Five senior executives have abruptly quit Dick Clark Productions, the company behind the Golden Globes and the upcoming Academy of Country Music Awards, amid complaints of what one insider called a “toxic culture,” TheWrap has learned. In the past few weeks, the production company has seen an exodus of top executives, including Linda Gierahn, executive vice president of production; Mark Bracco, executive vice president of programming and development; Amy Pfister, vice president of communications; Rika Camizianos, VP of creative content and postproduction — brand, marketing and digital strategy; and Ben Roy, vice president of programming and development. Another top executive, EVP of Digital Strategy Ariel Elazar, has moved out of Dcp into another division of parent company MRC, which is co-owned by Modi Wiczyk, Asif Satchu and Todd Boehly. The 2020 YouTube Streamy Awards honored the best of online entertainment Saturday night with its virtual ceremony. While the annual ceremony seeks to honor accomplishments in the realm of digital entertainment, Hollywood’s own Will Smith received a prize in the crossover category.

Dick clark productions and Tubefilter unveiled the nominees for the 2020 YouTube Streamy Awards which range from up-and-coming stars with millions of followers to global icons. The event will stream exclusively on YouTube on December 13 at YouTube.com/Streamys.

YouTube said Thursday that it will exclusively broadcast the 10th annual Streamy Awards on December 13. This year’s ceremony will also line up with YouTube’s 15th anniversary.

The 9th annual Streamy Awards are about to get a little more muscle behind them. YouTube is partnering with Tubefilter, which oversees the yearly event, and dick clark productions for the awards ceremony, which will take place at the Beverly Hilton on December 13. The event will stream live globally on YouTube, naturally.
The partnership between Tubefilter and YouTube seems like a next step in the relationship. Last year, the video streaming platform was named the official presenting and distribution partner for the Streamy Awards.
The Streamy Awards is composed of 50 awards honoring excellence in a variety of content verticals and areas of expertise. The 9th annual Streamy Awards is broken up into three separate sections: the Streamy Awards; the Streamys Brand Awards, which returns for a second year; and the Streamys Purpose Awards, which returns for a third. Each section represents a distinct set of categories with a shared theme.
