- DirectorRob ZombieStarsScout Taylor-ComptonTyler ManeMalcolm McDowellLaurie Strode struggles to come to terms with her brother Michael's deadly return to Haddonfield, Illinois; meanwhile, Michael prepares for another reunion with his sister. This sequel is out there and I don't like how they make Loomis a prick.
- DirectorRick RosenthalStarsJamie Lee CurtisBusta RhymesBrad LoreeThree years after he last terrorized his sister, Michael Myers confronts her again, before traveling to Haddonfield to deal with the cast and crew of a reality show which is being broadcast from his old home. The film could've been better and was really unnecessary. The intro with Curtis is probably the only good part in my opinion, but I hate that she's killed off and Rhymes ruined the film.
- DirectorRob ZombieStarsScout Taylor-ComptonMalcolm McDowellTyler ManeAfter being committed for 15 years, Michael Myers, now a grown man and still very dangerous, escapes from the mental institution and immediately returns to Haddonfield to find his baby sister, Laurie. It has a couple good moments, but the original is definitely superior.
- DirectorDominique Othenin-GirardStarsDonald PleasenceDanielle HarrisEllie CornellOne year after the events of Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988), the Shape returns to Haddonfield once again in an attempt to kill his now-mute niece. In my opinion, this is where the series went downhill, Pleasence and Harris are great in it though, and the intro is probably my favorite part of the film.
- DirectorJoe ChappelleStarsDonald PleasencePaul RuddMarianne HaganSix years after Michael Myers last terrorized Haddonfield, he returns there in pursuit of his niece, Jamie Lloyd, who has escaped with her newborn child, for which Michael and a mysterious cult have sinister plans. This entry is ok, but could've been better.
I prefer the producer's cut because it explains more, has a better score and finale, but mainly more of Pleasence. - DirectorDavid Gordon GreenStarsJamie Lee CurtisJudy GreerAndi MatichakSurviving victims of Michael Myers form a vigilante mob and vow to end his reign of terror. Not bad, but could've been better and the whole
"Evil Dies Tonight" quote was a bit much. - DirectorDwight H. LittleStarsDonald PleasenceEllie CornellDanielle HarrisTen years after his original massacre, the invalid Michael Myers awakens on Halloween Eve and returns to Haddonfield to kill his seven-year-old niece. Can Dr. Loomis stop him? This sequel is pretty good, Pleasence
was great as usual, Harris and Cornell are great and who can forget the ending. - DirectorDavid Gordon GreenStarsJamie Lee CurtisAndi MatichakJames Jude CourtneyThe saga of Michael Myers and Laurie Strode comes to a spine-chilling climax in the final installment of this trilogy. This is a pretty satisfying finale with a bit of a "Christine" vibe and Curtis is good in it.
- DirectorSteve MinerStarsJamie Lee CurtisJosh HartnettAdam ArkinLaurie Strode, now the dean of a Northern California private school with an assumed name, must battle the Shape one last time, as the life of her own son hangs in the balance. This is pretty good and should've been
the last since II wasn't. I like that Curtis returned, but missed Pleasence and Michael's mask could've been better. I also like
John Ottman's version of John Carpenter's classic theme. - DirectorDavid Gordon GreenStarsJamie Lee CurtisJudy GreerAndi MatichakLaurie Strode confronts her long-time foe, Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago. This is good, but I expected a bit more. Curtis
is great as usual and I like the score in which
Carpenter came back to compose. - DirectorRick RosenthalStarsJamie Lee CurtisDonald PleasenceCharles CyphersWhile Dr. Loomis hunts for Michael Myers, a traumatized Laurie is rushed to Haddonfield Memorial Hospital, and The Shape is not far behind her. This is a good follow-up to the original that should've been the last in my opinion, Pleasence and Curtis are great and John Carpenter & Alan Howarth's score is excellent.
- DirectorTommy Lee WallaceStarsTom AtkinsStacey NelkinDan O'HerlihyKids all over America want Silver Shamrock masks for Halloween. Doctor Daniel Challis seeks to uncover a plot by Silver Shamrock owner Conal Cochran.I've always liked this, the late, O'Herlihy was a great villain, Atkins is great as usual and John Carpenter & Alan Howarth's score is excellent as usual. The film was supposed to be the first of
a Halloween-themed anthology, but failed. It
should've been titled, "Season of the Witch,"
but I like that it's different and definitely has
that Halloween feel to it. - DirectorJohn CarpenterStarsDonald PleasenceJamie Lee CurtisTony MoranFifteen years after murdering his sister on Halloween night 1963, Michael Myers escapes from a mental hospital and returns to the small town of Haddonfield, Illinois to kill again. This changed the holiday forever, Pleasence and Curtis are great in it and who can forget Carpenter's chilling, classic score. Michael aka "The Shape" is one of the creepiest
movie killers and Carpenter paid tribute to
Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 classic,
"Psycho" where the name, Sam Loomis, the
kitchen knife and Janet Leigh's daughter,
Curtis are used. In my opinion, You can't
beat the original and it's definitely one
of Carpenter's best.
