Exclusive: Arden Myrin (Insatiable) has been set to star alongside Zoey Deutch, Jonah Hauer-King, Ruby Cruz and more in director Chad Hartigan’s high-concept rom-com The Threesome for Star Thrower Entertainment, Filmopoly and Jupiter Peak.
Details as to her role are under wraps.
Recently wrapping production in Arkansas, the film explores the aftermath of one impulsive, seemingly innocuous decision. When a young man’s perennial crush leads him into an unexpected threesome, he thinks it’s his ultimate fantasy come true. But when the fantasy ends, all three are left with sobering real-world consequences, forcing them to take responsibility for their actions — even if it means compromising the lives they’ve always envisioned.
Ethan Ogilby wrote the script for the pic, also starring Jaboukie Young-White and Josh Segarra. Pic’s producers are Tim White and Trevor White for Star Thrower Entertainment, Vince Jolivette for Filmopoly, and Steven Shapiro for Jupiter Peak.

Review: Adaptations are always tricky, let alone trying to adapt something like a character from YouTube. Yet somehow Andrew Bowser’s Onyx the Fortuitous works really well in the narrative here. Sure, there are going to be people that are driven crazy by his delivery but I found myself oddly charmed by it. And it doesn’t hurt that there’s a spectacular cast surrounding him that provides plenty of hilarity. I would hope that most know what they’re getting into when it comes to something called Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls. But you never know.

You’ve seen “Onyx The Fortuitous” on Youtube where he hijacks news reports with his odd personality and motormouth. Now he is coming to the big screen with his full-length feature Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls, written, directed and starring Andrew Bowser, based on his internet-famous character also known as the “Weird Satanist Guy.” After a successful crowdfunding campaign to finance part of the production, the throwback horror comedy has been shown at Sundance, Glasgow FrightFest, and more recently, Fantasia Film Fest.
My first exposure to Onyx the Fortuitous was hearing his voice in the intro of Iron Reagan’s 12-second banger “Your Kid’s An Asshole”. Wanting to find the source of said sample, I stumbled upon his viral videos and wondered if this guy was for real and, if so, how did he manage to always be in the right place at the right time to get an interview?...

One of the strongest themes throughout The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (espeiclaly this final season) has been the relationships between parents and children.
On The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 Episode 7, nearly every plotline dealt with children, parents, grandparents, and legacy. How appropriate as we approach Mother's Day!
There were plenty of poignant moments, some indications of growing up, and the recognition of arrested development.
Is Midge finally growing and changing? It's admittedly late in the proceedings, but maybe that's one of the things that the show has been building to. She's finally being taken seriously; she's getting new and exciting opportunities and losing them through no fault of her own.
Midge is maturing. She is clearly talented and tenacious, remaining confident but getting better at knowing how to play the cards she's been dealt. She could have laid into Pete, but she didn't. She even stuck up for James, even though it hurt like hell.

"This is our spot, it's our little corner of the world, and I'm not giving it up." Samuel Goldwyn Films has revealed an official trailer for an indie romantic comedy titled Space Oddity, which I don't really think is good enough to borrow this iconic title from David Bowie's song. Oh well. The film first premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival last year and will be out at the end of March this year. A space-obsessed man gets the opportunity of a lifetime thanks to a Mars colonization program but finds his plans changed by his feelings for a woman who brings him down to Earth. In the midst of his rigorous preparation, he meets Daisy, the new girl in town who's trying to start over. Eventually Alex finds himself questioning whether it's easier to confront his past or fly away into the stars. Kyle Allen stars as Alex,...

Internet sensation Onyx the Fortuitous, aka the “Weird Satanist Guy,” has charmed viewers for roughly a decade through a series of ongoing viral videos that have amassed over 300 million views. Writer/Director/Star Andrew Bowser brings his viral character to the big screen in Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls, an infectious Saturday Morning Cartoon of a comedy-horror movie. So much so that he jumps at the chance to prove himself to his idol Bartok the Great (Jeffrey Combs), answering an open call for fellow Satan worshippers to join the renowned dark master for a special ritual.
