The chants and shouts of pro-Palestinian demonstrators disrupted the entry to the Washington Hilton for this year’s White House Correspondents’ Association dinner, but once inside, attendees were greeted with what has become the usual scene: Celebrities on the red carpet, a crush for the security line and glitterati packed into a cavernous ballroom.
“I want to thank my wife for enduring lots of jokes and for agreeing to individually meet everyone in this room right after the ceremony,” the evening’s featured entertainer, Colin Jost, quipped about Scarlett Johansson, who posed for photos with a non-stop stream of attendees. She continued to do so later in the evening, at the Comcast-nbcu after party at the French ambassador’s residence.

Hln is planning a Thanksgiving weekend marathon of The West Wing, marking the first scripted series for the CNN Worldwide channel.
All 90 episodes from the first four seasons of the series will be shown starting on Thanksgiving Day and running through Sunday.
The marathon is an example of synergy with parent Warner Bros. Discovery, which has wanted to see more integration between the units. The entire seven-season run of The West Wing is on HBO Max, as well as the special A West Wing Special to Benefit When We All Vote from 2020.
Produced by Warner Bros. Television, The West Wing ran on NBC from 1999 to 2006, and was a favorite in D.C. policy circles, even if aspects may have been an idealized version of a presidential administration. Cast members have remained politically active. Martin Sheen, Bradley Whitford, Melissa Fitzgerald, Mary McCormack and Richard Schiff recently gathered for a virtual reunion...

On March 16, 2020, Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley launched “Stars In The House” in response to what they knew would be an immediate need for funds in light of the Broadway shutdown.
Now, one year and over 375 episodes later, “Stars In The House” has raised over $715,000 for The Actors Fund, and an additional $200,000 for other charity organizations who have needed support throughout the pandemic.

The Good Wife, Season 6, Episode 16: “Red Meat”
Written by Nichelle Tramble Spellman
Directed by Michael Zinberg
Airs Sundays at 9pm Et on CBS
After sixteen episodes of build, the day has finally come, and the fictional voters of The Good Wife’s bizarro Illinois have spoken. It’s a foregone conclusion the moment that Alicia says that she’s “relieved” to be behind in the first exit polls: Alicia wins, aided by some last-minute dirty manoeuvring by Peter. While the State’s Attorney run hasn’t made for the most riveting stretch of the series by any means, its conclusion at least underlines that Alicia will no longer be able to rationalize herself as “the good guy,” and perhaps in the letting go, she can find an acceptable way forward. She’ll never be Frank Prady – a man so principled that he can’t even bring himself to work for Alicia,...

"Psych" star Dule Hill stopped by "The Chew" Monday (Jan. 27), where he helped make some spaghetti carbonara and gave host Carla Hall some tap-dancing lessons -- he's currently starring on Broadway in "After Midnight," a show about Harlem's famed Cotton Club -- in addition to giving a few insights into his days as Charlie on "The West Wing."
When asked about the infamous Aaron Sorkin walk-and-talk shots, Hill says, "It was only terrifying if you were the last person to come into the scene. If you were doing a four-page walk-and-talk and you have to come in and say, 'Here you go, Mr. President,' that is the most nerve-wracking thing." He then mimes what happens when you screw up that whole long shot and everybody has to start over. See it in the video above -- it's very funny.

Let us guess—right now you're sitting around? That is exactly why we bring you this mini West Wing reunion clip posted on Funny or Die earlier today, because we care about you and your health. And, well, it's pretty funny, so that's another reason. Martin Sheen, Allison Janney, Dulé Hill, Joshua Malina, Melissa Fitzgerald and William Duffy jump back into their West Wing roles, which (obviously) includes walking and talking their way into the Oval Office to try and pass one last initiative with the president. This said-initiative "cuts the risk of heart disease, diabetes and stroke," along with breast cancer, colon cancer and prostate cancer. Amazing,...

The cast of The West Wing is back to walking and talking—at least for two minutes and twenty-two seconds. In the first on-screen cast reunion since the 2006 series finale, some of the former West Wing regulars got together to poke fun at the memorable staple in a new Funny or Die public service announcement. Martin Sheen, Joshua Malina, William Duffy, Dulé Hill, Allison Janney, and Melissa Fitzgerald reprised their roles to promote Every Body Walk, a health campaign about the benefits of walking 30 minutes per day.

The cast of NBC's "The West Wing" has reunited for the first time in more than five years for a Funny or Die video promoting something everyone should do. Martin Sheen, Allison Janney, Joshua Malina, Dulé Hill, Melissa Fitzgerald and William Duffy all reprise their roles in the name of this good cause. Hint: It involves a massive walk and talk, the kind the show made famous. Democrats and Republicans do it. So do kids, religious fundamentalists, environmentalists, active military (they do it a lot, actually) and almost everyone else who can.
