- Was an accomplished artist who studied at Wimbledon College of Art and the Royal College of Art. She is considered to be one of the founders of British pop art and the only female in that movement. A painting of hers of Marilyn Monroe, "The Only Blonde In The World," is featured in the Tate Gallery in Liverpool.
