One of the biggest upcoming MCU releases is most certainly ‘Deadpool & Wolverine.’ The movie marks several big things. It’s Deadpool’s first foray into the MCU and also the only MCU movie to be released in 2024, in the hopes of restoring at least some of the faith that the fans of the franchise lost in the last several years due to a string of several poorly received movies.
The recently released trailer also confirmed that several old faces from the ‘Deadpool’ and Fox’s ‘X-Men’ franchises are going to be making a return.
According to the latest rounds of rumors, and one synopsis, ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ won’t reference only old Fox’s ‘X-Men,’ it’s also going to revisit key moments from phases 1-4 and it’s going to reference The Punisher.

One of the highly anticipated MCU releases is undoubtedly ‘Deadpool & Wolverine.’ This film signifies several significant milestones: it’s Deadpool’s inaugural venture into the MCU and the sole MCU movie set for release in 2024, aiming to rekindle fan enthusiasm following a series of poorly received films in recent years.
The newly unveiled trailer also confirms the return of familiar faces from both the ‘Deadpool’ and Fox’s ‘X-Men’ franchises.
Recent rumors, along with a synopsis, suggest that ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ won’t just harken back to the old Fox ‘X-Men’ era; it’s also poised to revisit pivotal moments from phases 1-4 and include nods to The Punisher.
According to insights from MyTimeToShineHello, The Punisher will be alluded to in the film as someone who confronted Cassandra Nova, returning after a confrontation with her.

Aew Revolution 2024 was a hell of a show and it ended with the satisfying finale of Sting’s time in the ring. The final stretch of Sting’s career was a wonderful chance to set things right for the legendary wrestler, after the wrestling business had constantly let him down over the years. He was once the ace of WCW, but the incompetence and selfishness of others hurt his legacy in different ways at different promotions. But despite being in his 60s, his three years at Aew allowed him to go out on his own terms.
The Stinger is a beloved icon for a reason. While he did get wrapped up in such unfortunate things as the WCW mini-movies, the Shockmaster, the ill-fated Hulk Hogan match at Starrcade, and a really unfortunate PPV main event involving Jeff Hardy, Sting was still one of WCW’s great highlights and kicked a...

Sting has emerged victorious in his last match and will now retire as an Aew Tag Team champion. Sting and Darby Allin beat the Young Bucks in the main event of Sunday’s Revolution after the iconic boxer got Matt Jackson to tap out to the Scorpion Death Lock. Sting, real name Steve Borden, is famously known for the monochromatic paint on his face, which many dubbed as the ‘Crow gimmick’. However, Borden shared that he never modeled himself after Brandon Lee’s The Crow.

WWE is gearing up for WrestleMania Xl with the possibility of appealing to a wider audience than any other pro-wrestling promotion. Earlier, all signs pointed to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson facing Undisputed WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns in the main event of the two-day WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia on April 6 or 7.
However, fans were taken aback because Cody Rhodes, the winner of the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match over Roman Reigns, was supposed to take that slot. But the WWE Universe’s massive outcry and the overwhelming support for Rhodes forced the company to reschedule his match against Reigns.

Those who don’t follow professional wrestling may not appreciate just how tough and grueling it is. It isn’t enough to be on the road 200+ days a year, getting dropped on your head or your back every night, dealing with injuries, losing your spot on the roster, and worse. If you’ve seen films like The Iron Claw, The Wrestler, or the old Beyond the Mat documentary, you know that professional wrestling is grind like no other.
But the other aspect that goes underappreciated is how much wrestling relies on acting. If you have any hope of making it big, it isn’t enough to be able to do a tope suicida or Texas Cloverleaf on the way to a 5-star mat classic. You have to be able to act your role, day in and day out. Often, you have to act live, in front of an audience of thousands,...

Both John Cena and Dwayne Johnson have successfully transitioned from WWE to acting careers. Before Cena made the jump, though, he had problems with Johnson’s career pivot. Cena frequently accused Johnson of turning his back on the WWE in favor of a film career. In recent years, Cena has apologized to Johnson for his comments, realizing they were both disrespectful and hypocritical.
John Cena criticized Dwayne Johnson for becoming an actor
In the early 2010s, Cena asserted his belief that Johnson’s pivot to acting was a slight to the WWE. Though Johnson eventually announced his return to the WWE, Cena believed he prioritized his acting career.
“Finally The Rock came back and everyone was was getting with it ’till he said I was talking trash but he would never be specific,” Cena said in a rap, per CBS News. “It’s because I wasn’t talking trash, Rock,...

In the world of "John Wick," coming face to face with the Baba Yaga might as well be an appointment to sign your own death certificate. John Wick has killed an alarming number of people, so it's almost more shocking when he doesn't kill someone. In the film that kicked off the franchise, Wick walks up to the VIP entrance of The Red Circle club owned by Russian crime lord Viggo Tarasov and intimidates the bouncer, Francis, outside. Despite his hulking frame, Wick puts his gun to Francis' head and addresses him by name. He compliments him on his weight loss, which Francis clarifies is a loss of 60 kilograms. While this might appear to be some gentle conversation to break the tension before a bloodbath, it's actually an exchange of information.
Francis' reference to 60 kilograms is actually a code for how many guards are in the club, providing Wick with...

To date, there have been four notable live-action filmed renditions of the Marvel Comics character, the Punisher. The character, also known as Frank Castle, saw his family murdered by an overzealous and vengeful gangster, and soon thereafter became the world's most deadly vigilante. Imagine Batman with bloodthirst and guns, and you'll have a good idea of what the Punisher is all about.
It's worth mentioning right away that in recent years, the Punisher's skull logo has become a source of controversy. In about 2012, the skull began to be co-opted as a positive symbol of fascist violence. It was seen on the police cars during Black Lives Matter protests and adopted as a symbol of a "Blue Lives Matter" countermovement, used to support police brutality. Eventually, Marvel Comics had the Punisher confront some of his cop disciples, saying out loud that he is not a role model and that cops should hold themselves to higher standards.

Magic Mike’s Last Dance sees Channing Tatum and Steven Soderbergh back together to finish what they started 11 years ago. This time, however, most of the magic seems to have gone, as too has the entertainment.

After the event, he meets Max (Salma Hayek), the hostess of said event, who needs a spark added to her life. That spark comes in the form of a dance, a dance Mike gives her that will finally give her a sense of purpose, a sense of life she hasn’t felt in years. That spark...

WWE 2K23 features quite a few improvements to the franchise formula that will certainly be welcomed by wrestling game fans everywhere. Of course, some things never change, which means that WWE 2K23 still makes you unlock quite a few wrestlers via gameplay accomplishments and by spending both real and virtual currency.
The very good news is that WWE 2K23 makes the various unlock processes fairly painless. The problem is that the game doesn’t always do a great job of telling you exactly how to unlock those wrestlers or the best way to go about acquiring all of them. Hopefully, we can help ease that part of the unlock system just a bit.
How to Unlock Every WWE 2K23 Wrestler With Virtual Currency
The vast majority of wrestlers in WWE 2K23 are unlocked via the game’s Virtual Currency (Vc) system. Every wrestler available via the in-game store costs 1,000 Vc to unlock.

When Steven Soderbergh’s Magic Mike was released in 2012, it’s doubtful that anyone knew entirely what to expect. A film about male strippers that was loosely based on the star of the film, Channing Tatum, and his own experiences in the world of stripping seemed unlikely to spawn a sprawling and vocal fanbase—much less the Magic Mike Cinematic Universe (or Mmcu for short). But that’s exactly what it did.
From the opening speech and the now famous line of “I think I see some lawbreakers in here,” drawled enticingly by the club’s compere Dallas (Matthew McConaughey), it was pretty clear that a good time was coming. Set in sweltering Tampa, Florida, the film centers around the star of Dallas’ show, Mike Lane (Tatum), who is working day and night trying to achieve his dreams of starting his own furniture business. Steven Soderbergh's "Magic Mike" offered a unique glimpse into the world of male entertainment, with a stacked cast to back it up. Channing Tatum has proven to be a versatile actor, but the moves he's able to perform on the dance floor are unbelievable. The film is loosely based on Tatum's actual experiences as a young male entertainer when he was performing in Tampa, Florida. Although Soderbergh sat out for "Magic Mike Xxl," the highly acclaimed filmmaker is returning for the latest installment "Magic Mike's Last Dance." But as excited as I am for that, we need to take a breath, embrace the sweat, and talk about the series' sophomore sequel for a moment.
Tatum is undoubtedly the lead in "Magic Mike Xxl," but its greatest secret weapon is its ensemble, which includes Matt Bomer, Kevin Nash, Adam Rodriguez, Gabriel Iglesias, Jada Pinkett Smith, Elizabeth Banks, and Donald Glover.

The "Magic Mike" movies are ostensibly about men, or at the very least about one man (Channing Tatum's titular "Magic" Mike), but the women of the franchise have an important role, too. Mike has had his romantic interests through each film, like Cody Horn's Brooke in "Magic Mike," Amber Heard's Zoe in "Magic Mike Xxl," and now Salma Hayek Pinault in "Magic Mike's Last Dance," but the second movie also has two brilliant, beautiful bisexual women who have carved out positions of power in the world of male stripping: Jada Pinkett Smith's Rome and Elizabeth Banks' Paris. Rome and Paris, besides sharing place-based names, also share some kind of romantic or sexual past together, and they're the kind of women that make fems everywhere want to scream "#Goals!".

Plot: After his construction company shuts down, a down and out Mike (Channing Tatum) accepts an offer from a wealthy divorcee (Salma Hayek) to fly to London and mount a spectacular stage show.
Review: Magic Mike’s Last Dance is the Staying Alive to the original’s Saturday Night Fever. It’s wholly unnecessary and loses all of the grit, edge and charm that made the original (and its fun sequel) such a sensation. Director Steven Soderbergh has made a tame third entry in the franchise that borders on prudish. We’re supposed to think we’re watching something risqué and naughty, but this is a movie that avoids strip clubs altogether and climaxes in a finale that seems cribbed from the Magic Mike Live stage show and has no nudity whatsoever, with none of the dancers even daring to wear g-strings. All of the guys stay in their boxers,...

Channing Tatum is back as the magic man, and Stephen Soderberg returns to direct Magic Mike’s Last Dance. Written by Reid Carolin, this stripper story has a feminist edge as it introduces a new character played by Salma Hayek who’s at the center of the story. Like the other two films, Last Dance has some electric dance numbers (choreographed by Alison Faulk and Luke Broadlick), with Tatum being as charming as ever. But something is missing from this one and its rushed conclusion makes those ending moments appear random and out of place.
We first see Mike Lane (Tatum) working as a bartender at an event where he meets Maxandra “Max” Mendoza, a wealthy socialite going through a divorce. He goes back to her house, and she offers him six thousand dollars to ‘entertain’ her–prompting the longest strip dance scene ever. All the whining and gyrating wins...

Near the end of 2015’s Magic Mike Xxl, before putting on their sexiest show, our beloved troupe of strippers (or male entertainers, as they prefer to be called) hear the ecstatic cheers of the crowd on the other side of the curtain. “They’re doing a fucking Twilight routine and they’re mopping it up,” Big Dick Richie (Joe Manganiello) says, exasperated by the preceding group’s PG-13 gyrations and graceless body rolls. Tarzan (Kevin Nash) isn’t surprised: “All those tweeners are growing up, man — makes perfect sense.”
If you keep Tarzan’s nonchalant sentiment in mind, then you may be able to forgive the frustrating disappointment that is Magic Mike’s Last Dance. From Zeph in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Frank Castle in The Punisher to David Drayton in The Mist (based on the Stephen King novella of the same name) and Baxley in The Predator, Thomas Jane is no stranger to bringing compelling characters to life on screen in multiple genres. His role in the recent horror comedy Slayers is certainly no exception, as he plays Elliot Jones, a modern vampire hunter who lives in an Rv, researches bloodsucker conspiracy theories, and eventually teams up with video game influencer Flynn (Kara Hayward) to help take down a nefarious vampire empire.
With Slayers now on Digital and On Demand, we recently caught up with Thomas Jane to discuss acting in and executive producing the new vampire movie, and he also reflected on filming his memorable fight scene with Kevin Nash in The Punisher and being a part of the gut-punch ending of The Mist.

The son of WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash, Tristen, has died according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.
Tristen was 26, and a time and cause of death were not provided to the public.
Sapp’s statement read, “Tristen recently started working on Kevin’s new podcast and the two enjoyed their time together.”
Tristen had been working on the production team for Kliq This: The Kevin Nash podcast.
He was Kevin’s only child with wife Tamara Nash.
The pair had rebuilt their relationship following difficulties in the past. One night in 2014, Kevin was arrested for battery against Tristen, and then police returned to the residence to arrest Tristen for battery against Tamara.
It’s been a tough year for Kevin Nash. In March, wrestler Scott Hall, a close friend and and collaborator of Nash’s, passed away.
Very unfortunate news to share. Sending love to the family of Tristen Nash.

Glenn Jacobs, who spent more than two decades in WWE’s ring as the sadistic, disfigured wrestler Kane, has taken punishing hits from wrestling fans after he enthusiastically endorsed the Supreme Court ruling Friday overturning Roe v. Wade.
Jacobs, a Republican who is currently the mayor of Knox County, Tenn., rejoiced in a tweet about the court’s historic decision eliminating federal protections for abortion rights.
“Roe v. Wade has been overturned!” Jacobs wrote in the post. “This clears the way for states like Tn to pass stronger protections for the unborn, and is an answer to a prayer for so many. #RightToLife #Victory.”
Jacobs’ praise about the demise of Roe v. Wade elicited dismay and sharp rebukes on social media.
“Respectfully @WWE, please never have Kane return to TV again. It’s a real shame you chose to be a monster inside and outside the ring,” tweeted Superzomgbbq, a U.

One of the major new movie releases this week poses a follow-up to the old chestnut about the friendship between a boy and his dog. So, does that extend into manhood? And would they be great “travel’ bros’ as in a buddy “road trip” adventure? Well, one of the silver screen’s “hunkiest” (maybe magical) leading men aims to explore that as he does double duty in front of and behind the camera. It’s a kibble-flavored popcorn flick as movie-goers embark on a hero’s journey alongside a lovable but difficult Dog.
The film’s title refers to Lulu (played by a trio of Belgian Malinois), a military canine trained to go into battle in the Middle East.

The camera loves Channing Tatum, and that makes up for a lot in “Dog,” a corny road movie that mostly panders to fans of Tatum and/or dogs, as well as any moviegoer who still thinks that making a big show of supporting the troops (any troops) makes them more human than, uh, most everyone else.
Tatum plays Army Ranger Jackson Briggs, a selfish but irrepressible grunt who travels along the Pacific coast (from Washington to Arizona) with Lulu, an aggressive but misunderstood Army dog who’s scheduled to be put down after she makes a guest appearance at her dead handler’s funeral.
Briggs’ needlessly defensive everyman personality holds “Dog” back from being as good as its high-concept premise. Thankfully, Tatum, who co-directed the movie with screenwriter and producer Reid Carolin (“Magic Mike Xxl”), mostly gets by on-screen charisma alone, since he and his collaborators give his character ample...

Lockdown, formerly titled Covid-19: Invasion, is set in the plague-ravaged year of 2035. The world’s population has been decimated and there are only 29,000,000 people left. And it’s about to become 28,999,999 as, after a short chase, Rex shoots an unarmed woman despite her protestations that she’s not sick.
Sadly what most caught my attention wasn’t the brutality of the scene or the acting. It was the fact that, despite the world apparently having gone to Hell in a handbasket, Rex is driving a shiny new pickup truck, with no dirt, dents, scratches or rust to be seen. It’s reassuring to know that the auto industry and car washes will get through the crisis.
But, I digress. Rex has gotten it into his head that Covid is being spread by the homeless.
