A new film and television studio complex is to built in Scotland, it was announced yesterday. Land has successfully been purchased for the development of Stirling Studios at Forthside. Where possible, existing buildings on the site will be retained and redeveloped, with additional work being done to create 100,000 sq ft of studio space and 110,000 sq ft for production, logistics and office space, making it one of the biggest such sites in the country.
Stirling's central position in Scotland, and the lower costs involved in building and resourcing a site outside the Central Belt, will be significant advantages in both development and the running of the complex. Stirling has a fair sized train station and is well connected by road. As a popular conference location, it also has a good supply of hotel accommodation to provide for...

Spoiler Alert: This interview contains spoilers from “The Last Supper Part Two: Entrée,” the Season 2 finale of “And Just Like That,” now streaming on Max.
“And just like that … I ordered two more Cosmopolitans” — that’s Carrie Bradshaw’s last line, delivered in her signature voiceover, in the Season 2 finale of “And Just Like That.”
Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) delivers that proclamation as she relaxes on a beautiful beach, alongside her friend Seema (Sarita Choudhury). “We ran at love,” Seema says earlier in the scene. “And where did that get us?” Carrie answers simply, “Greece.”
Both women have fallen in love during the second season of the “Sex and the City” revival, and for now, are seemingly at peace with the challenges ahead of them. Carrie has accepted that Aidan (John Corbett) — her old love, now renewed — needs to be home in Virginia for his kids for the next five years.

Developed by Michael Patrick King, the Max original takes place 11 years after the “Sex and the City 2” movie. Instead of following four friends in their 30s, the spinoff follows three of the main friends in their 50s as they navigate friendship, careers, new romances and the complicated rules of dating later in life.
TheWrap already broke down Kim Cattrall’s return as Samantha Jones. But if you’re curious how the season ended for everyone else, here’s what you need to know.

Max officially renewed And Just Like That… ahead of its much-anticipated season two finale which will feature the return of Kim Cattrall as Samantha. Season two episode 11 – part two of “The Last Supper” – finally delivers the cameo fans of the original foursome have eagerly anticipated.
Even though Samatha won’t be sharing scenes with her former Sex and the City co-stars, Cattrall will be seen in a cameo, styled by Patricia Field and shot in secret. In an interview on Today with Hoda and Jenna, Kim Cattrall confirmed that shopping in Bergdorf’s and picking out a great outfit for her cameo felt like dipping her toe back in time and having a wonderful afternoon.
However, fans shouldn’t expect Kim Cattrall back for the just-announced third season. It seems this short cameo is a one-off and not a precursor to an extended return as Samantha.

For 25 years, Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and others in their orbit (especially their unforgettable fourth bestie, Samantha), have pushed boundaries. In the 1990s and early 2000s, the friends — then in their 30s — normalized the idea of women as sexual beings and depicted women’s full lives as inclusive of both work and play. As far-fetched as the show could be (how did a freelance advice columnist afford racks of Jimmy Choo shoes? Where were all the New Yorkers who were not rich and white?), Sex and the City entertained while it educated.
Fast forward to And Just Like That, developed by Michael Patrick King and written by a diverse writers room. The series focuses on the group of women, now in their 50s — a demographic too rarely featured as speaking characters on television. And it does so in affirming ways that could be transformational for cultural perceptions of women, work, family and care.

In episode seven of And Just Like That season two, Nicole Ari Parker’s Lisa Todd Wexley faces the kind of personal invasion by her eldest son that not even his father, Herbert (Christopher Jackson), can excuse.
Herbert Wexley Jr. (played by Elijah Jacob) has allowed a girl he’s interested in — and who visibly does not respect Lisa’s authority — to enter his mother’s most sacred of spaces: Her closet.
Fashion has always been a sticking point for Sex and the City and its streaming continuation, And Just Like That. But much of the audience’s time spent in a closet has been with Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw and, to a smaller degree, Kristin Davis’ Charlotte York, who gets her own closet-based journey this season thanks to daughter Lily (Cathy Ang).

Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) is moving on.
Max unveiled the official trailer for And Just Like That Season 2 on Friday, and we finally have some insight into some of the big returns.
In the exciting fresh footage from the Sex and the City revival's second season, Carrie reaches out to her ex-fiance Aidan (John Corbett).
In true Carrie fashion, she sends an email, and before we know it, they're back in each other's company.
Whether they'll make a lasting impression enough to get back together, we don't know, but there were many Aidan and Carrie fans when the show was initially on the air.
Carrie is still trying to bounce back following the death of Big (played by Chris Noth).
Aidan points out how much time has passed in the snap of a finger, but will these two have a future?
Unfortunately, the clip does not feature Carrie's former...

Carrie Bradshaw is moving on in the return of And Just Like That.
The official trailer for season two of the hit HBO sequel series to Sex and the City picks up more than one year after Big’s (Chris Noth) sudden death and sees Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) focused on moving on. Not only has she realized how to use her kitchen (“Did you know stoves aren’t just for storage?” she asks), but she’s also dating and reaching out to the former flame that viewers have been waiting for.
Toward the end of the nearly two-minute first look (below), Carrie sends Aidan Shaw (John Corbett) an email. A closer look reveals the note reads: “Hey Stranger … Remember me? If this is still your email, it’s me — Carrie. Was just thinking about you the other day … and I wondered how you were doing. So, how ya doing?...

Carrie Bradshaw is moving on, and moving up.
The latest trailer for “Sex and the City” revival series “And Just Like That” teases the return of Aidan (John Corbett) as Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) deepens her dating pool following the death of her husband Mr. Big (Chris Noth). Best friends Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) juggle parenthood with sex and marriage with middle age, all in the Big Apple.
The new sneak peek at the season comes on the stiletto heels of the major announcement that Kim Cattrall will be reprising her iconic role of Samantha in a sole scene for the second season. Famed costume designer Patricia Field is also back to dress the PR maven, who has since relocated to London and was communicating with Carrie only via text message.
Showrunner Michael Patrick King previously said in February 2022 that Cattrall was never considered to appear in “Ajlt.

It's almost time for Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Aidan's (John Corbett) big reunion, and we're already counting down the days.
HBO Max announced And Just Like That.., its wildly successful Sex and the City follow-up, will return for its second season in June.
Unfortunately, we didn't find out which day in June it will be back, but still, it will be back.
Hooray, right?
The teaser trailer also puts Carrie and Aidan back together, which should make for a fun dynamic.
The jumping-off point for the revival season focused on Carrie's reaction to Mr. Big's death (Chris Noth), and her attempt to rebuild her life.
It's unclear how many episodes John Corbett will be sticking around for, but it's hard to imagine this being a short-term affair.
Corbett initially appeared on Sex and the City Season 3 and stayed with the series until the sixth and final season.

“And just like that, I realized some things are better left in the past. But maybe not everything,” Carrie teases in voiceover as her former flame makes his anticipated return to the franchise.

“And Just Like That,” the hit “Sex and the City” spinoff from HBO Max (soon to be just Max), dropped its first Season 2 teaser trailer Wednesday, showcasing the glamorous, casual sex-filled life of our widowed hero Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) — only for it to be interrupted by a reunion with her ex-fiance Aidan (John Corbett).
Along with its teaser, the streamer revealed that the series will return this June.
The series stars original “Sex and the City” cast members Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis — all of whom also executive produce with Michael Patrick King. Joining them are returning series regulars Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Christopher Jackson, Niall Cunningham, Cathy Ang, and Alexa Swinton.
The last we saw of Corbett’s Aidan was in the franchise’s “Sex And The City 2” feature film in 2010, which had Carrie running into him in Abu Dhabi.

She grew up with “beautiful Italian” meals, the smell of Bolognese sauce, and a childhood full of music. As an Italian American, Kelsea Ballerini remembers hearing “classic crooners” like Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra blasting through the stereo. Here’s what we know about this country artist.
