So yes. I sing. 'You sing?' People often ask? Yes. I do. I write (mostly) silly songs and I sing them. For awhile I had a band with Shawnee Smith. We did a pilot together and we got to talking one day and she asked me what I really wanted. And I said. To be in a band. That would be heaven. and she said. "Ok. I'll do it with you. But just know. Its not all its cracked up to be. You'll be disappointed."

Just in case kinda-but-not-really reuniting Nirvana with Paul McCartney wasn't enough to get you excited about Dave Grohl's new Sound City documentary, the Foo Fighters frontman just confirmed plans to perform live with a brand-new all-star band featuring musicians and guest performers from the film.
"After each premiere we could have a show with musicians,” Grohl gushed with RollingStone.com last month. "They’d not only play music from the film, but from their catalogs as well. We could do it in a Hammerstein or Roseland and pack the bill with the coolest bands in the world . . . We aren’t far away from this. Pretty soon, everyone will hear what our big plan is. We’ve been planning it for a long fucking time."
