With “Dancing with the Stars” set to come back for a 33rd season this fall, there’s a long list of celebrities who deserve to compete on the dance floor. Three of my past suggestions did ultimately become “DWTS” contestants: Frankie Muniz (who came in third in season 25), Kel Mitchell (who came in second in season 28), and Jamie Lynn Spears (who was the second to be eliminated last season). Below is a list of female celebs I think the show should consider inviting to the ballroom to vie for the next Mirror Ball Trophy. Do you agree with my picks? Check them out below, and vote in our poll at the bottom of this post to let us know who you’d most like to see on “DWTS.” And feel free to let us know in the comments what other stars you would like to see when the show comes back in September.

Despite the fact that "All I Want for Christmas" was recently dethroned from its spot atop the "Most-Played Christmas Songs in Retail Stores" list, replaced by The Shins' version of "Wonderful Christmastime," there's no denying that Mariah Carey's tune is the most enduring addition to the Christmas canon from the past quarter-century - at least. So here are eight different covers of it. Which version best captures the sense of whimsical longing reflected in the original? You may remember Samantha Mumba as Ireland's answer to Britney Spears, a stunning singer who bared her midriff in music videos for catchy songs like "Baby Come on Over" in the memorable 2000s. Nowadays, Samantha is giving her younger self a run for her money. On Friday, the songstress showed off her killer bikini body during a family beach day in Malibu, CA. She splashed in the water, wandered in the sand with a smile, shared a sweet makeout session with her husband, Torray Scales, and doted on their daughter, Sage. Given the sight of her incredible abs, you might be surprised to find out that it's been about three months since Samantha gave birth to Sage, her first child, in March. Read on to see Samantha have the time of her life, and then check out the ultimate celebrity bikini gallery and endless Summer Pda.

Kevin Spacey, Steven Seagal and, erm, Kangaroo Jack: they all nabbed the box office top spot last decade...
By the end of the 2000s, getting number one at the American box office was a valuable marketing commodity. As such, studios pumped more and more money into making sure they at least had a great opening weekend for their product.
The consequence of this was that it was harder and harder for smaller and quirkier films to take a brief spot in the sun. Certainly towards the second half of the decade, it seems that the number one movie each week was pre-ordinained in a marketing meeting somewhere.
Still, there were some films that have since fallen out of public view that clawed their way to number one. How many of these do you remember?

After a bombardment of terrible sequels and remakes, the horror movie genre is undergoing something of a renaissance of late with the excellent Babadook and this week's It Follows leading the charge.
Both films are driven by strong performances from up-and-coming female stars (Essie Davis and Maika Monroe), which brings to mind a classic horror movie trope: the Final Girl. Most prevalent in slasher films, the Final Girl is the last character standing who confronts a killer/ghost/demon and lives to tell the tale.
Digital Spy looks back at 7 of our favourite horror movie Final Girls, why they're iconic and what they're up to now...

Many horror fans thought Drew Barrymore would end up being Scream's Final Girl when they first watched Wes Craven's 1996 horror, but the director offed her in the opening moments leaving Neve Campbell's Sidney Prescott to face down Ghostface.

"In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes," it's claimed Andy Warhol once said. Some stars shine much brighter than others, though, and in the case of Hollywood we often see actors hit big early before disappearing without trace.
Brandon Routh, who delivered a sensitive and assured turn as the Man of Steel in 2006's Superman Returns, is one such example. Routh never quite got the breaks he deserved after landing that life-changing role, so it's nice to see him back in the superhero game with an upcoming role as Atom in Arrow.

Plucked from relative obscurity to lead Bryan Singer's lavish Superman sequel, Routh impressively channelled Christopher Reeve on his big screen debut but found leading man roles difficult to come by in the aftermath.
