The Academy of Country Music, Prime Video and Dick Clark Productions have tapped Amber Anderson, Kelly Sutton, Priscilla Block, Breland and Elaina Smith as hosts of the official red carpet show, which will feature “VIP access to all the excitement from the red carpet,” including the biggest fashion trends, interviews with stars, a look behind the scenes and performances from Dalton Dover, Tigirlily Gold and Matt Stell.

Ed Sheeran, hot off his winning verdict in the “Thinking Out Loud” copyright infringement case, is set to perform on the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards streaming live on Thursday, May 11, 2023 on Prime Video. This will be the first time Sheeran’s performing on the popular Country music awards show.

Exclusive: Dick clark productions has tapped veteran ViacomCBS executive Fonda Anita as EVP of Production. She will be responsible for physical production for all of dcp, including the company’s vast portfolio of live televised entertainment events.
The first program she will oversee at dick clark productions is the 2021 American Music Awards, which is currently in pre-production with Jesse Collins as showrunner and executive producer and his company Jesse Collins Entertainment producing along with dcp, part of MRC’s Live & Alternative division, which is in the process of hiring a new President. Anita is replacing Linda Gierahn who left in May to join live entertainment production company Silent House.

Showtime announced that Season 2 of “Back to Life” will premiere on Sept. 13.
Created by and starring Daisy Haggard, “Back to Life” follows Miri Matteson (Haggard) who stumbles back into adult life after 18 years behind bars. The six-part second season sees Miri optimistic about her future, as probation officer Janice (Jo Martin) has gotten her a trial shift at the supermarket, and her neighbor Billy (Adeel Akhtar) has been spending more time with her. However, Miri is also not talking to her mother Caroline (Geraldine James) after finding out she had an affair with Miri’s ex-boyfriend Dom (Jamie Michie). Christine Bottomley also stars as Miri’s best friend, Mandy.
The series is produced by Two Brothers Pictures for Showtime and BBC Three, U.K. in association with All3Media International. Writers Haggard and Laura Solon executive produce alongside Sarah Hammond, Chris Sweeney, Tanya Qureshi and Harry and Jack Williams.

She’ll receive the award during an hourlong special to air on VH1 and Logo on International Women’s Day, Friday, March 8 at 9 Pm.
