Match #1: Fallon Henley def. Thea Hail The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Fallon Henley punched her ticket to Nxt Battleground by defeating her former friend Thea Hail, thanks to an unintentional assist from Chase U ally Ridge Holland. Hail had the upper hand and a frustrated Henley slid out of the ring and grabbed a chair, only to be thwarted by Holland. The Nxt official was unaware that it was Henley that introduced the weapon, and promptly ejected Holland as well as all of Chase U. Hail managed to rally without her teammates, but Henley managed to knock her around the ring before hitting a Shining Wizard to punctuate her win. After the match, Jacy Jayne’s friend Jazmyn Nyx attacked the helpless Hail.

Match #1: Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic – Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams def. Edris Enofé & Malik Blade The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Trick Melo Gang is on the same page as Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes took down Edris Enofé and Malik Blade in the first round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Trick and Melo came out hot, but the supreme athleticism of Blade and Enofé evened the playing field in a big way, highlighted by tandem splashes to the outside. Despite the incredible fight from Blade and Enofé, Trick Melo Gang took care of business and punched their ticket to the semifinals.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5 Match #2: Lyra Valkyria & Tatum Paxley def. Lola Vice & Elektra Lopez The following is courtesy of wwe.

Match #1: Nxt Women’s Championship – Tiffany Stratton def. Thea Hail The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Tiffy Time will continue as Tiffany Stratton successfully defended the Nxt Women’s Championship in first-ever defense of the title as she downed the upstart Thea Hail. Hail gave it her all and despite the showboating from Stratton, she was able to hit her signature offense and even lock in the Kimura Lock. Unfortunately for her, Drew Gulak and Charlie Dempsey began arguing with the referee and the distraction forced the referee to miss the champion tapping out. Stratton capitalized on the mistake and managed to roll up Hail and walk away as the champion.

Wes Lee walked out of Nxt Battleground with his historic Nxt North American Championship reign still intact as he knocked off both Tyler Bate and Joe Gacy in Triple Threat action. The champion and Bate have been allies in recent weeks, but Bate’s desire to be champion has soured the friendship and forced the two to come to blows with the villainous Gacy watching in the shadows. Match #1: Tiffany Stratton def. Gigi Dolin The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Nxt Women’s Championship kicked off in epic fashion as Tiffany Stratton became the first Superstar to punch their ticket to the semi-finals after an incredible match against Gigi Dolin. Dolin was still harboring some effects from the beatdown Jacy Jayne laid upon her last week, but she persevered despite having a compromised shoulder. In a savvy move, Stratton targeted that shoulder throughout the match, using it to neutralize Dolin every single time she gained some momentum. By the end of the match, Dolin’s shoulder couldn’t hold up as Stratton hit her signature rolling fireman’s carry and then finished the bout with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever to advance.

Match #1: Ilja Dragunov def. Trick Williams The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Mad Dragon returned to the ring in grand fashion as he took it right to one of the most athletic Superstars in Nxt, Trick Williams. Williams came out incredibly confident landing a few early strikes, but Dragunov responded in kind with his aggressive style. The two Superstars continued to thrash each other with clubbing blows, but a top rope attempt from Dragunov went awry as Williams knocked him to the outside. Jd McDonagh appeared at ringside and joined the commentary team, seemingly trying to intimidate The Mad Dragon, but it was to no avail as Dragunov rallied, set a dazed Williams up in the corner, and nailed Torpedo Moscow to secure the win.

It’s funny to listen to these old bastards pick on the more successful guys and critique how they didn’t “draw money”, when there are so many factors in place that prevent even the biggest stars from actually drawing money. Nxt UK has a few stars in it, but doesn’t seem to be doing well enough as a brand all its own. Is it the wrestlers’ fault that Nxt UK isn’t raking in millions a week? But as the dust cleared, Mark Coffey & Wolfgang unleashed a ruthless surprise assault on Wild Boar & Primate, perhaps...

Welcome to this week’s Nxt: UK review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a big title match for the main event. I’m already liking this better than Raw or Smackdown.
Match #1: Mark Coffey & Wolfgang def. Carlos Romo & A-Kid The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Gallus took another huge step on their continued quest for dominance, as Mark Coffey’s hard kick set up Wolfgang’s devastating powerslam to give the duo a decisive win over Carlos Romo & A-Kid.
My Opinion: 2.5 out of 5 - This was fun for what it was. The action was just fine for the time given and that isn’t a bad thing at all.
Match #2: Kassius Ohno def. Gentleman Jack Gallagher The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After voicing his resentment to Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala over not receiving a Qualifying Match...

Welcome to this week’s Nxt: UK review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a whole bunch of movin’ and shakin’ goin’ on. Yeah, it feels like an Alabama thing when I write like that. That’s the point. Any-way, I think we might have a few good ones here, so let’s get to ‘em.
Match #1: Moustache Mountain def. The Hunt The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
In the opening contest, Tyler Bate & Trent Seven tried their luck against the primitive tandem of Wild Boar & Primate. In the final moments of their hard-fought contest, The Big Strong Boys indeed proved themselves to be kings of the jungle when they utilized the springboard clothesline into the dragon suplex to tame the wild beasts.
My Opinion: 2.5 out of 5 - This was a lot if fun, if not an altogether interesting bout.
Match #2: Joe Coffey def.

Welcome to this week’s review of WWE’s Worlds Collide, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have two battle royals to get to, so let’s do so.
Match #1: Bianca Belair won the Women’s Battle Royal The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
“I’m on my own, against the wall” might be the opening lyrics of Bianca Belair’s entrance song, but those words also tell the story of her triumph in the Worlds Collide’s Women’s Battle Royal. With no allies in sight, and 17 opponents eying the same victory circle, The Est of Nxt powered her way to one of the biggest wins of her career. As talented as Belair is, besting a loaded field of Nxt and Nxt Superstars was far from the easiest task. The Horsewomen’s Jessamyn Duke & Marina Shafir operated like two wolves from the same pack,...

Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt: UK, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and there’s a bad moon rising…maybe. Do you think Vince McMahon has a sex dungeon? Vince seems like he’d have one. Any-way, we have some good wrestling here, so let’s get to it.
Match #1: Joe Coffey & Mark Coffey def. Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
An elite tag team showdown kicked off the latest episode of Nxt UK when the explosive combination of Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster squared off against Gallus’ Joe Coffey & Mark Coffey. At the end of the knockdown-dragout contest, Mark caught Andrews as his opponent dove through the ropes and planted him on the ring apron with authority. Moments later, Joe raised his knees and halted Webster’s aerial attack off the top rope. This paved the way...

Welcome to this week’s Nxt: UK review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have the big show before the big show (Nxt: UK – Takeover), so let’s see if it is better than last week’s event.
Match #1: Ligero def. Joseph Conner The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
After weeks pontificating from dark corners about being “fed a lie” as one of Nxt UK’s “shiny new toys,” a focused Joseph Conners brought all his resentment to bear against the high-flying Ligero. Despite his aggression, however, it was not enough to overcome the Leeds Luchador, who used the ropes to springboard himself inside an explosive Ddt to pick up the win.
My Take: 2.5 out of 5 – The wrestling here was fluid and crisp, but it never felt like this match was going anywhere beyond the bottom of the card, if that makes any sense.

Welcome to this week’s Nxt: UK, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a big title match for the main event, so let’s see if every-thing comes together alright.
Match #1: Zack Gibson & James Drake def. “Wild Boar” Mike Hitchman & “Primate” Jay Melrose The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
One episode after General Manager Johnny Saint announced the first Semifinals Match for the forthcoming Nxt UK Tag Team Championship, pitting Moustache Mountain against Gallus’ Mark Coffey & Wolfgang, Zack Gibson & James Drake made it clear they will not be denied their place in the tournament when they took on the strange combination of “Wild Boar” Mike Hitchman & “Primate” Jay Melrose.
Withstanding an absolutely animalistic assault from their opponents throughout the match, Gibson pulled Drake out of the way as Hitchman was charging to the corner, sending their opponent flying into the turnbuckle and...

Welcome to this week’s Nxt: UK review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a new UK Women’s Champion to crown, so let’s get right to it.
Match #1: Joe Coffey vs. Tyler Bate ended in a No Contest The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
After tasting weeks of defeat, Sid Scala went to Nxt UK General Manager Johnny Saint for an opportunity and walked out of the Gm’s office with a future match against Joe Coffey. However, still not medically cleared this week, Scala instead emerged to introduce Coffey’s replacement opponent, Tyler Bate – just weeks after The Coffey Brothers and Wolfgang attacked Moustache Mountain backstage. Though Bate’s explosive office proved effective against Coffey early on, the distraction by emerging Mark Coffey and Wolfgang allowed the Iron King to take change with a brutal offense. The former U.K.

Welcome to this debut of the Nxt: UK review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and I played Thor in my high school’s version of Kramer vs. Kramer, called Thor vs. Thor. It hurt a lot. It’s exciting to bring a review of wrestlers from the United Kingdom to this site and I think this will be a lot of fun.
Match #1: Joe Coffey def. Mark Andrews The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
In the first match of the night, the exciting, high-flying, stage-driving Mark Andrews went looking for retribution against the massive Joe Coffey after Joe and Mark Coffey laid waste to him and three other competitors during a high-stakes Fatal 4-Way Match at the second annual United Kingdom Championship Tournament in June. Andrews put his incredible skill and agility on display from the opening bell, taking his opponent down with an impressive pair of hurricanranas,...
