"This is not the way… Peace doesn't follow death, does it?" Saban Films has revealed an official trailer for an indie western thriller titled The Last Manhunt, directed by the actor Christian Camargo. This hasn't played at any fests and still doesn't have a release date, but it should be out pretty soon. Set in 1909, when a reputed murder sparks a Shakespearean tragedy, Willie Boy accidentally shoots his love interest's father after a confrontation gone wrong. Based on a true story told by the Chemehuevi tribe, the film features a primarily Native American ensemble cast. "You got a reckoning coming ..." in the form of a new Jason Momoa movie. No, it's not "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom," and in all honesty, who even knows when that movie is coming out anymore. It was supposed to hit theaters this year, but is currently lost at sea until December 2023. However, just in time for the series finale of Momoa's three-season Apple TV+ series, "See" — which drops next week — Saban Films has released a trailer for a Momoa movie set on dry land, the upcoming Western, "The Last Manhunt," directed by and co-starring Momoa's "See" castmate, Christian Camargo.
"The Last Outlaw" is based on a true story which, according to Variety, comes from oral tradition of the Chemehuevi tribe, an indigenous people of the Great Basin region of the United States. The trailer, which you can see below, promises "a band of ruthless lawmen on the greatest manhunt in American history.

Are you ready to say goodbye to See?
The hit Apple TV+ drama wraps up its run later this month.
Before we get to that, we have See Season 3 Episode 7, which brings plenty of conflict to the surface.
TV Fanatic scored an exclusive first look at the installment that will surely switch things up.
Queen Kane (Sylvia Hoeks) and Kofun (Archie Madekwe) get into quite the war of words in the clip as they both come to terms with the big changes.
It certainly leaves us with many questions as we head into the episode.
As previously reported, See Season 3 will conclude the Jason Moma drama.
"Almost a year has passed since Baba Voss (Momoa) defeated his nemesis brother Edo and bid farewell to his family to live remotely in the forest," the official logline reads.

Review: When AppleTV+ launched in November 2019, See was one of the marquee series that premiered with it. With the added twist that the post-apocalyptic series existed in a world without sight, Steven Knight’s epic show would have a unique twist to set it apart. After a slow-paced first season, See came back with an improved sophomore season that benefited from...

In revisiting the tale of fugitive lovers on the run in California’s High Desert, the makers of “The Last Manhunt” sought to correct a story that has remained very much alive for the indigenous Chemehuevi people of the region for more than 100 years.

Waxwork Records and WaterTower Music are proud to present Malignant Original Motion Picture Score by Joseph Bishara. Malignant is the latest creation from Conjuring universe architect James Wan. The film marks director Wan’s return to his roots with this original horror thriller. In the film, Madison is paralyzed by shocking visions of grisly murders, and her torment worsens as she discovers that these waking dreams are in fact terrifying realities.
Joseph Bishara is an American composer, music producer, and actor best known for his work scoring films such as Insidious, The Conjuring, Annabelle, and The Prodigy. He is known for his avant-garde style and unique approach to instrumentation and composition that suits horror films particularly well. Bishara disregards horror film score conventions by employing gut-wrenching string dissonance, haunting electronics, and sudden crescendos. Bishara’s Malignant score offers his distinctive style of disquieting strings, pulsing electronics, droning synths, and haunting sound design.

In the dystopian world of the Apple TV+ series “See,” the notion of blindness can be interpreted as a peculiar kind of enemy for its characters to contend with. Where Baba Voss (Jason Momoa) was born, sightlessness is the standard, and sight is a fallacy. No one seems to remember a past that was any different. Survival is the main objective. For Season 2, show creator Steven Knight ups the ante of his post-apocalyptic curio, introducing a flesh-and-blood adversary. If Baba Voss had long been anointed chieftain, now he must face Edo Voss (the inimitable Dave Bautista), his brother, to protect his title.
Now, there are no half measures. It’s kill or be killed.
The addition of Bautista eventually proves its worth. His introductory scene — which canvasses his hulking frame, his face a long-bearded scowl — makes it very clear that he’s beastly and to be utterly feared. If the season’s key art,...

Striking a middle ground between teen fantasy “The Craft” and deadly serious political allegory “The Handmaid’s Tale” is “Witch Hunt,” writer-director Elle Callahan’s second feature. Her first, the 2019 “Head Count,” was a strikingly assured supernatural mind-bender, albeit one a little too understated for some genre fans. By contrast, this sophomore effort is comparatively conventional and straightforward in depicting paranormal themes, even given the added fillip of overt current-events commentary. It’s a more uneven work nonetheless, with some odd storytelling missteps and signs of budgetary constriction. Still, the fanciful tale of minority persecution in a U.S. not so different from our offscreen reality should easily attract acquisition interest around its SXSW premiere.
