Valery Gergiev was born on May 2, 1953 in Moscow, RSFSR, USSR [now Russia]. He is an actor, known for To the Wonder (2012), K-19: The Widowmaker (2002) and Holidays (2016). He has been married to Natalya Dzebisova since 1999. They have three children.
He is the most widely acclaimed Russian conductor working today (c.
2000 -).
