- Helena Blehárová was born on June 28, 1943 in Zilina, Slovenský stát [now Slovakia]. She is an actress, known for Lady on the Tracks (1966), Hroch (1973) and Triatricet stríbrných krepelek (1964).
- Originally a nurse by profession, she began her singing career in 1962 as a jazz singer.
- She was engaged professionally by the legendary Brno bandleader Gustav Brom. She performed successfully with the Gustav Brom Orchestra until 1968. Then she traveled abroad to sing, where she spent a total of two years.
- During her time in Brno that she began to study singing at the Brno Conservatory.
- After her return to her homeland in 1970, she collaborated with many Czechoslovak dance orchestras and jazz groups.
