- Branko Plesa was born on March 6, 1926 in Kiseljak, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Yugoslavia. He was an actor and director, known for Lilika (1970), Dimitrije Tucovic (1973) and Vuk Karadzic (1987). He died on June 9, 2001 in Belgrade, Serbia, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
- On November 1988, he received Life Achievement Award "Dobricin prsten" for his roles in Serbian theaters.
- He was professor of acting at Faculty of dramatic arts in Novi Sad, Serbia.
- Father of Goran Plesa.
