Hunt's 1776 (1972), a largely forgotten film musical based on the Broadway hit with music by Sherman Edwards. William Daniels, who was recently on TCM talking about 1776 and a couple of other movies (A Thousand Clowns, Dodsworth), has one of the key roles as John Adams. Howard Da Silva, blacklisted for over a decade after being named a communist during the House Un-American Committee hearings of the early 1950s (Robert Taylor was one who mentioned him in his testimony), plays Benjamin Franklin. Word comes by way of GameReactor (via WCCFTech), where Lead Quest Designer David Ford revealed that these features will incorporate weapon and outfit modifications, lending users the opportunity to tweak the appearance of Horizon‘s lead as they see fit.

Fusion, ABC and Univision’s new network aimed at young English-speaking Hispanics in the U.S., has appointed David Ford as VP Corporate Communications. He joins Fusion from the ABC News PR team and will oversee all external and internal communications for Fusion based at its Miami headquarters starting in mid-September. Most recently, Ford oversaw media relations for ABC’s World News With Diane Sawyer, as well as the network’s Washington Bureau and ABC’s investigative team led by Brian Ross.
