- Started in Scenario Department at Welwyn Studios and Pinewood. She was Production Secretary on Brief Encounter (1945) and Caesar and Cleopatra (1945) at Denham Studios. She first went on floor as Asst Continuity on While the Sun Shines (1947) at Shepperton. Her first screen credit was for Brass Monkey (1948), at the age of twenty (still under her maiden name). Worked on many of the early Hammer Films, and has been a familiar sight on Film Sets across Britain and Europe ever since.
