Sneak Peek more leaked images from the Toronto set of director Daid Ayer's currently shooting DC Comics adaptation "Suicide Squad", revealing the actor Common ("Hell On Wheels") in character and in costume:
Some fans are speculating that Common is playing DC Comics 'Abel Tarrant', aka 'The Tattooed Man', who uses an ink with special properties to tattoo himself and is then able to bring the tattoos to 'life'.
But the strong 'Suicide Squad' connection is with the character 'Ben Turner' aka 'Bronze Tiger'.
"...'Ben Turner' comes from an upper middle class black neighborhood in Central City. When he was only 10 years old, he saw a burglar attacking his parents, and he proceeded to kill the man with a kitchen knife. In an effort to control the rage inside him, Turner turns to martial arts (and eventually, crime).

After yesterday’s news that Hayley Atwell would reprise her role as Agent Carter in Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., the question that immediately sprung to mind was how? Her youthful self appeared in the first Captain America flick, but then the actress returned for the sequel all kitted out with a face full of prosthetics to play an elderly Carter.
Today, TV Guide has answered that question: she’ll be kickin’ butt back in the 1940s. The season opener, entitled “Shadows,” is set to follow on directly from the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Agent Coulson and co. are now wanted following on from the explosive ending of Cap’s last adventure. Now, that timeline certainly happens in the present – so where will Peggy Carter fit in? In a series of flashbacks, of course. Presumably to draw parallels between her and Coulson, as TV Guide makes the...

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns later this month in the Us (there’s still no word on whether or not it will be returning to Channel 4 on this side of the pond), and Marvel have revealed the full cast list for the second season’s first episode. As a result, we now know that Hayley Atwell will be making an appearance!
With Atwell set to star in her own eight episode Agent Carter series during Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. mid-season hiatus, you have to imagine that this will be some sort of flashback which helps set up the show.
As well as Atwell and the lead actors, the confirmed cast list includes a guest appearance from journalist George Stephanopoulos as himself, B.J. Britt as Agent Antoine Triplett, Nick Blood as Agent Lance Hunter, Adrian Pasdar as Brigadier General Glenn Talbot, Henry Simmons as Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie, Patton Oswalt as Agent Billy Koenig,...

You have to give Arrow props for the way it is slowly spinning many of DC Comics’ characters into this grounded superhero drama. You wouldn’t think a lot of the Green Arrow’s villains would translate well into the gritty world of Arrow, but somehow they make it work. Even the sillier ideas, like the League of Assassins, are making their way into the stories of Oliver Queen and his vigilante life. A while ago, Arrow teased the idea of putting together the Suicide Squad. A.R.G.U.S. boss Amanda Waller (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) seemed determined to put Diggle back to work and it’s all coming true in the upcoming March 19 episode, appropriately titled “Suicide Squad.”
We’ve got photos from the upcoming episode, so you can see which Arrow characters are joining the Squad. For those of you who don’t know, the Suicide Squad is...

"Arrow" Season 2 will introduce the Suicide Squad in an episode of the same name. Made up of criminals and a few A.R.G.U.S. members as chaperones, the Suicide Squad takes on dangerous missions in a complicated world.
Who, exactly, is on this elite team? Keep reading.
Amanda Waller (Cynthia Addai-Robinson)
The head of A.R.G.U.S. is also the founder and leader of the Squad. She's technically not a criminal, even if Diggle often gets mad at her.
John Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lyla Michaels (Audrey Marie Anderson)
Oliver Queen's partner in stopping crime has to work with criminals now? Needless to say, he isn't going to like it much. Lyla is a little more open-minded about the concept.
Ben Turner, aka Bronze Tiger (Michael Jai White)
The fighter-for-hire with the knives on his knuckles, Bronze Tiger may have been the first recruited by Amanda Waller.

The first photo has gone online from the 'Suicide Squad' episode in the second season of The CW's "Arrow". The photo showcases the famous team-up of DC baddies who will appear in the March 19th episode of the series.
Led by Amanda Waller (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), the group includes Ben Turner/Bronze Tiger (Michael Jai White), Mark Scheffer/Shrapnel (Sean Maher), Floyd Lawton/Deadshot (Michael Rowe), Lyla Michaels (Audrey Marie Anderson) and series regular Diggle (David Ramsey).
"Arrow" executive producer Andrew Kreisberg says it's through Diggle that we are introduced to this group: "Dig was our way into Amanda Waller, and in this episode, Amanda comes to Dig and Lyla, and she recruits Dig for a mission, and tells him he's going to need a team -- and she saddles him with the Suicide Squad."

Alright, I’ll go ahead and say the two words everyone is freaking out about: Suicide Squad!!! After that episode, it seems highly likely that we’re close to a Suicide Squad-Team Arrow showdown of epic proportions. Oh, and to put a little icing on that cake, Sara is back, and according to the promos, she brought Nyssa al Ghul with her! Dig and Ollie really should’ve listened when Felicity suggested they get an X-Ray machine. But let’s not get caught up on the future and focus more on what. just. happened.

Date: Saturday, 28 December; Venue: Cardiff City Stadium; Kickoff: 17:30 GMT
Sunderland have won on their last two visits to Cardiff City, but face the Bluebirds for the first time since they left Ninian Park. The Black Cats will start in the Welsh capital bottom of the Premier League despite a four-match unbeaten run in all competitions.
Gus Poyet’s side followed up two goalless draws and knocking Chelsea out of the Capital One Cup with a win over ten-man Everton on Boxing Day. If two teams from fellow strugglers Crystal Palace, Fulham and West Ham win earlier on Saturday, managerless Cardiff could also kickoff in the relegation zone.
Malky Mackay was offered the festive olive branch of keeping his job as Bluebirds boss for “the foreseeable future”, but club owner Vincent Tan snapped it on Friday after heavy defeats at Liverpool and home to Southampton either side of Christmas.

It feels like yesterday that Alan Hansen famously wrote off Manchester United's young side at the beginning of the 1995/96 Premier League season, insisting that "you'll never win anything with kids". Yet, here we are over 18 years later, still talking about that very team, enough to warrant a much-anticipated documentary.
The Class of 92 centres around six members of that season's winning side, who rose from the ranks of United's youth team to become some of the most celebrated players in the history of the game. On paper, one may feel this would be aimed purely at Manchester United fans, but soon after the initial introductions, this clearly isn't the case.

The Class of 92 is a splendid film about six Manchester United friends living their (and our) dreams
Who knew? It is difficult to imagine a feature-length film charting the rise of six Manchester United footballers from Fa Youth Cup to Champions League winners being so laugh-out-loud funny. The Class of 92 is no comedy but it expertly and easily aces the six-guffaw test by which such movies stand or fall in the world of the Observer film critic, Mark Kermode.
Football, friendship and fame are the prevailing themes of a splendid documentary made by the film-making brothers Gabe and Ben Turner, but there is no shortage of funny either. Reunited for just one day last summer, David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Phil and Gary Neville, Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes clearly revelled in recalling their seven-year ascent through the United ranks, from put-upon first year apprentices to treble-winning kings of Europe.

Aston Villa’s poor run has stemmed from the dip in form of their front trio Gabriel Agbonlahor, Andreas Weimann, and Christian Benteke. They will be without Agbonlahor and Weimann for the Cardiff clash, which means a new look attacking pairing again for Lambert’s men. Left-back continues to be a problem area for the Midlands side, with Antonion Luna and Joe Bennett both ruled out with injury – leaving Lambert to stick with a makeshift left-side with Leandro Bacuna set to deputise.
Cardiff City are playing with confidence, but have had unwanted distractions from the club’s owner Vincent Tan. Nevertheless, they will still be on cloud nine following the Swansea victory and will regard this weekend’s match as winnable considering Aston Villa poor home form – with just one win at Villa Park this season.

Cardiff City beat bitter South Wales rivals Swansea in the two sides’ first top flight meeting. Steven Caulker headed home a corner to settle it.
Who impressed us in the WhatCulture office? Here are out player ratings.
Cardiff
David Marshall: Saved from Michu and an offside Bony. Not a great deal to do, but what the Scottish stopper did was decent enough. 6/10.
Kevin Theophile-Catherine: Crosses blocked time and again. A baffling summer signing, but physical enough to limit little Routledge from getting forward. 5/10.
Steven Caulker: Good set piece threat from the former Spurs and Swansea man. Got on the end of Bellamy corner to score. Great defending to deny Bony thereafter. A towering presence in both areas. Our man of the match. 7/10.
Ben Turner: A good partner for Caulker. Forced Michu and Bony to go deep in search of the ball. Overshadowed by his fellow centre half though.

Former Swansea loan player Steven Caulker settled the South Wales derby in Cardiff City’s favour as the capital club pulled themselves four points clear of relegation danger.
Bluebirds boss Malky Mackay picked Craig Bellamy and faithful retainer Don Cowie in his XI as Korean player Kim and forward Fraizer Campbell dropped out. Otherwise this was the same team that started the goalless draw at Norwich.
Swans manager Michael Laudrup meanwhile had Jonjo Shelvey back in place of Alvaro Vazquez in the only alteration to his side from the home draw with West Ham.
Michu snatched at a shot when a Shelvey centre found him inside five minutes for the visitors and fired wide. Swansea took the game to their hosts in customary passing fashion. Michu worked David Marshall with Shelvey again the source of supply though this time in the centre.
