Daniel Bryan has revealed a range of personal insights in his new book, ‘Yes!: My Improbable Journey to the Main Event of WrestleMania’.
He surprisingly goes into details about the first time he had sex with Brie Bella. Unfortunately, Ted Dibiase Jr and Sheamus walked in on them.
“We were naked and about to do our thing when all of a sudden we heard the sound of the door handle turning and then the door popped open. Bri jumped under the covers as Teddy and Sheamus barged into the room, inebriated as can be, wit the ‘Ahhh fella!’ and all that.”
He also reveals one WWE superstar had a terrible attitude and treated him meanly when he first joined WWE. That man was Ezekiel Jackson, who himself had only been with WWE for a short time. The incident went down on a plane, when Jackson boarded and demanded...

Tna has posted the following video which aired on last night’s episode of Impact, hyping the debut of a new star.
The name in question is Jessicka Havok, 28 year old independent wrestler out of Ohio. While there is no timetable set on her debut, the company seems poised to continue releasing teasers for her upcoming debut for several weeks, through their next set of New York tapings.
Havok is a ten year ring veteran, and has competed for the likes of Combat Zone Wrestling, Women Superstars Uncensored, Full Impact Pro, and many others. At 6 feet tall and 170 pounds Havok isn’t the prototypical girl in which Tna features, but will have a unique look that could give her an edge in the promotion. In 2013, Havoc was ranked #4 among the top 50 female singles wrestlers, as voted on by Pro Wrestling Illustrated.

Tna Wrestling is currently without a new deal for their flagship Impact program, but that isn’t stopping them from hyping their next set of tapings from the Manhattan Center next week.
The company has said there will be a major announcement regarding the tapings, which will be the second set in which Tna has done from the arena, which hosted Monday Night Raw during its early years.
Tna has already announced that former Ecw and WWE superstar Yoshihiro Tajiri will be present at the show, continuing the trend of former Ecw stars appearing on the program. Recently both Rhino and Tommy Dreamer have been brought in to participate in a high-profile program with surging star Ethan Carter III and Bully Ray. Ray’s longtime tag team partner Devon Dudley also made his return to the show during the last set of tapings, which has received positive reviews from fans.

It was quite the week we had in professional wrestling. We watched Damien Sandow dress up as LeBron James for the second time (are they already out of ideas?), witnessed Stephanie McMahon finally go to jail, and saw Plan C go into effect with the return of Brock Lesnar. The rumor is Plan D was Mordecai coming back to battle Cena, and Plan E just may have been Simon Dean. Speaking of Cena, congratulations to him on winning his 14th straight televised match this week, which he hasn’t done since 2007. It’s comforting to know that despite all the trouble in the world, there’s one man on the planet who is impervious to being held on the ground for three seconds.
Sure, there was probably a good thing or two that happened as well. Off the top of my head, I’ll say Daniel Bryan thwarting two burglars,...

A lot of people have been talking about Benjamin Morris’ 538 piece, “Are Pro Wrestlers Dying at an Unusual Rate?”
Like Morris, I am neither an actuarial scientist nor a demographer. So, our interpretations of the data should be taken with a grain of salt. My results were somewhat different from Morris’ due to a difference data set and changes in how we calculated actuarial predictions.

I also used Social Security Actuarial Life Tables, but my “expected mortality rates” for the age groups were not the same as Morris’. For each wrestler, I calculated what their age would have been as of today. Then, based on gender, I looked up the number of lives (out of 100,000) that were expected to still be alive and converted that to a percentage. His analysis looked at wrestlers who were on 20+ WWF PPVs through 2002. I went with a...

Nxt’s impact on the future of the WWE was spotlighted this past Monday on Raw. The show after WrestleMania has become known for its shocking moments, surprise returns and big debuts. We all remember last year when Dolph Ziggler cashed in his Money In The Bank contract and defeated Alberto Del Rio to become the World Champion. The year before that, Brock Lesnar returned to the WWE to greet John Cena with an F5.
This year’s post WrestleMania Raw was centered around many Nxt talents. After weeks of hype, Alexander Rusev had his first singles match on Raw and squashed Zack Ryder. In what may have been the most shocking moment of the night, Nxt Divas Champion Paige made her debut and won the WWE Divas title. She made history becoming the first wrestler to hold an Nxt title and WWE title at the same time.

Ever since the beginning of Professional Wrestling, there have been title belts. Much like every professional, there has to be a goal, something to strive for, something to aim for. Footballers have trophies, cricket players have a small urn, chef’s have stars, actors have Oscars and musicians have gold records and Grammy’s. Pro wrestlers have title belts.
The notion of a title belt may seem unusual to those that don’t watch any kind of combat sport, like Mma, boxing or wrestling, but it’s what we know as the ultimate goal. If we’re all being honest with ourselves, we all had a replica of a title belt growing up, I know I personally had many, and I’m very sure most, if not every person reading this had at least one as well.
This list takes titles from the 4 major pro wrestling promotions, 2 of which are no longer in existence,...

At the origins of the WWE Championship, we can immediately see the legendary status that Bruno Sammartino has in the eyes of all wrestling fans. The most fundamental statistic in his astonishing career is of course the 2,803 consecutive days for which he held the then Wwwf Championship between 1963 and 1971. Of course, nowadays such a feat in the WWE is virtually unheard to the extent that current WWE Champ Cm Punk’s title reign is considered incredibly long, and he has held the title “only” 325 days.
This change can be viewed in a number of ways. Sammartino at the time of his championship reigns was the biggest star in wrestling, as was Hulk Hogan during the majority of his WWE Championship reigns. The fans would back these superstars to the hilt, and would never want to see them lose a single match, let alone the championship. The devotion to Sammartino was so great,...

I have been a fan of professional wrestling since before I knew how to tie my shoes properly. My first Wrestlemania was IX, and I remember screaming in octaves I would never reach again at the conclusion of X when Bret Hart won the then-wwf Title from Yokozuna. Somehow, I managed to reach those octaves again when I sat at Madison Square Garden ten years later and watched Chris Benoit force Triple H to tap out. So enamored was I with the world of wrestling that I trained and became a referee, learned the ins and outs of the business and incredibly, found myself on the other side of the ropes.
In 2007, a combination of the Benoit events and other circumstances in my life took me away from wrestling for several years. I never wanted to give it up, but to put it simply, I had no choice. I dealt...

Mexican wrestling publication Super Luchas Magazine reports that Ezekiel Jackson recently failed the WWE Wellness Policy. Jackson reportedly failed for testing positive for high levels of synthetic testosterone.
However, Jackson avoided the usual 30 day suspension for a first violation as he was able to provide a valid prescription from his doctor for taking the unnamed banned substance.
The report from Super Luchas claims to solve the mystery of the third WWE superstar who failed the WWE Wellness Policy in quick succession after Randy Orton (who is currently serving his 60 day suspension for his second violation) and Cody Rhodes. Although in the case of the latter, just like Jackson, Rhodes was able to provide a valid prescription from his doctor for the banned drug he was taking and he also avoided suspension, though was forced to drop the WWE Intercontinental Championship to Christian at WWE Extreme Rules when it looked certain...

On Monday morning, the WWE ‘Board of Directors’ announced on WWE.com that WrestleMania 28 will have a 12-man tag match between Team Laurinaitis and Team Long. The winning Gm will gain sole control of both the Raw and SmackDown brands.
Officially announced for the two teams to date are;
Team Laurinatis: David Otunga (team Captain) and Mark Henry.
Team Long: Santino Marella (team Captain)
Expected to be added to both teams are;
Team Laurinatis: Christian, Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger.
Team Long: Kofi Kingston, R-Truth, Ezekiel Jackson, The Great Khali and one more participant which could be Rey Mysterio (if fit to return) or Evan Bourne (unless he is still in the dog house). It would have made sense to put Drew McIntyre into the match on Team Long and have him turn to Team Laurinatis but that doesn’t seem to be on the cards now...

The current idea for the John Laurinaitis and Teddy Long feud over the General Managership of both the Raw and SmackDown shows is expected to culminate in a ‘Winner Takes All’ multi-man tag match at WrestleMania 28.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that a match involving a Laurinaitis captained team of heels would face a Long captained babyface team, with the winning captain becoming the permanent General Manager of both shows.
With the endorsement for Laurinaitis from the returning trio of Alberto Del Rio, Mark Henry and Christian, along with his lawyer David Otunga… we would probably suggest that is one team. Long’s team is less certain but could possibly include Randy Orton, Santino Marella, Drew McIntyre (which would be a good idea to do a storyline where Drew starts winning matches and ends up getting a place on the team, before turning on Long to join Johnny Ace’s...

1) Big Show & Great Khali defeated Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes. Post-match, Big Show turns on Khali and takes him out, turning fully fledged heel.
Mark Henry is backstage and says he wants a spot at the Elimination Chamber match. Big Show walked in and said he wanted to face Daniel Bryan later tonight now that Randy Orton won’t be appearing. Long says no and Show gets pissed, lays out Henry and messes up Long’s office.

Last night’s annual WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view from St. Louis, Missouri was a memorable show with Sheamus being the most unexpected victor in years. Sheamus last eliminated Chris Jericho to win the Rumble and he will now go on to face the Champion of his choice at WWE WrestleMania 28.
Elsewhere, there were many surprise entrants and a few of which we predicted. Entering at number 8 was Alberto Del Rio’s personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez, with his car and similar attire. Though unlike how we predicted it, there was no Del Rio on hand earlier in the show to pitch to John Laurinaitis to give Rodriguez a slot in the Rumble representing Del Rio (so i.e. if Rodriguez won, Del Rio would headline WrestleMania in the title match) and instead it was just a surprise entry. Rodriguez got a huge pop from the ground, actually dwarfing that of...

1) Justin Gabriel def Heath Slater. The losing streak continues!
2) Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes def. Ezekiel Jackson in what we believe was a non-title match.
3) Ted Dibiase def. Drew McIntyre. Hunico was out doing commentary and talking trash on Dibiase so it looks like a program between the pair is well underway. Expect them two to clash during the Royal Rumble match.

Last night’s WWE SmackDown tapings from Indianapolis, Indiana took place last night and will air on Friday. Here is the spoiler report;
Dark Match
Skip Sheffield def. Seth Rollins (this was Rollins’ first match in front of a crowd for the WWE).
SmackDown stars…
Booker T opens the show but is interrupted by Cody Rhodes. This brings out Dustin Rhodes (aka Goldust but without his makeup) and he defends his former tag team partner and says not to talk about the Legends in this way. Booker T says because he won on Raw last night he wants a rematch with Cody for the Intercontinental Title match next week. Booker leaves (it’s not clear whether Cody accepted the challenge or not) and Rhodes attacks his brother, which leads to Booker running back in to make the save.
1) Jinder Mahal def. Ted Dibiase

Tonight’s WWE Super SmackDown live show came from Charlotte, North Carolina with snow falling from the rafters. Mick Foley is on the stage dressed as Santa Claus and reveals that he is a huge fan of Christmas, even if we are still in November and four weeks away from the jolly event. Foley hypes up the World Heavyweight Title Steel Cage match tonight and announces a ‘Miracle on 34th Street Fight’ and a “All You Want For Christmas Battle Royal’. The winner of the Battle Royal will get their special wish granted by Santa. Foley said that on Raw he promised us no Michael Cole but Cole’s legal team and iron clad contract got him on but it didn’t stop Foley being able to dress him like a goof. Cole comes out dressed as Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and isn’t happy.

WWE 12 will finally hit stores on Tuesday (in the U.S.) and on Friday (in the U.K.) and after some stellar reviews in the last few days, I don’t remember being this excited about a wrestling video game in years. IGN’s 9.0 scoring review mentioned the gameplay was ‘No Mercy like’ several times and there is actually a combat system here that makes sense and isn’t just a flashy presentation with no substance to the graphics. But then they still have the graphics and all the cool modes and the first time, Thq’s video game franchise feels like it belongs on the shelf alongside the mastered EA sports franchises of FIFA and Madden. IGN overall called it ‘amazing’.
Over the past few months, Thq have teased us as to what wrestlers will be included in the game and now on the eve of release we have a final figure.

WWE tapings in Hershey, Pa
Dark Match:
Justin Gabriel defeats Kenny Dykstra (former member of the Spirit Squad getting a try-out match)
Nxt tapings:

2) Jtg defeated Yoshi Tatsu.
3) Titus O’Neil defeated Tyler Reks.
Superstars tapings;

SmackDown tapings;
SmackDown opens with Mark Henry beating up Daniel Bryan backstage (I wish the guy who attended who could into more details… was this a cold opening on the beat down or what?) and Henry brings him to the ring and gives him a World’s Strongest Slam. WWE officials pulled Bryan out of harm’s way and then Henry cut a promo on the Big Show for their Survivor Series rematch. Hopefully they mentioned that Henry got fined or something otherwise it’s not a positive message to put out there for a company who support anti-bullying campaigns.

Smackdown 11/11/11. Liverpool, England
11/11/11 I just like writing it. Hunico has made it into the opening credits already. That black taxi can only mean one thing. We’re in England for Smackdown, in “The home of the Beatles” Liverpool.
Randy Orton joins us in the ring with a microphone telling us that he doesn’t play well with others despite being a Survivor Series captain. He says every group he’s had has imploded with him doing something horrible to people who once were his friends. He however says he has no problem being captain since hes a leader not a follower. He has no problem beating up Rhodes, shutting up Christian, doesn’t have a problem dealing with Swagger and Hunico and especially has no problem…Well Wade Barrett was the only man left, but he’s coming to the ring now instead. Not a great reception for the UK’s own Wade Barrett.

Smackdown (7/10/2011)
First we recap Triple H losing control, and the whole locker room walking out on him. And when we join Smackdown, Teddy Long is on the phone with Hhh. Zack Ryder wants to know what’s going on. Teddy says Smackdown is being left to him, since he doesn’t want to risk the same thing happening on Smackdown. “Raw’s loss is Smackdown’s gain.”
Excuse Me! In the ring is Vickie Guerrero, Jack Swagger, Christian, Wade Barrett, Otunga, Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler. Christian welcomes us to “the Walkout.” He says this all happened because he had the courage to stand up to Hhh. “Triple H” chant from the crowd. Dolph takes the mic. He says the walkout was because of all of them banding together. Otunga explains that Hhh has made an unsafe work environment on Raw so they’ve walked until he is not in charge of day to day operations.

Live from New Orleans
Miz and R-Truth had brought tickets to see the show but Laurentis came down with security and had them escorted out of the arena.
Match: Sheamus defeated Christian via pinfall
Solid opener. Sheamus was on top early but after being knocked off the top turnbuckle to the outside he appeared to lose his bearings and could often barely stand whilst throwing erratic punches. They put this over really well during several mat exchanges and it made Sheamus look very courageous in the process.
After numerous counters and reversals it appeared that Christian had the match won when he took out Sheamus with a sphere on the outside and another one inside the ring but this only earnt him a near fall. Sensing that he had to raise the stakes somewhat Christian went to the top rope and attempted a diving headbutt but Sheamus rolled out of the way.

On a sweltering August night at Madison Square Garden in the heart of New York City, two up-and-coming WWE superstars did battle in a hotly contested, hugely anticipated ladder match that would be talked about for years to come. Triple H and The Rock would go on to have multiple reigns as WWE Champions, and in the process, become some of the biggest superstars in WWE history. It wasn’t the WWE Title they were vying for at Summerslam ’98, but rather, the coveted Intercontinental Championship.
Fast forward to Wrestlemania 2000 in Anaheim, California. Three tag teams putting their bodies on the line in a main event caliber ladder match for the WWE Tag Team Championship. Three of those six men would go on to become World Champion.

The Big News: Randy Orton defeated Cody Rhodes in an exciting main event match up. His celebration was short lived however as Mark Henry arrived shortly afterwards and took the viper to the mat with the world’s strongest slam before pressing a chair against the champs neck whilst taunting him.
They aired a really cool, grainy and snappily edited video package of Mark Henry’s recent path of destruction to start the show.
Mark Henry came out and talked about the hall of pain claiming that his best years are not behind him despite being in the industry for fifteen years. He then promised to win the title at Night of Champions.
Zak Ryder came out and told Henry that Theodore Long had instigated a no contact policy between Orton and Henry prior to their match of Night at Champions. Both men however would be in action tonight in separate warm up matches.

The Big News: Randy Orton defeated Khali in the main event whilst a previously hesitant Christian changed his tune in coming to realise the positive implications of a no hallsbarred encounter.
Triple H started the show. He droned on relentlessly before finally hitting home the point that he’s under a ton of pressure as the new Chief Operating Officer but is loving every minute of his role. He put over the upcoming Cena and Punk match a SummerSlam as being one of the biggest in history and then turned his attention to Smackdown, booking a series of matches including an Intercontinental Title clash with Jackson defending against Cody Rhodes, a Money in the Bank versus Money in the Bank bout between Alberto Del Rio and Daniel Bryan, and a World Championship warm up match for Randy Orton who was pitted against Khali.

The Big News: Christian gets the better off Randy Orton in tag team action whilst Sheamus continues to antagonise Mark Henry.
Show began with a video recap of Mark Henry’s recent destruction before changing tone to highlight Sheamus standing up to him from last week. The question asked was whether or not Henry had finally met his match.
Match: Sheamus defeated Khali via pinfall
Before the match it was confirmed by the announcers that Sheamus will meet Mark Henry at Summerslam. As such this clash with the 7ft plus Indian was very much designed to put the Dubliner over as a big threat to Mark Henry’s dominance.
It was actually a surprisingly decent affair considering just how clumsy and incompetent Khali is inside the squared circle. Khali got on top early with various clotheslines and big slaps before Sheamus powered back by trapping his opponent in the ropes...

Triple H came out to start the show. He addressed the Raw World title situation by stating that both the recently resigned Cm Punk and John Cena have legitimate claims to the WWE title throne and that he will attempt to figure out a solution by Monday night.
He then turned his attention to the Smackdown world title and was quickly interrupted by the World Heavyweight champ Christian who ironically complained about Teddy Long sucking up to Randy Orton whilst trying to suck up to Hunter himself.
