- Best known as the voice of Grim Reaper in "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy".
- After speaking with a slight Jamaican accent for the Bily & Mandy audition, the creator finally decided to keep Greg Eagles and make Grim Jamaican.
- When Kaneto Shiozawa, who voiced the character Gray Fox in the Japanese version of Metal Gear Solid (1998), died in 2000, it was mistakenly reported that Eagles, who voiced the same character in the game's English version, was the person who had died. Although Eagles is alive and well, and continues to do voice-work, the misinformation is still spread and many fans of the game continue to believe that he has been dead for years. Eagles first learned of this fact during an interview in 2003 and considers it to be "kinda trippy".
- Stated on Comic Con 2007, that the "prototype" of Grim's voice was actor Geoffrey Holder.
- The Teapot short was also storyboarded by Alex Almageur who did art for Billy & Mandy, making it another homage of Greg's B&M work.
- He created, produced, written, voice directed and starred in a TV pilot called "Teapot" produced by Frederator Studios for Nickelodeon, with Dahveed Kologny Nagy (of Supa Pirate Booty Hunt). He even sang the theme song for the show.
