- Jackson Bostwick was born on October 23, 1943 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, U.S. as Jackson Leonard Bostwick Jr. He is a producer, director and actor who is best known for his portrayal of Captain Marvel in the Saturday morning live action TV series Shazam! (1974), but he also appeared in the films Psychopath (1973) (formerly Eye for an Eye), TRON (1982) and The Prey (1984). He was married to Elizabeth Lamont in March of 2002 until their divorce in 2008. They have one child. - Was fired from Shazam! (1974) after two episodes into its second season and replaced by John Davey. He failed to show up for a shooting and the producers accused him of holding out for more salary. The truth was, he had sustained an injury at the previous day's shooting and was getting treatment. Bostwick successfully filed a lawsuit against Filmation Enterprises, who was forced to pay him for the remainder of his contract, which included the remaining episodes of the second season.
