After he failed to move out of home on July 1st (as he agreed with his landlord that he would), he was reported to police as missing on July 8, 2019, by his son. On July 12 his car was discovered, and on July 14, human remains were found nearby, which the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety described as having a high probability of being Levin's, which was later confirmed.
