Cillian Murphy recently had some choice words for his film Red Eye (watch it Here), a Wes Craven-directed thriller that was released back in 2005. But he wasn’t entirely negative. So that got me thinking: Is Red Eye a good film? Or is it more in the so bad it’s good category? I personally saw Red Eye in theaters and have always had a soft spot for it. But if Oppenheimer‘s own Cillian Murphy has an issue with it, maybe it’s worth a second gander. So let’s see whether it’s good, bad, or somewhere in between as we revisit Red Eye in the video embedded above!
Scripted by Carl Ellsworth, who crafted the story with Dan Foos, Red Eye has the following synopsis: In the wake of her grandmother’s funeral, hotel manager Lisa Reisert is waiting to fly back home when she meets charming Jackson Rippner at check-in.

Surprise! iZombie star Robert Buckley is a married man! The actor hopped on Twitter late Friday night to low-key announce that he'd gotten hitched to his girlfriend, actress Jenny Wade. The actor, who turned 37 on Wednesday (what a week!), tweeted a photo with chocolate cake all over his face and wrote, "Post-cake fight with (Borat voice) My Wiiiife." Who doesn't love a good Borat reference in a wedding announcement?! In the pic, the pair are both wearing rings on their ring fingers. One fan asked the TV star who had won the baked goods fight? Buckley responded, "I got cake and a wife so I'm pretty sure I did." Wade, who starred in the...

American comedy Reaper was the slacker Supernatural. With great writing, great jokes and Ray Wise, what more could you want?
At the time of writing, the American television networks’ ‘fall’ season of 2015 is a month or so around the corner. It’s still a month until Doctor Who comes back, and worryingly close to that time of the year when The X-Factor is gobbling up Saturday nights around the UK. The two biggest additions to the "Avengers" ensemble in next month's "Avengers: Age Of Ultron" are Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. They play a key role in the mega-sequel, and they manage to create some interesting tensions for both the heroes and the villains in the film. Olsen was the first to sit down with us on the set, and we jumped right in, having already heard a number of things about her character from the rest of the cast. Can you talk about your Eastern European accent? (looking at the Marvel producers) Can I talk about it? We know that we're from Eastern Europe, so, okay, so, yeah, it’s something that we got to create. It's a make believe place, so it's something that Aaron and I, with the dialect coach, kind of created together. What's the name of the fake country? That I can't talk about, but it's,...

Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen were just two of the new faces on the London set of Avengers: Age of Ultron when we visited last June. The duo, who are playing Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, respectively, talked with us about their first foray into the Marvel universe and how their characters will shake up the team's dynamic. Get a glimpse at the pair in action in the all-new featurette above, and read on to learn four things you should know about the Avengers newcomers and their characters. Expect Accents Twins Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch hail from Eastern Europe - which actual or imaginary country Taylor-Johnson and Olsen wouldn't reveal - and hence worked together on a dialect. "Whether they decide to re-adr that in the end," Taylor-Johnson joked, "I don't know." It also sounds as though the duo had a lot of creative freedom in developing their accent together. A review of tonight's "Mad Men" coming up just as soon as my computer's making me a homo... "I know what he likes." -Megan What a strange episode of "Mad Men" was "The Runaways," full of long-lost characters like Stephanie, strange bedfellows (sometimes quite literally), desperation plays and the mental disintegration of poor Michael Ginsberg. By the time he presented his severed nipple to Peggy in a box — in an episode that also featured a threesome and Sally being injured in a sword fight of sorts — I began wondering if I hadn't somehow left tonight's "Game of Thrones" on for an extra hour. The show has done crazier episodes — Roger taking LSD, or Don turning into Richard Speck — but they ultimately felt more cohesive even with all their weirdness, where "The Runaways" at times felt like a collection of odd ideas all placed into the same episode in the hope that they would fit together.

What does it take to be a good partner? Openness, communication, an active interest in what's important to the person you're with. It's good advice for your love life, but as Jeremy Sisto finds out in "Break Point," those tips work well on the tennis court too. Director Jay Karas, who has logged time behind the camera on "Workaholics," "Parks & Recreation," "Raising Hope" and "After Lately," makes his feature debut here rounding up a pretty solid ensemble including David Walton, Joshua Rush, J.K. Simmons, Amy Smart, Adam DeVine, Chris Parnell, Vincent Ventresca, Cy Amundson and Jenny Wade. Co-written by and starring Sisto, the story follows a former tennis pro that has burned his bridges, who makes one last swing at the big time, and rounds up his estranged brother to once again join him on the court. And in this exclusive clip, we see both how far they've been apart,...

A "Suburgatory" dad is heading to the tennis court. Jeremy Sisto is set to star along with "New Girl"s David Walton in the indie comedy "Break Point," Deadline reports. The film -- based on a story by Gene Hong ("Community") and Sisto -- centers on two estranged brothers (Sisto and Walton) who come together as doubles tennis partners to make a run at a grand slam tournament.
Also starring Amy Smart, Joshua Rush, Jk Simmons, Vincent Ventresca, Chris Parnell, Jenny Wade, Mo Collins, Jerry Minor, Kate Flannery, and Cy Amundson, the indie film just kicked off production in Los Angeles with Jay Karas directing in his feature debut and Sisto producing.

A weak few first episodes for a TV show can often be enough to kill it even if it manages to substantially improve three to four episodes in, and that's exactly what happened to Wedding Band. Admittedly based on something of a gimmick of a premise with each episode seeing the titular group (Brian Austin Green, Peter Cambor, Derek Miller, Harold Perrineau) play a random event covering hit songs in creative and eclectic fashion, Wedding Band evolved into something with genuine comedy potential fairly quickly. As supporting cast Melora Hardin (from Us's The Office) and Jenny Wade gradually began to play bigger parts in the episodes, the exchanges between the six protagonists began to really take off. It's sad, but Wedding Band was a punchy comedy with a great cast that lost its viewers before it could prove it deserved another season.

Fawlty Towers star John Cleese has taken a swipe at the BBC by saying its modern executives don't know how to make comedy shows.
He also added that the corporation's bosses have no experience writing and directing series.
Cleese says on Goodbye Television Centre (airing later this month): "The people who became executives (in the 1960s and 1970s) had produced or directed a great deal of comedy.
"Now there seems to be an executive class and they have never written and never directed."
He added: "They seem by some mystical process to understand comedy much better.
"And now they want to know what is going to be in every programme so that they can say, 'That won't work'. On the basis of what?"
The 73-year-old actor recentley married his fourth wife. He tied the knot with Jennifer Wade, 42, on the Caribbean island of Mustique last year.

The party is over for "Wedding Band." The TBS musical comedy starring Brian Austin Green aired its final episode on Saturday (Jan. 19) and will not return for a second season on the cable network.
This story of four guys who perform cover songs at weddings may have been doomed from the start. Airing at 10pm on Saturdays -- possibly the worst "prime-time" slot available -- "Wedding Band" never managed to top 2 million total viewers at any point in its run. Only 1.4 million tuned in for the finale (according to The Hollywood Reporter).
Also appearing with Green on the show were a mix of familiar and unfamiliar TV faces. Melora Hardin ("The Office," "Monk"), Harold Perrineau ("Lost"), Jenny Wade ("Reaper," "The Good Guys"), Peter Cambor ("NCIS: Los Angeles") and Derek Miller co-starred in the 10-episode series. Although the show also attracted some big-name guest stars -- including Green's wife Megan Fox -- viewers never followed.

Having seen the first couple episodes of this fine new comedy series, the secret ingredient truly is the chemistry of the cast. TBS struck gold when it tapped to star in Wedding Band the talents of Brian Austin Green, Peter Cambor, Harold Perrineau, Derek Miller, Jenny Wade and Melora Hardin. Their layered performances make their characters feel simultaneously hilarious and very real. The show may feature a wedding band, but the genuine musical talent and awesome chemistry that makes this show addictive. Anyone who tunes in will be coming back for more. It is that good – and it is outrageously fun.

"Cougar Town" isn't the only new show coming to TBS -- the network has ordered two new comedy series, "Deon Cole's Black Box" starring the "Conan" writer/performer, and "Who Gets the Last Laugh?" from "Punk'd" co-creators Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg's Katalyst production company.
"Deon Cole's Black Box" let's the Emmy-nominated comedian give his take on the most outrageous viral videos, riffing on gender and racial stereotypes, politics and more. TBS has ordered six episodes of the show, which counts Conaco's Conan O'Brien and Jeff Ross among its executive producers.
"Who Gets the Last Laugh?" (which is still a working title) pits two comedians against each other for what they're calling "the ultimate prank challenge." Each comedian concocts an elaborate prank, then a live audience decides which one was the funniest. Goldberg will serve as showrunner and will executive produce along with Kutcher.

The Wedding Band, from writers and executive producers Josh Lobis and Darin Moiselle (South Park), FremantleMedia and Mike Tollin's Tollin Prods., follows a group of guys performing in a wedding band, anchored by two lifelong best friends -- perennial bachelor Tommy (Brian Austin Green) and Eddie (Peter Cambor), a married father of two. Co-starring in the pilot are Lost alum Perrineau, Kathryn Fiore, Jenny Wade and Derek Miller.

British funnyman John Cleese has sparked rumours he is set to marry for a fourth time after he was spotted shopping for a long, white dress with his partner Jennifer Wade.
The Monty Python star famously endured a bitter divorce from third wife Alyce Faye Eichelberger in 2009, handing over $12 million (£8 million) in cash and assets as part of their settlement.
He subsequently found love again with 39-year-old jewellery designer Wade, who he started dating at the end of 2009.
He has now fuelled gossip about a possible wedding after he was photographed helping Wade pick out a long, white Dolce & Gabbana dress at a store in London this week (beg11Apr11). They were seen discussing alterations and picking out a pair of matching white shoes, according to Britain's Sunday Mirror.
Cleese, who wears a ring designed by Wade to prove he is "serious" about the relationship, recently admitted he is open to another marriage, telling Britain's Daily Telegraph, "I like the idea of it."...

John Cleese's girlfriend gives him an "immediate being-in-love thing", which his last two wives didn't inspire in him. The three-times married "Monty Python" star is happier than ever in his romance with 39-year-old jeweler Jennifer Wade, admitting she makes him feel the way his first spouse, Connie Booth did, unlike his unions with Barbara Trentham and Alyce Faye Eichelberger who were just "ticking boxes".
"In the past I was more ticking boxes, not having an immediate being-in-love thing, which I did have with Connie," the 70-year-old star told the Sunday Times newspaper. "I laugh with Jenny in a way I haven't since I was 10. It's the utterly hopeless laughter of the 10-year-old and it's wonderful to have that back."
John, who was married to his "Fawlty Towers" co-star Connie for 10 years from 1968, remains "great friends" with his first wife, and though he knows their separation was the right thing to do,...

Veteran British funnyman John Cleese has opened up about his new girlfriend Jennifer Wade - insisting it was love at first sight when they met.
The Monty Python star endured a bitter divorce from third wife Alyce Faye Eichelberger last year, handing over $12 million (£8 million) in cash and assets as part of their settlement.
Cleese has since found love again with 39-year-old jewellery designer Wade, who he started dating at the end of 2009 - and the actor now wears a ring designed by Wade to show he is "serious" about their relationship.
He tells Britain's Sunday Times Magazine, "She said, 'How can I take you seriously?' So I told her to design me a ring and I would wear it."
Asked how his new relationship differs from his three marriages, Cleese says, "In the past I was more ticking boxes, not having an immediate being-in-love thing...

I’m not sure what’s more interesting about this episode of The Good Guys: the fact that Jack and Dan wander into a massive conspiracy, or the fact that we finally get to meet Liz’s oft-referenced, sometimes-maligned boyfriend Kyle.
Before we get to Kyle, though, we start with Ruiz in the shower and discovering she has a peeping tom, much to Dan’s righteous indignation. He makes it his “personal mission” to get to the bottom of things. His theory is that she was followed home from her yoga class, which he proceeds to arrive at and give a ridiculous speech during. Jack wonders if Dan is too close to Ruiz and may be taking the case too seriously as a result.
Meanwhile, there’s a meeting at the headquarters of Drayton Oil about a file buried by the company six years earlier. Two employees argue over what to do with it,...

After a disappointing debut last spring and a lackluster summer run, many were surprised that Fox kept The Good Guys on the fall schedule. In hindsight, Fox execs may be wondering why they did as well.
The Good Guys is an action comedy that pairs a washed-up, old-school cop (Bradley Whitford) with a young, by-the-book detective (Colin Hanks). Others in the series include Jenny Wade, Diana-Maria Riva, Jennifer Besser, Kimberly Lynn Campbell, Kennith Edwards, Nathan Fane, and Arthur Wooldridge.
The May premiere attracted a disappointing 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.93 million viewers. That put the TV show's debut in fourth place in total viewership and tied for third in the coveted demographic with NBC's Minute to Win It. Not a good start.

Last week, we met Dan’s former partner. This week, The Good Guys evens things out by introducing Jack’s uncle – who just so happens to be a con man. He’s also played by Ed Begley, Jr. This ought to be interesting. Especially since he’s breaking into Jack’s apartment.
Fourteen hours earlier, Jack is enjoying the newly refurbished Dallas Pd squadroom, but Dan isn’t so happy. The two of them meet the new lab assistant, Samantha, when she accidentally hits Jack with the fridge door. Both of them are a little weirded out by her. After that, Jack gets home to find his uncle Nate on his couch, saying that he believes he witnessed an arsonist in action. Oh, and he just so happens to have an outstanding warrant. Jack is not forgiving, and arrests Nate on the spot. So much for the family reunion.

I'm exhausted. There's a lot of random things I could rant about for an acceptable amount of page space (In particular, the idea that the iPhone can prevent teenagers from sending each other sexy text messages. Anyone who has spent any time around teenagers is well aware that they can turn event the most mundane words and scenarios into double entendres. Ex: "Hey, can you grab me a cup?" "I'll grab Your cups. Yeah!" Also: 5318008.) but I've been having trouble sleeping all week and I'm at the point of just barely managing to function in a socially acceptable manner. If this week were going on any longer, I'd probably end up somewhere in public without pants or wearing my bra on the outside of my shirt and when someone pointed it out I'd respond with "So's your Face!" or something equally witty and then pass out while standing up. I'm not saying it's happened before,...

Did you miss these Good Guys? I certainly did, and they’re back to finish out their first season, starting with perhaps their biggest blunder (and our biggest enjoyment) yet. Any show that starts off with The Who’s “Baba O’Riley” is going to be awesome.
Dan is chasing a purse-snatcher through a shopping district when he gets maced by the guy, who then makes off on a scooter. Dan’s brilliant idea is to commandeer the car that nearly hits him. The resulting pursuit sees him mow over an entire block of parking meters before he hits an ice cream truck and totals the car. Jack catches the perp, but the damage is thousands of dollars, and Lieutenant Ruiz suspends both of them for a week. “You had an opportunity to strangle him before he got in the car,” she tells Jack. Dan’s response? Walk into her office door.

The subject of drug use isn’t a novelty in cinema, having been dealt with as far back as The Man with the Golden Arm in 1955, but Addicted to Her Love distinguishes itself with a harsh, unrelenting realism. Director Elliot Lester makes good use of his talented young cast to tell the bleak story of what happens when directionless youth fights ennui with narcotics. Originally titled Love is the Drug (which is actually a better title for this film) it explores the phenomenon of undisciplined, unsupervised, upper-class youth with too much time and money on their hands, similar to 2002’s Better Luck Tomorrow did, but combines it with the stark reality of drug addiction, like a suburban version of Panic in Needle Park.

British funnyman John Cleese has returned to the region where he was born - after re-discovering the area upon a trip to meet his girlfriend's parents. The "Monty Python" star was born in the south-west England town of Weston-super-Mare and was educated in nearby Bristol.
And after a visit to neighboring city Bath to meet his new lover Jennifer Wade's mum and dad, he "fell in love" with the place and decided to settle there. He tells Britain's Daily Express, "Everyone I know in London is moving to Bath. I came here in March - my girlfriend Jennifer Wade is a jewelery designer and I came down to meet her parents."
"As I arrived I just fell in love with the place and I was trying to figure out why it felt so good. I realized it's because I was born in Weston and I went to Clifton College.

In May, Fox debuted their new action-comedy, The Good Guys. The cop show stars Bradley Whitford, Colin Hanks, Diana-Maria Riva, and Jenny Wade.
The network had so much faith in the show that they ordered seven additional episodes before the series even premiered and also gave it a slot on the fall schedule. Unfortunately, the TV show hasn't caught on and looks to have a real uphill battle if The Good Guys is going to survive long enough to be renewed for season two.
Fox recently decided to pull the show from the summer schedule a little early but is still slated to air on Friday nights this fall.
As a result of the show's rating challenges, The Good Guys is undergoing some adjustments. According to Deadline, Fox wants to focus on attracting more young female viewers.

Working with an ex-lover can really suck. (And on a personal note: your humble TV Squad blogger has worked with his ex-girlfriend, and it truly ... really ... sucked.) The latest episode of 'The Good Guys' (Mon., 9Pm Et on Fox) deals with this very lame dilemma.
[Spoiler alert.]
Jack (Colin Hanks) is having some trouble with his ex-girlfriend Liz (played by Jenny Wade). The "trouble" is this: he's still in love with her, and she has a new boyfriend. So Jack decides to do something "stupid and impulsive." He rushes into Liz's office, grabs her in his arms, and plants a seemingly never-ending kiss on her lips.
No, Jack, no! Getting "stupid and impulsive" with a girl is always a bad way to go. Except for the approximately 5 percent of the time that it actually works out. So the question is this: will our young hero find...
