- Monty Margetts was born on July 26, 1912 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She was an actress, known for The Red Skelton Hour (1951), Mission: Impossible (1966) and Sweet November (1968). She died on February 27, 1997 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.
- Was originated cast as Alice on TV's "The Brady Bunch", but was dropped when Florence Henderson was cast as Mrs. Brady.
- In 1949, she became one of KTLA's biggest stars by hosting Los Angeles' first televised cooking show, "Cook's Corner", even though she did not know how to cook.
