: Elevation the first of Four Aew programs this week – and look out for reviews of them all going forward. Let’s keep this review as shoirt and sweet as this weeks Elevation and get right into it!
Match #1: Red Velvet def. Renee Michelle
My Thoughts: Good god this was brief. Michelle got in some early offence, jumping Red Velvet before th bell. But this one was over before it began in all honesty.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Capt. Shawn Dead def. Peter Avalon
My Thoughts: Wow. The Captain got a win here. I was honestly not expecting that… at all. This match was another super-fast effort, with Dean getting the pin before a minute was even up! Can we expect a push for the Captain going forward? I cerainly hope so.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #3: Hikaru Shida def.

Welcome to Nerdly, I’m Phil and this is a revbiew of this week’s Aew Dark: Elevation, the seventeenth episode of Aew’s third “TV” show… Can we call YouTube TV? If a show is produced by a TV production to stream online, is it still TV? Blaaaagh… I’m going off on a tangent. Whatever. Let’s just get on with this review!
Match #1: Thunder Rosa def. Leila Grey
My Thoughts: The second week in a row, if memory serves, that Thunder Rosa has legitimately squashed an opponent rather than the usual “let the opponent get in some offense and look good before being squashed” routine… Much like Britt Baker and Nyal Rose, it looks like Rosa is winning squash matches fast to rack up the wins for Aew’s rankings.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Scorpio Sky def. Marcus Kross
My Thoughts: The say any publicity,...

Welcome to this weeks 90+ minutes of action (thats what it says on YouTube) on Aew: Dark. I don’t know what to expect this week given that Aew: Dynamite is moving to Friday nights for the forseeable – do we get more of the same, or can we expect some changes given the sweeping changes coming to Aew’s future? let’s find out…
Match #1: Nick Comoroto def. Duke Davis
My Thoughts: This match was over faster than the blink of an eye. Yet again Comoroto’s entrance, and the messing around with the ring steps, was longer than the actual match. What a waste of Comororto’s talent.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Aaron Solow def. Ganon Jones
My Thoughts: This match was almost over as quick as Solow’s Nightmare Factory team mates. The only hihgliht here was Taz’s rib on commentary that he’d mever seen a pedigree before!

Welcome to this weeks review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the seventh episode of a show that has, honestly, varied wildy in quality… and length. Let’s see shat this weeks episode has to offer!
Match #1: Ray Fenix def. Chuck Taylor
My Thoughts: Ray Fenix is bloody good isn’t he? Somehow he seems to pull out new moves almost each and every week. Here it was a nasty leg/rope tie up on Chuck Taylor that looked really aggressive – as was a lot of this match. This was very much mat and submission wrestling rather than high-flying crazy stuff, yet with just enough flair to make this a “Ray Fenix” match. Gotta love the recent addition of Alex Abrahantes on the mic for Penta and Fenix too!
My Score: 3.5 out of 5 Match #2: Ryan Nemeth def. Ryzin
My Thoughts: Fresh of his engorged member escapades on Being the Elite,...

Welcome to this weeks episode of Aew Dark: Elevation, Aew’s third “programme” of wrestling (but not the extra TV programme we’re still due on TNT apparently) that so far hasn’t done much to elevate it (pun intended) apart from its namesake on Tuesday nights… Though given the recent set of releases elsewhere, Aew made need this extra show to fit in all the new wrestlers they’ll likely pick up!
Match #1: Hangman Page def. Spencer Slade
My Thoughts: A squash if ever I saw one, this at lest gave us more of Spencer Slade, who last week was the butt of a joke about the headgear from the Aew commentary team but who, this week, I learned wears the headgear because he’s deaf. Remarkable that Slade has found a way to do what he loves; honestly inspiring Imho.

After last week’s successful outing for Aew Dark: Elevation, and the fact it looks like Aew have cut down on the sheer number of matches on this week’s episode meaning this weeks episode is a lot shorter than the 2+ hours of episode three, I thought we’d revisit Aew Dark: Elevation and see how the latest episode fares… With that said, let’s get to it!
Match #1: Adam Page def. Bill Collier
My Thoughts: Bill Collier puts in another great showing, though he did still look a bit green – waiting for the odd move from Hangman Page and he looked mis-positioned for Page’s Buckshot… Still its only his second match in Aew. And you have to love Page handing Collier a beer after the match!
My score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Varsity Blondes def. Dean Alexander & Carlie Bravo
My Thoughts: A fairly even pairing between these two teams,...

Welcome to the first review of Aew Dark: Elevation here on Nerdly. The first you say? But this is episode 3, how can this be the first review? Well, if I’m honest, I thought the first episode of Elevation was so bad I actually turned it off before the end of the show… bad as in it just felt like a retread of Dark; there was nothing – in my opinion – to distinguish it from Aew’s other YouTube show. So, with a sour taste in my mouth from the debut episode, I also skipped episode 2 last week. I didn’t even watch it. But you know, Aew fan boy that I am I had to give Elevation another go… Which leads us to this review!
Match #1: Orange Cassidy & Chuck Taylor def. Jd Drake & Ryan Nemeth

We’ve got an extra pre-Revolution episode of Aew: Dark this week – ninty minutes of PPV teases and matches that (I suspect) will make no sense follwing the PPV… Anyone else think the same? Everytime there’s a “game-changing” Aew pay per view it seems we get an extra Dark. Now is that as a lead in for the PPV or… as I suspect… are they burning off pre-taped matches that will be effected by the outcome of said PPV? Whatever the case its more Aew in a week and I’m here for it!
Match #1: The Natural Nightmares def. Peter Avalon and Cesar Bononi
Bononi got to showcase his strength in this match, even if it ran a mere (and swift) four plus minutes. Nothing really stood out in this opener making this a very cool start to a Dark that should’ve been hot from the get-go.

Welcome to this week’s Aew Dynamite review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and f— Aew Dark. It has too many matches. It’s driving me insane! So, to that end, we’re just gonna put a brief run-down of Dark at the beginning of each Dynamite review, so I don’t have to review a thousand squash matches a week. I F—— Hate Squash Matches!!!!!!! Charlie Bucket got squashed by the Great Glass Wonkavator. Finally…a squash I like! F— Yeaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!! Dorothy Gale was a little whore and we have the wonderful New Year’s Smash Night 2 to usher in 2021 with…Darby Allin? S—. Well, at least he gives me a boner. Alright, let’s begin this new era of Dynamite reviews by doing no work and skipping it for the week. Adios, amigo!

I’m Nathan Favel and Wurld Nues/Neus/what-ever their name was, got shut down for bad spelling, so we’re moving over to Wrestling Nightly, hosted by Brad Britch. Welcome to this week’s All Elite Wrestling: Dark review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and it’s been a little while since I reviewed Dark, because the match amount and weekly length of the show was becoming very difficult to deal with as the rest of the usual wrestling shows were coming back and yada yada yada. In an effort to retain my sanity, I’m gonna start reviewing Aew Dark a bit differently. Since they just keep loading this show with squash matches, I’m going to stop reviewing this show per match and instead just make comments about the best performances of the wrestlers themselves. My apologies to those that want an individual match review per show, but I don’t wanna start to hate this show and reviewing a show that has a weekly card that is in excess of twenty or so matches…...
