- Costume designer, first at 20th Century Fox, 1931-1935, 1943-1950. Mostly involved with serialised B-movies, such as Charlie Chan and Mr.Moto. At MGM from 1951, having graduated to A-grade films like Quo Vadis (1951) and with a promising career ahead of him. Died suddenly aged 43, in 1956.
