- Julia Ward Howe was born on May 27, 1819 in New York City, New York, USA. She was a writer, known for The Manchurian Candidate (2004), Captive State (2019) and Kick-Ass (2010). She was married to Samuel Gridley Howe. She died on October 17, 1910 in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, USA.
