Undefiled is a thrilling drama film inspired by true events. Directed by Matthew McCaulley, who also wrote the film with Daniel and David McCaulley, the film shows us some very evil things in our society and some flawed people who might gather enough courage to stand up against injustice and evil.
The film revolves around an aging baseball player with a failing marriage and career, who is also dealing with issues like porn addiction and childhood trauma. When he finds out that some members of his team are abusing an underage girl, who he develops a bond with later on in the film. He must decide between choosing a steady career or helping the girl get away from these monsters.
As a film Undefiled is flawed in many ways but I think the story and the message make it important enough for a single watch. The efforts...

Pursuit of Freedom is deeply rooted in Christianity and while I am not religious myself. I can’t deny the fact that the film shows its story of faith in a very charming way. The George A. Johnson film follows the incredible true story of Anna (Jessica Koloian), a Ukranian mother of three who goes through hell when she is kidnapped by local mobsters and sold into prostitution and sexual slavery.
After nearly three years of enslavement, Anna is left for dead on the side of the road by the mobsters after she becomes ill and is no longer attractive to clients. After weeks of lying unconscious, Anna awakens in a hospital in Amsterdam where she is helped by a kind nurse Naomi (Sharonne Lanier), who reads Anna passages from the Bible and leads her on the path of Christ.
As Anna’s health gets a bit...

New York based actor, producer, filmmaker and former Capetonian – Stelio Savante – has joined thousands of South Africans in celebrating the South African Supreme Court’s ruling on citizenship. The court summary declared that it was constitutionally invalid for South Africans to lose their citizenship when acquiring those from other nations. The ruling comes after the Democratic Alliance (Da) appealed a high court order that originally dismissed the party’s application that the legislation was inconsistent with the South African constitution. However this new ruling reinstated Sa citizenship for all those who lost it.

Savante – who has 135 international credits to his name – described the elation that he and other South Africans were experiencing – “I gratefully wake to celebrate with the tens of thousands of fellow South Africans who’d unnecessarily and inadvertently been deprived of their citizenship courtesy of a flawed and contradictory law that violated international human rights.

Watch the canon of classic American mob movies, and you’ll be constantly reminded that families — both kinds of them — stick together. The Vito Corleones and Tony Sopranos of the world are quick to justify the formation of their crime organizations by saying that Italians had to look out for each other when they immigrated to this country with nothing. And they’ll defend their continued shady dealings by saying that they do it all for their wives and children. Crime might be the lifeblood of their communities, but what really matters (in their view) is that mob families always take care of each other.
Of course, the stories never end as happily as they begin. The sacred bonds of family rarely survive the stresses posed by greed, law enforcement, and the massive egos this line of work attracts. Sometimes, all it takes is a guy named Big Sam making...

The sight of a southern swamp opens the latest feature from writer/director/star Nick McCallum, with the area including gators residing in the water, and a hand visibly poking out of the ground. It belongs to murdered ranch owner Robert Marks, who was last seen boarding a boat with his missing daughter, Sloan. This is conveyed in the intrusive voice-over from ex-cop Isaiah Slade (McCallum), arriving in the small town searching for answers as to Sloan’s whereabouts.
As he converses with the local Chief (Richard Gunn), tries speaking with Robert’s remaining daughter Beth (Mary Drew Ahrens), and forms a bond with aspiring musician Brandy (Anais Lilit), it becomes clear that Slade is personally invested in uncovering the truth.

Gravitas has revealed an official trailer for MobKing, a trashy crime thriller from Florida made by a Cuban-American filmmaker known as Jorge "Jokes" Yanes. Now, thrust into a kill or be killed situation, he faces a dilemma: get out and stay out or fight and reclaim what's rightfully his. The film's ensemble cast includes Robert Lasardo, Oksana Lada,...

Rainn Wilson, former star of the hit TV series “The Office”, said there is “an anti-Christian bias in Hollywood” following the eighth episode of “The Last Of Us”.
The episode showcases the main character Ellie meeting a group of survivors led by a Bible-reading preacher who turns out to be a terrifying, murderous villain.

Q: We recently saw you in the film Pursuit of Freedom. In it, you play the role of Bedros, a character who fights for freedom, making his own decisions, to put it that way. This is a character who is obviously full of goodness and is very human.
How did you prepare for Bedros and what can you tell us about him and your character?
Stelio Savante in Pursuit Of Freedom photo credit James Burgess
A: Thank you for your feedback on Bedros and Pursuit Of Freedom.
I’d already been in a prior film about human trafficking based on a true story (Selling Isobel aka Apartment 407) and had done extensive research in this arena. So I was far too familiar with the ugly global exploitation and far too common forced labor that exists. And aware of how governments are always one step behind and in some cases don’t care.

Pursuit of Freedom is a film directed by George A. Johnson and stars Jessica Koloiano and Stelio Savante.
This is a movie about human rights in the face of bureaucracy.

Pursuit of Freedom is a movie that fools one from the start, but in a good way. It looks almost like it will be a thriller, with the first scenes leading us to thing that “here´s another Bruce Willis movie…” and no, because Pursuit of Freedom is, above all, a story about people searching for freedom...

Movie Review Pursuit of Freedom (2022)
Pursuit of Freedom is a movie that fools one from the start, but in a good way. It looks almost like it will be a thriller, with the first scenes leading us to thing that “here´s another Bruce Willis movie…” and no, because Pursuit of Freedom is, above all, a story about people searching for freedom...

"He got in your head, didn't he?" Believe Entertainment has unveiled an official trailer for Nefarious, a wonky psychological thriller opening in select theaters this spring. This is actually strangely another religious propaganda film made by the guys behind films like The Book of Daniel, God's Not Dead 1 & 2, and Do You Believe? - an important detail to point out. But it's still an interesting premise, as long as you can look past the ulterior motives. On the day of his scheduled execution, a convicted serial killer gets a psychiatric evaluation during which he claims he is a demon, then further claims that before their time is over, the psychiatrist will commit three murders of his own. Starring Sean Patrick Flanery, Jordan Belfi, James Healy Jr., Eric Hanson, and Stelio Savante. They're good about covering up the religious aspects, but this seems to be all about "you cannot say his name...

Find Her is a movie written, directed and starring Nick McCallum. With Richard Gunn, Anais Lilit, Stelio Savante and Rebecca Lines.
A movie with an American scent of deep forests and secrets.
Movie Review
This is a kind of movie of bygone times which seeks its thriller seeking its own ecosystem.
Find Her has the virtue of knowing how to go back in time in the genre and fulfill its principles from the very start, without attempting to be what it is not and knowing how to go to the sources of dark thrillers and the classics of the Forties of the past century. It is impossible to not recall the kind of film noir hero who is a prey of his own nightmares.
Anais Lilit is good as a femme fatale and the atmosphere and photography also match it and, curiosly, that off camera voice that some say is...
