Isla Fisher appeared on Tuesday's episode of Lights Out With David Spade, where she compared her vagina to a pufferfish. The topic came up after David Spade claimed dolphins can get high off of toxins from pufferfish. "Looks like my drug dealer has some competition with my sushi guy," the host joked. He then asked the Wedding Crashers star if she had a pufferfish at home. "Yeah, my vagina," she quipped. "And it also releases a poisonous toxin when animals go try to eat it." Greg Fitzsimmons then joked he had a new idea for SeaWorld. "Just toss a couple of those in the dolphin tank. It's like spiking the punch," he said. "When they throw...

HBO has canceled Crashing after three seasons. This Sunday’s Season 3 ender now will serve as the series finale, Deadline has confirmed.

Apatow announced the cancellation on TBS’ Conan (sort of).

There are so many chicken jokes this season. After Amia goes to see Louie perform at the Cellar and deflects some leering, perverted comments from Jim Norton, she crowds around the table with Louie, Nick Dipaolo, Greg Fitzsimmons, and Todd Barry for dinner. Everyone talks around her, mostly about how lonely Louie will be when she leaves, with Fitzsimmons chiming in that Louie is actually afraid to be lonely. It would explain why he usually ends up on the batshit-crazy end of the dating spectrum; people who are afraid to be alone would rather have chaos than the empty maw of their own thoughts staring back at them. Louie is usually alone, but being alone is different from being lonely. All of this in-depth philosophical conversation is set to the soundtrack of Todd Barry saying “AIDS” to the tune of “Smoke on the Water” while drumming on the table. Of...

Andy Dick, no stranger to stirring controversy and alienating large groups of people, called shock jock Howard Stern a “shallow, money-grubbing Jew,” Tuesday. The comedian fired against Stern on the "Greg Fitzsimmons Show," calling the radio host a "big fat hook nose," and "miserly." Dick claims he still hasn't been paid for "The S*** Show," a program he has hosted for several years on Stern's Sirius Radio channel, Howard 101, starting in 2006 “For two years I did the show and never got paid,” the comedian complained. Stern shot back after a caller informed him...

This is a new low for Andy Dick. The often legally troubled comic started an all-out war with Howard Stern this week, launching into an anti-Semitic rant while a guest on the Greg Fitzsimmons Show Tuesday. A shocked Stern fired back hard on his Sirius satellite radio show. So what exactly did Dick say? You won't believe what came out of his mouth... On Fitzsimmons' show, Dick spewed that the radio legend was a "shallow, money-grubbing Jew" with a "big fat hook nose." Where's all this coming from? That's exactly what Stern asked on his show, sounding disappointed and angry when he replayed the shocking interview on his own show. "Wow....

Radio host Howard Stern has never held back when it comes to saying what he feels, and this time it's with good cause.
Stern fired back at troubled comedian Andy Dick, who went on an anti-Semtic rant on the Greg Fitzsimmons show on Tuesday, calling Stern "a shallow, money-grubbing Jew," reports Radar.
Dick also reportedly said of Stern, "I have no problem with his big fat hook nose ... and his money-grubbing, miserly Jewishness."
Dick told Fitzsimmons that Stern "used to be a really great friend" but is furious with the self-proclaimed "King of All Media" after he hung up on him during a call-in appearance with Charlie Sheen earlier this year, and took shots at him with co-host Robin Quivers afterwards.
Stern was told about Dick's comments by one of his listeners while on air, but wasn't surprised Dick would sink so low.

Tonight we have another instance of "Monday Night Football" happening on a night that is actually Monday which is comforting. There's a show premiering on ABC Family that is based around the always entertaining and not at all gimmicky premise of long lost twins, one of whom was in the foster system and one of whom was adopted by wealthy parents who decide to switch places. First of all, who adopts one identical twin and not the other and secondly, unless it's a delightful romp with Hayley Mills or possibly the adorable child that Lindsay Lohan used to be the whole twins switching places thing is not a great idea. Also, do twins actually ever switch places? Do we have any identical twins here who can let me know? Thanks. Here's your Monday night TV:

Summer series are premiering tonight which is exciting but not in that way that anyone's blocked off their evening and tripled checked the DVR to make sure things record, but in the way that you go "oh, well that's nice" when you find out about it and then you forget to watch anyway and give the whole endeavor up to massive indifference. So, not actually exciting at all, really. I am intrigued by the concept of "Wilfred" because Elijah Wood playing crazy is something I can really and truly get behind. Frankly, ever since Sin City happened it's hard for me to see him as anything else which makes the whole Lord of the Rings movies a touch more disturbing to watch. Also it's apparently Mahler night on PBS and while Mahler has never been one of my absolute favorites I know that his fans tend to be pretty devoted...

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Today we celebrate the brilliance of Corona's marketing team in discerning that Americans are extremely fond of cultural holidays that we perceive to be centered around drinking themed alcohol (see: St.Patrick's Day) and that any excuse to eat nachos is a good one. It sends a clear and coherent message to other cultures that we will adopt your fun holidays with glee but god forbid you ever try to move here. I do not yet have a comically oversized margarita in my hand, but as I'm writing this it's not even 2:30pm, so it's only a matter of time. Of course, if you're not in a celebratory mood, it appears that the Thursday night shows are new and where they're supposed to be for like, the second week in a row now which shouldn't be remarkable but unfortunately is. The big entertainment news this weekend that didn't relate to the Oscars, clothing, or James Franco doing his best impression of a Lay's Baked potato chip was that Charlie Sheen has finally accomplished what we all thought was impossible; production has been halted on "Two and a Half Men." I'm sure you've all seen or heard the rant itself, or seen quotes from it placed on photos of adorable kittens which makes everything seem funnier and less like it came from the mouth of an unbalanced man who has probably burned through at least one septum with his coke usage. I'm thrilled because it always baffled me that a country that got up in arms over whether Lea Michele's shirt exposed too much of her sternum on the cover of Cosmo didn't say a word about a known drug abusing, hooker frequenting, girlfriend punching public relations disaster like Mr.

I'm a bit late tonight because the Miami traffic that I drive through every evening that makes a 14 mile drive take about 45 minutes most night was even worse today because there was some sort of Chanukah procession going on down the main street in Miami Beach when I left work, despite the fact that there had been no signs or warnings to indicate that that road would be unavailable. That's how we roll down here, with little to no civic planning. I apologize for the delay and here's your Wednesday night TV:
8:00pm: "American Ninja Warrior" on G4. Second season premiere.
"Dance Cam Slam" on VH1
"The Middle" on ABC
"The Sing-Off" on NBC
"Survivor" on CBS
"Losing One of My Giant Legs" on Tlc. Well, certainly an extremely informative and evocative title.
8:30pm: "Better With You" on ABC
9:00pm: "Criminal Minds" on CBS
"Fashion Forward" on...

Happy Chanukkah to all my readers out there who are celebrating tonight! It's past sundown here in Miami so I'm sure there are plenty of people sitting around lighting candles, eating latkes, and having deep conversations about why they don't call their mother enough, which is mostly how a lot of us also spend the holidays only without the latkes which is a tragedy since they're delicious. I tend to be in favor of most things which are fried and there's far worse reasons to snack on them then some lamps that burnt for over a week a few thousand years ago. So, whether or not your evening involves potato products and guilt, here's your Wednesday night TV:
7:30pm: "The Other City" on Showtime. 90 minute special presentation.
8:00pm: "America's Next Top Model" on The CW. 15th season finale.
"Campus Pd" on G4
"Human Target" on Fox

The Saddest Gay Week Ever
Around the AfterElton.com offices we frequently refer to the "AfterElton community," but the reality of how much the site has grown to become an actual community truly hit home this week when we learned that Logan, one of our longtime members, had tragically been killed in a car accident.
We only learned that Logan had died two weeks ago when his friend Emi joined the site to post the awful news. She said she had done so because Logan (known as Fergie to his offline friends) had frequently spoken of those he'd met on AfterElton and how much the friends he'd met here had meant to him.
I can honestly say I was blown away hearing this. A gay guy living in the highlands of Scotland spoke fondly and frequently enough of the site that his straight friend thought to come here and tell us the news?...

Four-time Emmy Award winning comedian Greg Fitzsimmons has just written one of most hilarious and unexpectedly moving Irish American memoirs in years. He talks to Cahir O’Doherty about his career, his success and lifelong his unstoppable urge to behave badly. If stand-up comedy is the bottom rung in the entertainment ladder, then memoirs must be the lowest rung of the publishing world. But that’s just fine for comedian Greg Fitzsimmons, 44, the four-time Emmy Award winner. “Memoirs have become the lowest form of writing, which is exactly why I was drawn to the genre,” Fitzsimmons told the Irish Voice during a recent interview. Lifelong shame and guilt (and pointless attempts to impose them on him) drive his raucous and unspeakably funny new book, Dear Mrs. Fitzsimmons: Tales of Redemption from an Irish Mailbox (Simon & Schuster). Constructed around a series of increasingly angry (and unintentionally hilarious) letters from his outraged teachers,...

In his new book, Dear Mrs. Fitzsimmons: Tales of Redemption from an Irish Mailbox (Simon & Schuster), comedian Greg Fitzsimmons—radio personality, winner of four Emmys, and a frequent guest on The Howard Stern Show—provides a hilarious glimpse into his warped Irish-Catholic upbringing. In this audio excerpt, he reads from a cavalcade of complaint and disciplinary letters that he and his mother have received over the years, laying bare the painful yet humorous realities of growing up in a defiantly dysfunctional family. Listen to the podcast after the jump.

As the year begins, Comedy Central will be starting a new series, as well as improving on old ones.
The humor-based cable channel will offer a new weekly comic showcase as part of its programming lineup. "John Oliver's New York Stand-Up" serves as both a forum for other funny people, as well as the stage act of the titular host. The series, scheduled for a six episode run beginning on January 8, offers Oliver the opportunity to pick some of his favorite fellow comics for camera time.
In the premiere, British comedian Oliver kicks things off by discussing his favorite things about America and joking about how Australians are upside-down. Another of his points has to do with voting under the influence. Oliver's segment in the first episode is complemented by performances by stand-ups Maria Bamford, Nick Kroll and Greg Fitzsimmons. Eugene Mirman rounds out the episode with a super-sized set.

New York -- Funny people seem to write their memoirs early these days. Standup and TV writer Greg Fitzsimmons ("The Ellen DeGeneres Show" etc) is only in his early 40s, but he has just signed a deal with CBS Corp.'s Simon & Schuster book unit to write a comedic memoir entitled "Dear Mrs. Fitzsimmons," set to come out next year.
The news comes after up-and-coming U.K. comedy star Russell Brand recently published his memoir and news that Kathy Griffin has signed a deal to pen hers.
The narrative of Fitzsimmons' book will take an unusual approach to portray the comic and what is described as his dysfunctional Irish-American family. It will use the disciplinary letters, incident reports and the like that his parents received from teachers during his younger years plus his own collection of letters received during college and thereafter.
Simon & Schuster editor Kerri Kolen won the book at auction.

Comedy Central is launching a series of animated interstitials produced by Denis Leary and Jim Serpico's production company, Apostle Pictures, that will feature stand-up comedians Dane Cook, Greg Fitzsimmons, Janeane Garofalo, Jay Mohr, Patrice O'Neal, Jeffrey Ross and Leary. The clips, which vary in length from 15-60 seconds, are full or shortened versions of spots from House Arrest, Apostle's animated half-hour pilot for the cable network, which is a serious contender for a series pickup. They will start running Thursday and will be featured at least once an hour in all dayparts through May and June. House Arrest, created by Eric Brown, Tom Sellitti and Serpico, stars Chico and Beanie, two twentysomething underachievers who, adhering to Chico's mandatory house-arrest sentence, ride the couch and watch animated interstitials -- visual illustrations of jokes by stand-up comedians.
