Jacinta Gonzalez, a naturalized American who was born in Mexico, was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials Saturday after she and two other members of the Puente Human Rights Movement were arrested on Shea Boulevard in the Phoenix, Arizona, suburb of Fountain Hills for stopping traffic in order to prevent people from attending a local rally for Donald Trump. The road-blocking protest, which can be seen in the ABC15 video above, successfully caused traffic chaos, before Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office dispered the protest and arrested Gonzalaz, Michael Cassidy and Stephany Laughlin. Gonzalez was held overnight by local Ice officials and.

There are probably only six people in the world who care about this. Luckily, three of them work at Zap2it.
James Van Der Beek stopped by the taping of tonight's "Dancing With the Stars" to promote his new show, "Don't Trust The B---- In Apartment 23," because cross-promotion is what ABC does best. Van Der Beek's wife wasn't able to join him because she's got a newborn at home, so he brought another date -- and our hearts sang when we spotted him.
"Bonus points for the DC fan who can tell me who I'm sitting next to at DWTS..." the Beek tweeted.
Duh. His plus-one was Hal Ozsan, who appeared in 14 episodes of "Dawson's Creek" over the course of the series' last two seasons. Ozsan played Todd Carr, a temperamental director who ended up taking Dawson under his wing and showing him the ropes of the film industry.

Back in 2002, director Brett Ratner signed up to helm the J.J. Abrams-penned Superman: Flyby for Warner Bros. However, he eventually walked away from the project and was later replaced by McG who screen tested Jason Behr, Jared Padalecki, Michael Cassidy and Henry Cavill (who was of course chosen by director Zack Snyder for 2013's Man of Steel) to play Superman. Several other actors were also said to be in talks and it was recently revealed that Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. was considered for the role of Lex Luthor. However, the project ultimately fell apart despite J.J. Abrams' requests to direct his script and the studio ultimately replaced McG with Bryan Singer in 2004. Talking to Digital Spy recently, the This Means War director looked back at his failed adaptation and his regret at not being able to helm the movie which would have also starred Henry Cavill...

Step Up 3
Let me start off this review by saying fairly that the film “Step Up 3″ is definitely not my cup of tea. But I don’t really think the movie is aimed towards myself, but rather people that are interested and participate in the human ritual of rhythmic motion known as dancing.
Here’s the story: Moose (Adam G. Sevani) & his lifelong best friend Camille (Alyson Stoner) have just started school at Nyu. Moose’s parents are saying goodbye & couldn’t be happier that their son has set aside his foolish desire to dance to instead focus on earning his Engineering degree. No sooner do his parents leave him be does Moose stumble onto an impromptu dance-off. Moose injects himself into the contest & his moves catch the eye of Luke (Rick Malambri), an amateur filmmaker & dancer who heads up The House of Pirates, a local dance squad...

The online world has been buzzing with speculation ever since an alleged list of five contenders for the lead role in "The First Avenger: Captain America" hit the 'Net. While there's been no official word on whether the list is legit, we asked you to vote on your favorite from the five contenders last week — just to find out where popular opinion stands on the actors' shield-slinging potential.
Since then, two of the actors have declared they're out of the running, but according to our poll results, they were never really in the running — not when it comes to fan opinion, that is.
With 51 percent of the vote, "The Office" actor John Krasinski was named fans' favorite actor for the role (from among the rumored contenders). His tally nearly doubled that of runner-up Chace Crawford ("Gossip Girl"), who netted 26 percent of the total votes.

I love Family Guy. I love Star Wars. But for some reason, when you put the two together, the result is….something, something, something, mediocre.
I was underwhelmed by Blue Harvest, the Family Guy’s first effort to poke fun at George Lucas’ saga, and I feel the same way about Something, Something, Something, Dark Side—a 54-minute parody of The Empire Strikes Back. Empire is my favorite movie of all time, and it’s obvious that executive producer Seth MacFarlane, writer Kirker Butler, director Dominic Polcino (who also helmed Blue Harvest) and the Family Guy cast & crew love Star Wars: Episode V, too. If you watch Family Guy, you know that the show has made Star Wars references before and that these guys know that galaxy far, far away as well as anybody, but I think the problem with both Something and Blue Harvest is that they’re parodies.
