- A graduate of Stirling University Jules was awarded the second David Jacobs Scholarship and found herself transported to LA and UCLA Graduate film school in 1991. One of her first practical experiences in the media was as an intern on Baywatch.
On completing her Masters degree she worked for three years in the production division of The British Film Institute assisting in the development of film and artist talent such as Andrea Arnold, Simon Beaufoy, Shane Meadows, Andrew Kötting, Carol Morley, Lynne Ramsey, Annie Griffin, Sarah Turner.......
Jules went freelance in 1997 and has worked her way up through docs to drama docs to line producing award winning dramas such as "Five Daughters" and "Complicit".
As a producer in HETV TV drama she continues to work on projects which challenge perceptions and stereotypes. These include "Babs', "Guilt" and "You Don't Know Me".
Jules has produced in South Africa, Qatar, Latvia, Lithuania, Latvia, Glasgow, Birmingham and Catford.....a long journey from 1990's "Baywatch" days!
Jules has been riding a motorbike longer than she has been making TV and she is possibly better known for her amazing dog bark than she is her producing skills.- IMDb Mini Biography By: herself
- Jules can bark like a dog so realistically that she worked with news crews at Crufts for 6 years and is recognised by the Kennel Club of Great Britain. Jules' dog ADR work is represented by 'sync or swim' 07973 563827.
