- Uri Zohar was born on November 4, 1935 in Tel Aviv, Israel. He was an actor and director, known for Metzitzim (1972), Three Days and a Child (1967) and Every Bastard a King (1968). He was married to Elia Zohar and Ilana Rovina. He died on June 2, 2022 in Jerusalem, Israel.

- (1978-) Uri has found the lord, and is now known as Rabbi Uri Zohar. In the 1992 Israeli election, he directed a series of infomercials for the SHAS (Hebrew ancronyms for association of Torah observing spainiards) party, and was attributed with much of its success in the election. He spends most of his days for the past 18 years studying Torah and preaching.
- Two of his sons are married to two daughters of his friend and former partner in work, Arik Einstein.
