- In his early Disney years, he was an "in-betweener"; he created the "movement" drawings of characters after the head animator had outlined the scene. He became a main animator on "Peter Pan" (1953). He retired in 1983.
- He was an animator who began his long career at Disney Studios working on "Fantasia". He applied for a job at Disney in 1939 after hearing that Disney planned to make an animated movie based on one of his favorite stories, "Alice in Wonderland", which was eventually released in 1951.
