"Whoever did this is still inside." Saban Films has debuted the trailer for a weird new sci-fi action thriller titled Armed Response, starring Wesley Snipes - who seems to be back in action between this and The Recall. The film is about a crew of special forces soldiers who go to a special high-tech military compound to investigate the disappearance of another team guarding the facility. The facility, known as a "Temple", is run by artificial intelligence designed to interrogate high level prisoners. But things get very strange as soon as they arrive. This also stars Anne Heche, Dave Annable, Gene Simmons, Anthony Azizi, and WWE Superstar Seth Rollins. I really don't know what to think of this - could be bad, could be okay. Take a look. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for John Stockwell's Armed Response, direct from YouTube: A team of special forces soldiers approach...

A man wakens in the morning and cleanses himself for prayer. He's a Muslim and in order to pray he should have been clothed not half naked! Walid (Walid Amini) meets his friend at the bus stop and he tells him he can have his notes as he won't be needing them anymore; implying he's about to do something like ending his life. Walid's friend can't get on the bus as he doesn't have fare. Moments later the bus explodes. He could have borrowed money from his friend. But not getting on he makes it look like he knows what is about to happen, the suicide aspect aside. This episode was filmed 2009 and appeared to be rather insensitive to the 7/7 bombings in London, choosing the bus as the target. Walid is viewed as the bomber more than his friend as he's still alive, they could have been in league together.

Hawkes (Hill Harper) attends a food festival, coerced by Camille (Lesley-Ann Brandt) where one of the food truck explodes. The chef, Derby Chayson (Daniel Bonjour) is dead. Flack (Eddie Cahill) thinks it may have been a terrorist attack. Mac (Gary Sinise) states the position of the truck and the time of the blast would not lead to loss of many lives. Mac finds traces of Tatp, an explosive made from household chemicals, that's why liquids are not allowed on planes. Jo (Sela Ward) comments on Hawkes calling in sick and he should save the explanations for Mac. Jo finds a bottle lid on the floor. Mac indicates the splash pattern shows the blast originated from the side panel, where the propane tank would have been located. The ignition source was the bottle. Mac thinks if they piece together the shrapnel it may tell them something. Regular as clockwork, Lindsay (Anna Belknap) pops up.

Warning: This article contains spoilers for the "On the Road Again" episode of Brothers & Sisters.
The death of Robert McCallister (Rob Lowe) in Sunday night's season finale of Brothers & Sisters may have been one of the worst-kept secrets in television history.
But the same episode, "On the Road Again," contained another a pivotal plot-twist that caught many viewers by complete surprise.
Uncle Saul, played by Ron Rifkin, is HIV-positive.
He joins an extremely small number of gay characters on scripted American television who have ever been identified as HIV-positive. The last such character, at least in such a high-profile TV project, may have been the character of Vince Taylor (Anthony Azizi) on the 2005-2006 series Commander-in-Chief.
Other regular gay or bisexual HIV-positive characters in TV history include Lee Campbell on The Best Years (a Canadian import that aired on The N in 2007), and several characters on the Showtime series Queer as Folk.

So the never-crash universe is kind of different from the did-crash universe, isn't it? What with Jack being a dad and all. I'm guessing that the never-crash universe is giving the characters the opportunity to come to realizations about themselves that they aren't have the opportunity to do on the island.
ABC has released promo photos for the next new episode of Lost, which is scheduled to air on March 2. It looks like it's shaping up to be a Sayid-centric episode.

A new episode of The Deep End will be airing on January 28 and we've got a promo below to share with you. We've all had that friendship that was cut short for whatever reason — because your family moved, because you switched jobs, because you were a "greaser" and they were a "soc" — and we're left to wonder: what might have been?
The same is true for gays on television. Television programs are canceled for a lot of reasons, and it's definitely not always because of a lack of quality.
But what if these characters had stuck around a little longer? Who knows what kind of adoring or intimate relationship we viewers might have developed with them?
Here are a few of the folks I'd like to rescue from the Island of Lost Gay TV Characters:
Fred Savage as Mitch Crumb with co-star Jane Curtain
Mitch Crumb (from Crumbs)

"Eagle Eye" - Blu-ray Reviewby Peter Dimako, Editor War Games this is not. So drop that distant comparison. Riveting actioner shines on Blu-ray and keeps one glued with high-stakes chases throughout. With trailers thankfully not overexposing the film, “Eagle Eye” shines with top-notch performances and adrenalin-fueled drama which is guaranteed to satisfy. Re-teaming with his “Disturbia” helmer D.J. Caruso, Labeouf stamps his name into a limited field of actors who can manage any form of genre. Executive produced by Stephen Spielberg, “Eagle Eye” also serves as strong vehicle for Labeouf’s dramatical talents. The actor stars as Jerry Damon Shaw, a black sheep of the family who leads a deadbeat life that’s about to take a drastic turn.Tragically, Jerry is called to the funeral of his twin brother, a military man. The bond between them is deeply apparent and well brought out by Labeouf as tears roll down...

In the new movie Eagle Eye, three characters participate in a re-creation of the famous crop duster sequence from Hitchcock's North by Northwest. Only the plane from NbN has been replaced with an electrical tower and power lines, and it takes Shia Labeouf, Michelle Monaghan and Anthony Azizi to perform Cary Gran't part (Azizi also substitutes for the pilot and the farmer, I guess). Such an homage is not surprising coming from director D.J. Caruso, whose last picture, Disturbia, is currently involved in a lawsuit for being an uncredited remake of Hitch's Rear Window. This time, fortunately, ...

Facts of interest: Steven Spielberg served as executive producer on the film.
The plot: A slacker (Labeouf) and a single mom (Monaghan) are framed as terrorists and forced to engage in a political assassination.
Our thoughts: Big bro. is watching like never before in D.J. Caruso’s “Eagle Eye,” a totally unrealistic but thoroughly entertaining thriller that delivers enough vibrant action to make you ignore most of the film’s obvious flaws.
