Like many of The Young and the Restless characters, Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) love life is complicated. Although he’s had many love interests, Adam’s relationships don’t end well. He’s been single since his breakup with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), but he’ll find love with someone from his past.

When it comes to Adam’s love interests, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) are his famous pairings. But Sally turned Adam’s world upside down. Since their first meeting in the park, sparks flew between the Genoa City pariahs.

Paramount’s bet on all things Taylor Sheridan continues to pay off in spades — and the numbers prove it.
Here’s one clear sign: In the fourth quarter, Paramount+ racked up the second-most appearances in Whip Media’s weekly rankings of the top 10 most-streamed TV shows in the U.S., trailing only Netflix among streaming services. The rankings use data from U.S. users of Whip Media’s TV Time, a movie and TV show tracking app with more than 24 million global registered users.
Paramount+’s momentum hasn’t slowed down in 2023. In fact, the service has stayed at the top of Whip Media’s ranker through the first two weeks of the year, coming in ahead of Netflix, HBO Max and Disney+.

So what’s been working for Paramount+?
Anything connected to the “Yellowstone” universe, for starters.

Netflix probably expected “Wednesday” – its new horror-comedy series based on the “The Addams Family” character Wednesday Addams – to be a strong performer when it debuts on Wednesday. But new anticipation data from Whip Media shows that might be underselling the show – with “Wednesday” looking like it’ll enjoy one of the best Netflix debuts in years.
According to data from Whip Media based on users of TV Time, a TV and movie tracking app with 24 million registered users, “Wednesday” has more followers than all but one Netflix original series heading into its first episode. (“The Witcher” lapped “Wednesday” and all other Netflix shows in terms of pre-launch followers.) This is the case for “Wednesday” when compared to any other Netflix originals, including “Bridgerton” and “The Sandman,” since 2019.
“Twenty-eight days pre-launch, ‘Wednesday’ had over 50,000 followers in the TV Time app – among the top 2 of Netflix original series since January 2019,” Eric Steinberg,...

On September 7 — otherwise known as the Day Before Disney+ Day — Disney execs made a hard sell at the Bank of America Securities Media, Communications & Entertainment Conference for the studio’s advertising (coming soon to Disney+!), film slate, and parks. This weekend was three days of D23. Along the way, Mickey Mouse made a lot of cheese: 7.41 billion in market capitalization, to be exact.
The money will come in handy soon as Disney+ (market cap: 212.19 billion) takes on Netflix (market cap: 105.19 billion) in the next phase of the streaming wars: AVOD. It’s especially important Disney capitalize on the build-up, because it looks like its planned December launch for ad-supported Disney+ will come a month after Netflix ads make their debut. Disney+ may lose that sprint, but it may have an edge in the marathon for revenue — and the momentum.

As actors, the challenges of finding employment often require us to be as creative in that search as we are in our acting. Some performers, for example, have found greater success and more-enriching experiences by looking outside American borders. Back Stage recently spoke with a group of these world travelers to learn how they made inroads overseas and what it's like to work abroad.Finding That First Job, or Letting It Find You"I didn't so much seek work outside of the U.S. as the work found me," says Alison Moehnke, who's been performing in A Christmas Carol off and on across Europe for the past six holiday seasons. Shortly after Moehnke graduated from Nyu, a former classmate who'd toured with the production mentioned that it was holding auditions. It was only after booking the gig that Moehnke learned the details: six countries in six weeks, with a salary,...
