Up and coming rapper Doe B was shot and killed at a nightclub in Alabama over the weekend when shots were fired inside the Montgomery establishment. He was 22.
Doe B. Shot Dead
Along with Doe B, 21-year-old Kimberle Johnson was also killed. Six other patrons of Centennial Hill Bar and Grill sustained gunshot injuries. No suspects have been named in the shooting as of yet, reported CNN.
Before it was the Centennial Hill Bar and Grill, the building where the shooting occurred had been the Rose Supper Club. In December of last year, there was a shooting that left six people injured. The fatal shooting over the weekend has led Montgomery Mayor Todd Strange to mandate that the club close its doors immediately and indefinitely.
"I believe it is not a matter of 'if', but 'when' the next tragic incident occurs at this business," he said in a written statement.
