'Britain's Got Talent' sensation Henry Gallagher is set to ask out his schoolgirl crush who he wrote his song about. The 12-year-old musician was too shy to approach the girl who inspired his song 'Lightning', but getting four votes to go through from judges Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon on the ITV show on Saturday night (18.04.15) has given him the confidence boost he needed to ask for a date upon his return to school today (20.04.15). Henry said: ''Fingers crossed I'll get a date! Amanda Holden said I would get her within two seconds but I'm still...

Britain's Got Talent returned tonight (April 18) for the second episode of series nine, and we were treated to another hit of the golden buzzer.
Tonight's varied acts included a young girl and her sword, a puppet refusing to go in a cannon and a jaw-dropping card trick which, in the words of Simon Cowell, made him "believe in magic".
Digital Spy rounds up Twitter's reaction to the evening's events below:
People were impressed (and terrified) by nine-year-old Jesse Jane McParland's sword skills
Another thing I apparently have at home? #Bgt

It was another crazy night on Britain's Got Talent, with more acts hoping to impress the judges and make it through to the next round of the competition. As always, some were more successful than others. Read on for the good, the bad and the bizarre from tonight's show!
The Good
Jesse Jane McParland - 9, Northern Ireland
Talent: Martial arts
Tell us more: We're a little bit in love with adorable Jesse Jane. The little firecracker - a "dinky little thing" as Alesha described her - came across like butter wouldn't melt when she first stood on stage... and then blew the judges away with a spectacular, back-flipping, sword-waving martial arts performance, complete with a terrifying face. "Well done!" Ant called at her, murmuring to us: "Best to keep on her good side." We'll agree with that one - Simon Cowell even suggested she could work as his security guard.

Britain's Got Talent hopeful Henry Gallagher melts Alesha Dixon's heart in this weekend's show when he performs an original song about a girl he has a crush on.
Gallagher explains before his audition that he would be "really happy" if the object of his affections noticed him, before winning over the audience with his song 'Lightning'.
Dixon can barely take it, gasping at the cute lyrics and saying: "Oh, come on!"
But viewers will have to wait until Saturday night to find out whether Gallagher has done enough to make it through to the next round.
Also on the show this weekend are dance troupe Boyband, who seem to confuse the judges with their name.
Simon Cowell seems concerned about the group before their audition, asking them: "Is this serious?"
But the audience are soon cheering about their routine set to 'Uptown Funk', so will they manage to win...

Sarah Michelle Gellar
Because I have a "thing" for Sarah Michelle Gellar, I must admit that I came into the Ringer panel at Comic Con as a biased spectator. While I obviously don't harbor any sexual longing for her, during her years as a '90s teen icon I still developed something of a platonic crush, first during her run on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and later with roles in films like I Know What You Did Last Summer and Cruel Intentions.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to make the Comic-Con screening of the pilot, so I have no idea whether or not it was any good (though I've heard raves from the rest of the AfterElton.com staff). However, the plot, which has Gellar playing a dual role as estranged twin sisters Bridget/Siobhan, sounds intriguing enough.
Bridget is the recovering alcoholic on the run from the mob, who takes over wealthy,...
