Oops -- Eve had a major foot-in-mouth scenario on Wednesday (Sept. 11) when she accidentally confirmed that Gwen Stefani is pregnant with her third child in an interview slip-up.
During an interview with Live Nation, rapper Eve called Stefani "preggers" when she was asked about a possible guest appearance with her "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" collaborator at an upcoming New York performance. "Well she's preggers! She's chilling," Eve says.
Despite Eve's confirmation and multiple sources revealing Stefani is indeed pregnant, her rep has yet to release a statement ... though these baby bump photos are confirmation enough that Stefani, 43, is expecting once again with husband Gavin Rossdale, 47.
This is exciting news for Stefani and Rossdale, since last September Stefani told Marie Claire that they had tried for a third child, but things didn't work out at the time. "I really, really, really wanted one about two years ago," she said. "And it didn't really work out.

Other winners include Timbaland (Producer of the Year), Robin Thicke (Breakthrough Artist of the Year), and Lil' Wayne, who was awarded Hip-Hop Artist of the Year, beating off stiff competition from Jay-Z and T.I. Rapper/actress Eve has spoken out about her recent drunk-driving arrest, dismissing the incident as "one of those things." The 28-year-old was formally charged with driving under the influence (DUI) earlier this month, after crashing her gold Maserati. She was arrested on the scene and later released from custody after posting $30,000 bail. But the star, real name Eve Jeffers, insists incidents like this are always magnified by the media, who prefer to focus on the "negative" aspects of her life instead of all her achievements. She tells MTV, "Things happen and this is the nature of the business I'm in. I just feel blessed and happy that all the good things completely outweigh anything negative in my life." Eve is due in court on May 17 to face the DUI charge and two other related offenses.

MGM's Barbershop 2: Back in Business should take more than just a little off the top of this weekend's boxoffice. The unexpected strength last weekend of You Got Served, from Screen Gems and Melee Entertainment, which bowed at No. 1 with $16.1 million, proved yet again that there is an eager core of black moviegoers and a wider circle of hip-hop fans ready to embrace movies aimed in their direction. Hoping to build on a similar audience -- and cross over to an even broader demographic -- Barbershop 2 should rule the roost this weekend. But, in this case, that shouldn't come as much of a surprise. The real surprise occurred in September 2002, when the original Barbershop, directed by Tim Story, jumped to the top of the heap with a $20.6 million debut and went on to collect a domestic gross of $75.8 million. Its PG-13 sequel -- with Kevin Rodney Sullivan (How Stella Got Her Groove Back) at the helm -- reassembles a cast that includes Ice Cube, Cedric the Entertainer, Eve and Troy Garity and also tosses in Queen Latifah for good measure.

The broadcast networks are starting to give their votes of confidence in the fall's new crop of primetime series. UPN has given a full-season order to two of its new comedies, the Will Smith- and Jada Pinkett Smith-produced All of Us as well as Eve, which features hip-hop diva Eve, both from Warner Bros. TV. The sitcoms are the first series to receive so-called back-nine pickups -- which fill out an initial 13-episode order to a full season's worth of 22 episodes -- since the formal start of the 2003-04 TV season Sept. 22. Last month, Fox also gave a full-season pickup to its teen drama The O.C., also from WBTV, which got a jump-start on the fall season by launching Aug. 5. While it has been a ho-hum season so far with no heat-seeking breakout hits along the lines of CBS' CSI: Miami last season, several freshman series look good to follow Eve, All of Us and The O.C. with full-season orders.

Rapper Eve has been hit with a breach of contract lawsuit for allegedly failing to pay her management company commission for big endorsement deals. The Barbershop star and her manager Troy Carter are among those who have had papers filed against them in the New York Supreme Court on June 27 by Wilhelmina Artist Management. According to the lawsuit, Eve entered into an exclusive two-year deal with Wilhelmina in May 2001 which allowed the company to represent her in the field of commercial marketing activities, which include modeling; runway; fashion; commercials; spokesperson deals; tour sponsorships; celebrity endorsements and product placement. The lawsuit alleges that Eve negotiated a side deal with Innovo Group executive Anthony Ottimo - who is also being sued - to launch her Fetish clothing line after Wilhelmina introduced the parties and initially negotiated a contract to have Eve endorse a variety of fashion items for TGG Enterprises Inc. In addition, the papers allege that Wilhelmina was never paid for negotiating contracts with Reebok and Candies Shoes, and that Eve attempted to sever ties with the company without paying its commissions. The specific amount of damages sought by Wilhelmina are not specified in the lawsuit.

The Queen of Reinvention Madonna has found another new venture to try out - rapping. The Material Girl is following in the footsteps of female MCs Missy Elliott and Eve by rhyming on her new album. Madonna is currently editing a list of songs down to just ten tracks, which will include a hardcore rap tune. A group of barbers and beauticians is suing civil rights leaders Reverend Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton - claiming their comments about the hit movie Barbershop drove away business. The National Association Of Cosmetologists (NAC) filed a lawsuit on Monday accusing the Reverend and Sharpton of intentional infliction of emotional distress, fraud, and negligence. In September the two politicians criticized the Ice Cube and Eve starring comedy, noting jokes in the film where Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks are mentioned in a negative light. Sharpton said, "I think that there are some things that go beyond humor. Martin Luther King died fighting for the freedom of all Americans. I don't think to disparage him, as a line in this movie does, is something that's funny. I don't think to say that Rosa Parks, who was arrested for sitting down in the front of the bus at that time causing a social revolution that led to desegregation, is something that is funny to me." The activists asked for the scenes to be removed for the film, MGM refused, leading to Sharpton threatening to boycott the box office hit. James Stern, chief executive of the of the NAC says, "By threatening to boycott MGM studios, they put a black eye to our subject matter of barbers and cosmetologists in the state of California." In response Sharpton labeled the allegations ridiculous, adding "Every movie critic would get sued. We haven't addressed their business. I addressed the film." Tracy Rice, spokeswoman for Jackson's Rainbow/Push coalition believes the suit will be thrown out of court. Rice remarks, "The First Amendment protects artistic expression, just as it protects Rev. But Lopez, who is now dating Paltrow's ex-boyfriend Ben Affleck was spared any awkward moments with the Shakespeare In Love star. While a demure Lopez, dressed in a low-key flared white miniskirt, white shirt and black sweater and a glowing fake tan collected her trophy from Donatella Versace, Gwyneth stayed away as she and her family try to come to terms with the sudden passing of writer/director Bruce following a massive heart attack and pneumonia complications in Italy earlier this month. British screen star Hugh Grant was named "Leading Man," while Tom Ford was presented with the coveted "Designer Of The Year" trophy by John Travolta. Rapper and actress Eve was given "Breakthrough Style" award and Victoria's Secret beauty Karolina Kurkova beat Liya Kibede and Maggie Rizer to the "Model Of The Year" title. Tennis champions Venus and Serena Williams joined screen, catwalk and music stars Claire Danes, LL Cool J, Naomi Campbell, Cate Blanchett and Naomi Watts at the ceremony, hosted by Will & Grace stunner Debra Messing.
